Since the commissioning of the Nike / Neke / Ikem road in 2013, it has never witnessed the volume of Vehicular traffic as today! The quiet town of Ikem in Isi-Uzo Local Government Area also witnessed a marmot crowed who came to grace the flag-off ceremony of Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi's governorship campaign. As early as 9am all roads led to Ikem, the LG headquarter of Isi-Uzo LGA the venue of the State PDP campaign flag-off. Party faithfuls and other well wishers thronged the venue to cheer their sons and daughters as they received PDP flags to contest for various offices come February 2015.

Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi will be slugging it out with Chief Okey Ezea (Ideke) of APC who will be making his "third missionary journey" having attempted and lost to the incumbent, Gov. Sullivan Chime in 2003 and 2011 elections respectively.

With the massive and unprecedented support being shown to Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, the PDP campaign will merely be a consolidation to ensure that no stone is left unturned in ensuring a landslide victory for Gburugburu come February 28th, 2015.

The campaign train will move to Nkwo-Nike, the Enugu-East Local Government headquarters on Tuesday January 20th.

We can authoritatively reveal that Hon. Tahill Ochi led Enugu State Unity Forum is packaging another show-stopper rally go drum support for the governorship candidacy of Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi. Though the full detail of the mother of all rallies is yet to be made public, Enugu wil surely be on stand still on that very day. You may recall that Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi floored all the other contestants at the December 8, 2014 PDP primaries held at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium. However, the Senator Ayogu Eze-led faction is singing a different song having held their own rally at a private hotel in New Haven Enugu.

The matter is however pending in Court and we are sure Gburugburu will emerge victorious.

Saturday October 18th 2014 was a remarkable day as seasoned professionals and supporters of the consensus candidate for PDP - Hon Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi gathered from across Nigeria at the Royal Garden Hotel in Enugu. In his opening speech entitled - THE SEARCH IS OVER, the National Chairman of the Enugu State Unity Forum - Bar. Tahil Ochi stated that after several months of continuous search for a credible replacement for the high-performing Governor - Bar Sullivan Chime in the forthcoming gubernatorial election in 2015, the people of Enugu-North Senatorial Zone where the governorship candidacy was zoned unanimously adopted Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi on Sept 28th, 2014.

Following the unanimous adoption of Hon. Ugwuanyi as the PDP governorship candidate, the search for a replacement for Bar. Chime is over and done with.

Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi is a three-time member of the House of Representative - representing Igboeze/Udenu Constituency. He is the Chairman of the House Committee on Maritime and a consummate Insurance professional.

Hon. Ifeanyi is as good as the next governor come 2015 because Enugu is a PDP dominated state with little or no opposition.
