we have close to 10 tecno threads on the FP. why isn't there anything for iOS? we have iPad and iPhone users here so what's stopping y'all?
I moderate poorly so this a call to others to create a thread.

with its plans, it’ll be called
Android 5.0 “Lollipop.”
Google has named its
Android releases after tasty
treats since the platform’s
inception, and with every
major release, it uses the next
letter in the alphabet. It began
with Android 1.5 Cupcake,
which was followed by Donut,
then Eclair, Froyo,
Gingerbread, Honeycomb, Ice
Cream Sandwich, and Jelly
Bean.
Last year’s release was
Android 4.4 KitKat, so this
year’s will almost certainly
begin with the letter L. And
according to sources for
Belgian blog Nixanbal, the
name Google has chosen is
Lollipop.
Lollipop is expected to bring
design changes and new
features to the Android
platform, but Google has done
an excellent job of keeping
those under wraps ahead of
their official unveiling.
Although we have seen a
couple of leaked screenshots
believed to be from Android
5.0, they reveal very little about
what the update will bring.
Google is also expected to
announce Android TV and
update us on Android Wear
and Google Glass during its
keynote today. It kicks off at 9
a.m. Pacific, and you can
watch the whole thing live on
YouTube.

Then for those who have issues with large HD games data, use "folder mount .apk. "
It needs root so root with the above Vroot app. Folder mount mounts your game data from your internal sd card to external. Its great.

Aa for CWM recovery, I stumbled on a Russian forum. Those guys are GURUZZZZ! They developed CWM for many phones. I will get back to you ASAP. Peace.

I warn una ! Brick mode! Just flash a CWM nandroid backup. Or reset factory settings from recovery. Wipe dalvik and system cache

samsard: 2K here refers to the screen resolution of a display for example:
HD is 1280*720
Full HD is: 1920*1080
while 2K is said to be any display resolution of: 2048*1080 there's also 4K and 8K but even TV screens have not gotten there yet.
Note that the difference between Full HD and 2K isn't much and not worth it (to me).

4k tvs are rampant from Samsung and lg now. It's beautiful.

There are no threads for lg users so I decided to start one. I use an l7ii. Rooting, modding, CWM, and any info on lg androids are welcome. I don't know it all so I wouldn't mind an extra hand that has knowledge on other models of optimus droids.

Truly, as a die hard Bruce Willisian android fan, ios7 is beautiful. Its ui is even coveted on xda themer forums. But I strongly believe it was a stolen concept from wp8. In all ramifications. Even to the extent of iPhone 5c lumia. I saw it with a girl at d bank. The 5c. I wanted to start pitying her sorry wp arse, then I looked again, it was an iPhone 5c. Shiiiiidamnit!
Bb 10 on d other hand is amazing in its gesture control. Its so perfect. I wish android had those awesome controls. As for the tile hub whatever thingy, it's bleh. Ios7cut costs and load on its gpu by going fully flat 2d icons and ui. Speaking of which, the iPhone 5s has the greatest graphics ever recorded on a phone at 78gflops!!!! Handling an ipad mini for gaming is bliss! Each os excels in its own way.
But Kingkat kitkat rocks anyday .

Honestly, slim bean was delicious. Good for games, speed and battery. But it had this screen flashing at intervals problem and when headset is plugged, the phone starts overheating. Other than that, it's almost the best Rom for the phone. But for stability, get AOSP ICS. Its the only bug free ICS Rom on xda. Best daily driver.

The only advantage s duos has over LG is the front camera. Though it has a bigger ram but I will tell you this, I have not run into a situation where my phone would be slow cos I opened many apps. Besides if you have clean master, that's not a problem at all. On the other hand LG has a better battery and design, slimmy, and stylish. So. Personally both are very similar but I I won't pick Samsung over L5. So my advice is get a better one at close price to l5. Get an LG p715 aka l7. It is a combination of both LG l5 and s duos and upgraded. I swear by the God I worship, you won't regret getting an LG p715. The last time I asked for the price was this December and in kano it s still 36k. The best part of this phone is the battery. Very few android device have a battery of 2460mAh

there is NO Techno phone with OTA. I lie? no! no Techno phone running mali-400 gpu. none running anything greater than quad core snapdragon 400 chipset. HTCs of 2012 do all of the above and more.
Techno is a good entry level smartphone. foe those who want a vannila android experience. if you want a device that snaps X-ray shots in slow motion, 4g network, plays ps4 disks and makes you coffee in the morning, FIRST, get a job, a girlfriend and then get the aforementioned titan device. @ op

Fentoluwa: I do have H+ on my fone b4 upgrade . As to d info on gsmarena I think it's correct to an extent cos there is no official upgrade for HTC G10. Yeah, D bootloader was unlocked

go to your dialer
dial *#*#4636#*#*
it should open a test menu. select phone status. scroll to a drop menu where there are different options for network modes. I.e, 4g, wcdma, cdma, edge, etc. select WCDMA ONLY. that should work.

if you're using quick root, just install the minimal ADB and place a shortcut on the desktop. run quickroot and hope it works. I used a manual method which involved pushing of some frevo files through ADB to downgrade my mytouch4g ( I know. different phone) and then used visionary APk and terminal emulator to root my phone in less than 45 seconds ( that easy).
just make sure ur ADB is installed correctly by running some commands to test it first. ADB is really helpful if you're bricked set. just tun quockroot. it should do the trick for you sensation guys

download minimal ADB and fastboot from xda. its 4mb Max! I used it. didn't need the 89 mb waste of space installer. put all your necessary root files in the installation folder.

"Stopautorenew" only stops the auto renewal, but deactivating will stop the service, which automatically means that autorenew won't work.

Deactivation or stopping Ur autorenew won't make Ur connection work, unless U add d 4mb plan or 10mb plan. (or any oda nrmal plan)

But deactivation allows you to subscribe to another BIS plan immediately (even though d current one is yet to expire). This is useful if U want to accumulate multiple MB.

For instance, you can use N400 to get 480MB almost immediately by subscribing to 240MB @ N200, then you deactivate, then you can resubscribe again.
