Keep trying ur luck in applying and make sure u tailor ur CV according to the requirement, without connection or money u can still be gainfully employed.

The problem of unemployment is one that has become very precarious in Nigeria today. On daily basis, people keep losing their jobs and the few available vacant positions are being strongly contested for, based on various yardstick, from nepotism, to bribery, to 'Man know Man' etc.. This situation can be annoying as well as frustrating atimes, especially when you don't seem to have a big shot to help out. However, we still find some few lucky people that get lucrative employment based on merit or on God's divine favor.

Personally, I don't think I have come across anyone who made an unsolicited online application to a company or organization who got the job. Although I've read of several.

I want to cease this opportunity to ask nairalanders, have you got a job based on an unsolicited online application before??

I've made several of such applications to mostly oil and gas coys but none has ever called for an interview.

So my people, in a nutshell do unsolicited applications work?? or is it a waste of precious time??

Please share your experience.

I didn't read the details of all the positions advertised but from the few I perused, the least experience is 3 years. You should give it a trial anyways, impossible is nothing!!!!

It's better you use a laptop, you can visit a nearby cafe if you don't have a personal computer or internet access.

Why didn't you just download the update from the phone it self? The phone even supports resume downloads. All these talk about system is just a long procedure

Unless if the autoloader did not download fully..
Another way is to do a back up of your data, do a security wipe on your device, connect to system with BlackBerry link and very good Internet service.... You can download the latest OS for your device through BlackBerry link

The autoloader downloaded fully I'm sure of that, I did a security wipe of the phone last week after the upgrade with autoloader failed, I tried using BlackBerry link but after it got to 33% it complained that the download couldn't continue

Try using WiFi to log in after 24hrs of previous attempt. It should work.

I faced that issue too but it was resolved that way after all online solution failed.
