Same with me. Northumbria and even Northampton. After series of mails and calls to both of them, Northampton informed me that to get admission easily i must apply thru their Regional Office or Rep in Nigeria. I guess that might go for Northumbria as well.

First timer for schengen but I have had UK tourist visa 2010, 2011 6mths & 2yrs respectively , South Africa 2015 , but I was refused UK visa in January this year. I haven't been building my savings acc for sometime . Pls will the absence of the savings acc be a problem?.

Not really, but is more advisable to add savings anyway, but since that is what you have used it, so it will not look like, you are using your business money for the trip, e get as all these people they reason, your travel experience is also good anyway
