Although we had been so unfortunate about leadership, since 1999. I think this man, Dr. Bukola Saraki has a pass mark. 319 bills passed under his watch is grossly unprecedented. Many Nigerians now need to update themselves with the new laws (those that have been assented to).

This man is not the one who inhibited PMB from giving us one Refinery per year as promised.

He didn't stop PMB from ressurecting our Power sector.

He didn't stop PMB from appointing more youths in Government.

He was not the reason PMB appointed Ministers six months after he was sworn in.

He is not the reason Corrupt Officials are having free walk.

He is not the reason Nigeria is yet to overcome Bokoharam and Herdsmen's rampage.

He was not the reason annual budgetary allocation to Education was below 15% for the four years of PMB 's first term.

He is not the reason our Health sector has not been revamped.

He is not the reason Minimum wage is yet to be paid, some months after it had been put to law.

He is not the reason petrol is sold at #145 per litre.

Yes, he has his downs too. Delay in Budget approval, budget padding, distractions, amongst others characterised his administration. But LET EVERYMAN TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR WHAT HE HAS DONE.

BUKOLA SARAKI is not the reason your children pay #250,000 tuition fee and he is not the reason you are being owed salaries.

I have reservations for some of his actions, but this is Democracy. He is a Nigerian. He has right to aspire for any position. As he bows out, he should not be undermined. Sometimes, it is good to fail, so as to have a re-think, restrategize and return stronger. Good Politicians don't die until death comes knocking.
