walcolm: your post is incoherent which is not surprising since you're a techno phone proponent.

let me ask you a simple question, 'if techno is not using your head' does that mean techno sells you a phone that is more valuable than the money you pay for it?
I understand what he was trying to say. Twas a bit off scale. see oh, our threadowner here isnt working on a budget. Hes probbly got bout 100k to splurge on a beast of a fone which is fine. n3 is not in d class of these mutant monsters so oga threadowner, better get a samsung gal note2! Its one of tne hottest fones of our time. Lumia is ok. But lack of extensive apps will leave u bored faster than u can take a pic. Sgn2 is a device that will handle upcoming o.s after jellybean with ease! (jelly bean is currently the most sophisticated mobile o.s so do d math)

francis247: and you're not aware of the huge difference/importance of dual core CPU over single core in an Android world of today where games come in hundreds of Megabyte and well over 1-2gigabyte.
My guy, ure on point! These top brand fone manufacturers r making SUCKERS OUT OF THEIR BUYERS! It costs $100 to make an iphone 4 and its sold @ $700+!!!! Madness! Tecno makers mustve seen this calamity when they started working at LG. (fact) they resigned and started their charity work on making phones for the not so filthy rich nigerian youths. The N7 is unparraleld! i handled it @ slot and mahn was it fluid! Search fordual core fone prices and knw wassup! Dual core devices are certified monsters! LG L5 na toy compared to N7. The xperias and whatnot are facking overpriced!

the makers must've felt compelled to show the market something. Its just a teaser. The first ever TV was as big as my room so the first glass fone still has room for improvement.

That is a very early prototype. The cpu, gpu and main components are un that golden strip of wires @ d bottom. The screen is quite small though.

PhonesPolytrons New Transparent Glass Phone!!! by Ositainklord(op): 6:26pm On Feb 22, 2013
When will we see a transparent
smartphone? It's a question that's been
circulating for years, thanks to films like
Minority Report and Iron Man 2 that
sparked dreams of a diaphanous mobile
future, and more than a decade later, it's one that's still without an answer. Sony
Ericsson's Xperia Pureness fell flat when it
hit the market in 2009, and subsequent concept designs never came to fruition, leaving only a trail of dashed hopes and
semi-transparent feature phones in their wake. Now, Taiwan-based Polytron Technologies
is trying to revive the dream, with a
transparent multi-touch display that it's
begun marketing to OEMs. As Mobile Geeks reports, the key to Polytron's prototype is its so-called Switchable Glass technology —
a conductive OLED that uses liquid crystal
molecules to display images. When the
phone is powered off, these molecules form
a white cloudy composition, but once
activated with electric current (flowing through transparent wires), they realign to
form text, icons, or other imagery. ""It will happen near the end of 2013. Trust
me."" In its current form, the device still isn't
totally transparent. Most glaring is the SD
card, inserted on the bottom left side of the
phone, alongside the SIM card. The
microphone, camera, and batteries are also
visible, though Polytron plans to hide these with a darker glass cover once it goes to
production. In its finished state, the phone
would feature dual-sided multi-touch
displays (front and back), raising new
possibilities for OS and UI design. At this point, however, the display is still
very much in development. The prototype
features no software or operating system,
which makes it difficult to visualize in
practice. In an interview with The Verge,
Polytron general manager Sam Yu acknowledged that the company is still
working on integrating a smaller, less
conspicuous lithium-ion battery.
Transparent lithium ion technology has
been in development for some time now, but for the moment, Yu's prototype runs on
two small (and very visible) batteries. There's also no clear indication that it will
actually come to production anytime soon,
but Yu seems confident about its chances.
"It will happen near the end of 2013," Yu told Macworld last week. "Trust me." He later told us that Polytron is already in
serious discussions with "major smartphone
makers" across the US, Europe, Japan, and
South Korea. The looming question, though, is whether or
not the market even wants a translucent
device. Companies like Samsung, LG, and others have been touting larger transparent displays for years now, but aside from the occasional Far East prototype, there hasn't been as concerted an effort around smaller,
more Tony Stark-friendly form factors. A major hurdle in adapting the technology
to smaller screens stems from physical
constraints. At one end of the spectrum is
Tokyoflash, which recently used a
transparent LCD in its Kisai Spider wristwatch, but faced difficulties in integrating hardware components within
such a small frame. "The challenge of using
a transparent display in a wristwatch, and I
suppose other wearable technology, is that
you need to store the batteries somewhere
else (usually they are stored behind the LCD panel)," Tokyoflash marketing manager Paul
Cooper said in an e-mail, adding that
transparent display technology may offer
more obvious benefits for advertisers or as
interactive window displays
What do you guys think?

yes you can put a sim card in it and receive calls on that number but you'll look like an idi0t if you put a 10" tablet to your ear when a call comes in.

I hope you didn't buy a stolen or second hand tablet. if you bought it new, pls read the manual and understand how to use the basic functions on it first.

Nobody should be this tech crippled angry DAAAMMMMNNNNNN!!!!!

As much as i feel reluctant to joi in this conversation, i cant resist. Now, mazaje are u a muslim? I am a christian but i do feel the need to ask other muslims in the house if this is true? I have seen mass rallies of al-qaeda sects and iraqi ministerial houses on outright proclamation of death towards the countries whos actions they feel are out of context to their islamic ways. Little wonder boko-haram, a subsect of al-qaeda in the true sense , is avidly following in the cult fashion of their elder brothers. Eitherway, the seemingly barbaric code of conduct of the religion is not synonymous with most of the kindhearted muslims i have encountered. (a number of them have helped me in many ways). The acts of the radicals amongst the muslim kindred are subconciously tarnishing the images of the "sane" ones among them in our minds. Truly, the boko-haram myt be result of political malignancy, (we must mince words so as not to be prime targets of the political assailants)i for one have not even seen el-rufais *heinous* tweet, but i expected better from him. But mazaje, truly speaking, the day islam is banned will be the begining of world war 3.

But facing reality, the device is quite overpriced, its not like the body is made of kevlar (bulletproof) like motorola droid razr! Its trying to make a come back with the android app crossover but being overpriced with regular hardware is a fail!, im glad to see the epiphany of nigerians smartness in mobile gadgets considering the fact that We were all suckers to rims bulls**t a few yrs ago. (even though theres still the pennywise pound foolish lot who are still using that stupid bb porsche crap just for swag)
But wait oh--,

Step 1) Download the latest release of CyanogenMod 10 from http://download.cyanogenmod.com/?type=stable
Step 2) Download One Click Root http://www.oneclickroot.com/
Step 3) Connect your Android to your computer
Step 4) Run One Click Root to gain root access to your device
Step 5) Restart your device
Step 6) Install ROM MANAGER from https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.koushikdutta.rommanager&hl=enr
Step 7) Move CyanogenMod 10 onto your Android in the /sdcard directory
Step cool Start ROM Manager and choose the install .zip from sdcard option (note: you may have to restart your device to access the ROM Manager boot menu)

Its prolly for all dem GS2 or htc kind of androids--the drivers for popular brands are readily available but the ones for tecno are scarce
