Sometimes, I am happy because I am above sixty years, meaning, am having lesser years to live than another who is fifteen years etc. This means that if this country goes straight forward the way it is, then those younger ones will have enough confusion, problems etc.to contend with. Take Buhari appointments for example, especially the INEC woman, all those human right groups are all looking the opposite side. All the Falanas, all the Keyamus etc are all keeping mute over such imoral and sinful apointment because they are expect those same insignificant 5% appointments from Buhari. Imagine, these people do not see any thing bad about that INEC appointment. If that type of tribal appointment was done by GEJ, the heavens would have fallen.
Whether we like it or not, this country will NEVER progress, no matter the saints Buhari will select, no matter the volome of prayers, God will NEVER approve the forward movement of this type of country, unless ONLY by the mercy of GOD. This is a rotten country

I often find this sentiment profoundly silly not because I have much regard for PDP but because of what it reveals about Nigerians' lack of perspective. PDP came into power in 1999, the Nigeria of pre-1999 was an odious calamity. You often find people who either don't remember the Nigeria of those days or were kids/young at the time and had no real knowledge of the actual state of affairs then, basing their analysis on the notion that PDP is the root cause of our problem. They do so because PDP is all they have known in their adult life.

Nigeria was messed up before PDP was formed, therefore, what is wrong with Nigeria transcends PDP. This is a 55 year old country which has been dysfunctional from the beginning. You can keep deluding yourself that regurgitating political characters from the past, so long as they are not PDP, is the path to a new beginning but that is the height of self-deception. I predict that we will be dissapointed just as we have been for 55 years. In 8 years time, people who are infants or teens today will proclaim that our problem is mainly attributable to APC. We will never learn.

Didn't you hear they left more money in NNPC's account than they did in the federation account? They disbursed more money from NNPC than they had remitted into the Federation account. The new discursive description is this:

You are not a true Northerner unless you think like a programmed android. Once you have a free mind to form your own opinions like Zainab Abba Haliru and Farida Adamu you become tagged a fake Northerner.

The new definition of a Northerner is someone who thinks, reasons, speaks, acts, eats, sleeps, laugh, cry, steals, lie, and generally live the way certain slave-master elders say it should be. Every deviant is not a true Northerner.

You are a true Northerner if you say CAN and President Goodluck Jonathan are the sponsors of Boko Haram. If you fault this reasoning and call it a lie then you are not a true Northerner, yet Shekau is not from Ogbomosho and he is not a Christian.

You are a real Northerner if you call President Jonathan clueless but once you point out that a clueless man could not have performed greatly as he did in certain sector like Rail transportation, Aviation, Road Construction, Agriculture, Education then you are a fake Northerner.
