see normal normal i don't respond to quote when I comment here in Nairaland but let me tell you something nobody says CR7 hasn't accomplished and his not successful..... Ronaldo at his prime was a good player.... Pls telling me someone his playing in Saudi league, MLS, China league etc all this league are retirement league if it sure for him why him no wait for Juve or Man utd and compete? Check all those players that when to Saudi and pls give me there ratings.

Don't you get it, he has competed in those other big leauges and been the highest goals scored for a season in them.

He came to Saudi Leauge and broke the existing record. Meaning every league he has played in, he been the highest goals scorer for at leat one season.

So you can't call his achievement inferior ( trying to say he could not do it elsewhere but did so only because the leauge is inferior) , when he has done it everywhere he played.

But we keep shut about things like this alot in Nigeria. The military are not constituted to have direct power on civilians but to the government.

Whatever act was taken against the officer, giving the police a chance to investigate properly and by now those culprits would've been arrested.

Nigeria is not a normal country. It is almost as if the civilian government is in power because the military permits it.

So who do we believe.

Musician .............Olodum

Or

African Tradition.....Olodum

So abeg..educate me..

Make I first pretend sey you normal.

Olodum is a drumming band in Brazil named after the yoruba Supreme being named Olodumare"

The T shirt Michael Jackson wore is of the band.

In the US people with disabilities are automatically placed on welfare and catered for by the society...everything is given them to ensure the live lives as best as their abilities permit.

Nigeria is a tough one. Our own version of Religion looks down on the down trodden and weak members of society and look for ways to oppress and exploit them.

They promised them respect in their community, power to get whatever they wanted, access to men of influence, and the love of women and a brotherhood of brothers at their beck and call in the day of trouble.

They did not tell them they were signing up for a stressful, dangerous life that would truncate their dreams and destinies end up in being fed to the gods that are thirsty for blood

The band’s first LP was called “Egito, Madagascar” and was recorded in 1987, and became famous with the song “Faraó, Divindade do Egito”. The idea of this LP was to honor the roots of the group and show to the country "Mamma Africa," and to show, too, how the group was born (from the drums to the influences of African Gods).

For you mind now, English Premiership, Spanish LA Liga and Italian Seria A are also lands of the blind.

Guy, that you are not the fan of a player does not mean you will loose your sense of logical reasoning and start spewing irrational statements.

I am not a fan of Ronaldo but I can't deny that he is an extremely successful and accomplished player.

My dear I don't think you understand what the Pandora papers was all about.

Pandora papers only leaked names of rich and powerful people in the world who own shell companies in tax free Island countries. They didn't say they stole anything.

Peter Obi became very rich at a very tender age right from when he was a student at UNN, even the current Sultan of Sokoto who studied in UNN was Obi's tenant. Obi was already collecting rent and selling commodities as a student and I believe this affected his academic grade he used to graduate from UNN because you cannot serve two masters at the same time.

Pandora papers only said Obi registered a shell company in one of the tax free Island countries in his daughter's name, they didn't say he stole and at the time he opened the shell company, he hasn't joined politics, he hasn't governed Anambra state, he was just an ordinary entrepreneur looking for how to minimize tax on his investment portfolio.

And I strongly believe he opened the shell company when he wanted to join politics and needed to save his earned income in a country where it won't be taxed as he shutdown his business in London to join full time politics. You don't expect him to keep it in UK where it will continue to be taxed till it gets to a zero level, so he needed to safeguard his income.

But in the same Pandora papers, they leaked how Tinubu's son who had no visible business as at then acquired millions of pounds worth mansion that Nigerian government seized from a corrupt Nigerian government official under Buhari and the property got resold to Tinubu's son through former Osun state Governor Oyetola who happens to be Tinubu's cousin. You didn't see the real crime committed by the man you support, it is Pandora papers talking about an ordinary businessman having a shell company in a tax free nation which he opened before he even joined Nigerian politics.

Na wa oh, I no understand some of you Tinubu's supporters at all shocked

Those are the kind of really ignorant and deliberately malicious people you share the country with and you wonder why the country is in a mess. Na before before I dey pity Nigerians so tey I go dey dash like 90 per cent of money wey I suppose take flex whenever I visit.

Well sha, my last visit after last election, my compassion mindset don reduce drastically. Many Nigerians deserve the pain and suffering they get from their leaders. Most of them are just religious dem no get one single fear of God.

Na opportunity dem no get, if dem get opportunity they will do worse than those in power now.

