I just attended a graduation party the other day.
I came home with a container of okro soup,jollof rice,fried rice,curried chicken,stewed kpomo and shaki even yam porridge sef.
My husband asked me why I was tasking food home,he hates when I do that
There was food everywhere.
and the host was begging people to take food.
You know Nigerians and their big parties for ordinary college first degree graduation.
I have no problems taking them.
I helped serve and clean up so that was a big thank you gift

Excellent point. Maybe they acted "cold" because they don't know you at all. The average Nigerian tends to avoid people they don't really know.
