I will be so glad if anybody can take out his/her time to answer my few questions on canadian relocation:
1. I am a working class with a family that intends to relocate finally to canada soon
2. I will be solely responsible for the finances
3. What are the steps i need to take to move my family down there without any issue
4. What are my chances of getting job there soon to sustain my family(i have a technical background)
5. How tolerant are the canadian govt to immigrants

Are you a graduate, have you done NYSC. Your NYSC allowance is a good seed capital. I did my NYSC in 1997 at Abeokuta, a fellow corper from FUTA believed nobody would employ him because he made a 3rd class in Electrical Engineering. The guy used his NYSC allowance to buy laminating machine, which batch A corpers used in laminating their discharge certificates. The profits made from lamination was used in buying a computer, he later got a place which he used as a business centre at Pansheke. From one phocopier and one computer, he grew to 6 computers and 2 copier as at the time we finished NYSC. He decided to stay back in Abeokuta after service. I used to frequent Abeokuta after NYSC because I had a babe in the town. Each time I visited Abk, I always checked on my guy and found out that his business was growing. He introduced computer training and later internet browsing to his clients and customers. The biggest break came when GSM was introduced, imagine making profits of about 5k on every line sold, he also diversified into sale of phones and computers. The last time I saw him in 2011 he now has 2 properties in town.One of the properties is a shopping complex, while the other has a bank as the tenant. All these happened within 13 years.

This is inspiring, I hope we can remove that pride in us and start no matter how small the beginning looks like. It's a matter of time, with focus of mind, hardwork, commitment and God's grace, we will surpass our dreams...

That is exactly the way I felt when I got Executive trainee job with a bank in 2001. I resumed 24th December, 2001. Here are my unsolicited advise for you. You don't need to pay a dime for it. Get the book The richest man in Babylon. It major advise is to save 10 percent of your income, invest another 10 percent and give a tithe of 10 percent. I will advice you invest 40 percent of your income in anything that will give you financial freedom and landed property is the best for now. You don't need to go to Lekki go to Mowe Ofada redeem. Intact if I were you I will invest little in electronics, phones etc because they change with time. It reminds me of my BlackBerry Bold 1. Brand new one then cost N110,000 today it is less than 10k. That money can get me an hectare of land in Ibadan 8 plot then and today I would have resold it at least 300k per plot 7 years after. Have an alternative plan called plan B. Wish best of luck

Okay thanks, however what could be the implication in future if it isn't get fixed on time.

Don't know why ABS and hand brake indicators on the dashboard refuse to disappear after releasing hand brake and when car is on motion. Any help will be appreciated.

Sir, I am not an HR Consultant or Analyst. However, if you are good in what you do and referals speak for you, headhunters will come for you and will be willing to pay almost anything reasonable to recruit and retain you. As an example I was headhunted for my former job, headhunted for the present and i had 3 companies as at last week discussing placement opportunities with me.

An idea; clean up your cv, post it on LinkedIn pray to God and watch things happen. That is where i have gotten all my initial discussions initiated from.

Nice one bro,however most of these unknown well paid coys employ through connection especially by contact through insiders...any hope for helpless applicants!