A declaration is after the fact. Wether they do or don't the actual statement of fact predates the determination and declaration.

My moral compass does not require the law to tell me right from wrong....that is why I don't get into trouble with the law and don't feel bound by it.

Even where there is no jurisdiction and the court assumes jurisdiction, and where there is no locus but the court acts as though there is, every pronouncement of a court remains sacred until and unless it is set aside on appeal, no?

I do not know the details of procedure. But I do know if you have no jurisdiction over a matter, then your judgement was and will be null and void.

Blame politicians. A judge interpretes the law of the land/state. The governor and every other person is still subject to the interpretation of the law by the courts when an aggrieved person challenges the execution of the law by the governor.

A court must also have jurisdiction to adjudicate on a matter brought before it, just as a plaintiff must have the locus standi to bring a petition before it.

Their problem isn't marriage, their problem is harsh economy of Nigeria under APC leadership since 2015, and made worst under the known drug trafficking looter since 2023.

Even my small company's revenue/profit have dropped drastically since this year, all thanks to Tinubu's thoughtless economic policies, and I thank God I diversified into various other businesses and still diversifying to maneuver through this Tinubulation period, if not, na so I for don lean pass my current slim fit stature and people like you will start blaming my amazing, super angelic wifey that even brought more joy, success and class into my life grin

So don't blame marriage for their current life struggles, Nigeria under Tinubu's government has not been favorable to most Nigerians into legitimate businesses.

The greatest challenge men experience in marriage that drain them are:

1.) financial problem
2.) inability to have kids

if these two issues are not present in a man's marriage, believe me, the man have no issue at all, every other issue can be taken care of or even overlooked or managed.

Another thing that drain men in marriage is taking care of kids (age 1 to 6yrs) if he and his wife doesnt have relatives to come around and unlucky to find a help/nanny, and this becomes worst if both wifey and hubby are working full time. If you haven't stayed with 2yrs to 5yr old kids alone in the house, you will never know that children are a hard nut even though they are adorable lolz

Oh; Thank you. I heard something like, Lalale Friday! Temi koba sunle o, Awo TV no mo wa, l

Also the Aro line you mentioned still survived beyond Jembe era but I doubt if it's still in use. Ogidiolu was the master of Aro when I stayed on campus. We know each other too, and he's political in term of activism. Not an all out activist but he's fond of it. He's also kegite member. Many beautiful memories in OAU. Only those who witnessed can understand. It's a school of the free and savage.

When we entered, Aro was part of the OT the Stalites gave us. Children of nowadays are way too sensitive to survive such extreme banters without caving in, and resorting to violence, so i wont be suprised.

Aro is still helping me till today as I use it to entertain my family ensuring their is no dull moment with them. I still infuse it with maturity on public speeches, at work and other places to break the ice and just make people more relaxed before serious meetings start.

Shut up. I am not responsible for your bad choices that has made you a total failure at your old age.

Merely pointed out that for a geriatric almost 50 you are rather rambunctious and it's really appalling that you had to mention OAU.

Stop being a disgrace because you failed at life I have a lot of mentors who are alumni that did well.
Take your maladjusted mental deficiency off this forum and don't mention OAU on your self depreciating embarrassment you display here..

The fact I had to break this down for you shows how stupid you really are sir.

No offense

PS: you so called likes who reminisce on this forum are likely failures too.

Otherwise why bring alumni matters here ? Are you unfamiliar with all the alumni official channels?

You are really sick in the head and blind in the eyes. The post is about the damage to an iconic building that has many memories for any OAU student dead or living no matter the era.

Everyone I mentioned in my post had something to do with the OAU amphitheater. It was and still is the center of ALL major activities on campus.

Major Religious events, Social events, Political events, Academic events such as large PHL 101 lectures, everything big na amphitheater.

Sit your ass down and keep quiet with your inferiority complex.

Stupid fool that is bragging about having a linkedin profile. Arindin omo. How shallow minded can one be. You that need to smoke to escape from the harsh realities of your life, you dey make noise.

You dey brag dey brag, dem give you small test to show sey you get doings, you begin bleat like sheep.

Like I told you before you have been weighed on the scale and found wanting. Always remember that.

As a father you have failed your children by being distant from them. As a husband you have failed your wife by living far away from her and not being available to take care of her needs. And if you feel like crying today. You will cry last last after that igbo clear for your eye.

I know why you are passionate about DNA for your children. I understand your insecurity and won't dig futher into that...not because of you but because of your wife who no know sey her husband na clown.
