VISA UPDATE

Honestly, first of all I want to use this medium to tell everyone that applying for a UK visa is all God...

I applied for a UK visa 31st July
Biometrics 1st August
Priority

I received empty NSF the following day

Priority days passed and I have not received decision yet

I began to feel worried because of all the issues on ground

I waited for good 15 working days until I was told that I will be doing an interview after I have done 6 paid calls asking for decision

I was mentally stressed and depressed while awaiting decision for my student visa

Finally I attended the interview

And I was asked the following questions:

Interview questions


How are you feeling today?

What's your name?

And your date of birth

What's your mother's name?

Her date of birth also?

How is the weather like in Nigeria today?


Why did you choose to study this course?

Why did you choose to study in the UK?

Did you also check other countries before choosing the UK?

What can you say about your course?

Why did you want to study project management?

What can you say about Northumbria university?


What module in your course are you looking forward to in learning when you get there?

What are your aspirations in the future?

Are you comfortable with the interview and how it was conducted?

Do you have any questions?

Alright that will be the end of the interview,have a nice day?

The following day my application was moved to VAC

The next day collection mail and to God be the glory my vignette was looking pretty on my passport today

What I can deduce is that the ukvi department are really looking into not allowing people come in with other motives other than the reasons for either student or visiting

So they take times to do checks and this in return gives people headache as they have spent alot in their application which is non refundable
.

For everyone who is still expecting a decision,God will do your own for you and you will look back and say these times have passed

Hi all, I received a letter from Home Affairs stating the below 👇🏾.

“You are required to electronically add / finalize supporting documents to your online application within 14 days of this letter. Failure to do so will lead to your application being CANCELLED and any money paid will not be refunded to you.
Should you have any queries, please call……”

Now the issue is, I have no idea of the document they are requesting considering I uploaded all necessary documents. Also, my application show ADJUDICATION OUTCOME RECEIVED but I’ve no idea what that means as I’ve gotten any visa acceptance or rejection letter. Please has anyone been in this situation before? What do you propose I do?

If you are a student, go with all your documents for proof of you will be denied entry

Hi folks, just to update for those in similar shoes:
1) my e-visa is out - today Thursday 17th
2) applied on Tuesday, the 8th (night) . So basically it took 7 working days/1 week and 1 day
Used DHA
3) you really may not need police report , if you’re going on visitors less than 3 months.
I used th following docs:
1) flight itinerary
2) passport
3) hotel booking
4) conference invite letter
5) personal introduction letter
6) 3 months bank statements
7) confirmation of employment letter
8. 3 months payslip
9) past visas and current residence permit in the UK
10) submitted yellow fever card but don’t think it’s relevant (it’s expired and I’m not travelling through a yellow fever region anyways). Just added it in case

Yes... For instance, you can write something like I HAVE A 4 YEAR OLD BOY AND TWO YEAR OLD GIRL.
Write as it applies to you and be sincere.

Your ordinary Nigeria ECOWAS passport is qualified for SA E-visa
