Another commander. I think the USA and Israel are unnecessarily obsessed with personalities. They should stick to degrading the terrorist infrastructure of the enemy more. Their drone, missiles, warheads, communication, utility. Supplies from Russia, Chna, NK.

Nyen nyen nyen... Mr Poverty Reduction....You don't know that your Poverty is ultimately tied to your having to answer to these people?

Having to play their game?

Your type are so used to subservience to the west that you see it as normal and a matter of course. But it's actually by dropping your subservience like China, through inter alia, a powerful military, that you get rid of Poverty.

Because with military confidence, your economic policies become more nationalist and bolder against imperialist demands.
Embezzlement, mismanagement, tribalism, incompetence is not the problem?

He has absolutely no point to score by revealing this to the public. The story sounds credible
It is image laundry.

Let us concede for the sake of argument that the house money itself may not be g money, but he himself is steeped in it.

The philosophy of the teams he plays for supports the repatriation of " stolen wealth" back to the colonies.

I dont believe his story one bit.

Don't confuse yourself here trying to reframe the entire situation!!!

Name calling from someone who has genuinely run out of substance.

Continue to prioritize endurance over accountability.
You still dont get it do you.

You dont know what you want.

You are hell bent on proving someone is wrong and should be dealt with instead of getting a workable solution to the real problem on ground.

Anyone who says you should let go,you begin to fight the person...meanwhile they would have helped in sorting the real problem which is the money you need.

After more than three weeks you are still fighting while the real problem remains unsolved.

I've been on this forum since 2007 at least and have seen all sorts of people. You would easily have gotten way more than you needed from those telling you to let go and forget about the pastor ...but na lie you want to ensure that you get justice.

You think you are the first person to have been promised, believed the promise and abandoned your original plans only to get disappointed with devastating consequences? You think it wont happen again in your dealings with other human beings?

It is a fact of life and you learn your lessons and move on and channel your energies to more productive outcome.

Even AI will replace handwork too. Just be smart thats the only way to compete with AI.

Sales personnel are the ones who i think their job will be hardly replaced by AI, because of the human touch involved.

AI will respond faster to any query by your kids faster than any teacher known.

AI will still take over those jobs; they get trained to do so, and they are very logical in it.
AI is just like Crude Oil and Electric vehicles. It will be managed and contained because of the political and economic impact on human beings.

People must work.
And AI has its limitations.

AI cannot determine who hit who first when deciding how to settle a fight between children.

Very soon people will start burning data centres of these AI companies.
Btw, I already suspect this AI thing is a hype and would deliver far less than promised. Most investment will go to nought because expectation on AI is too theoretical to be pragmatic.

AI doctors, AI surgeons, AI nanny, AI soldiers, AI this, AI that. U can imagine some tech companies even boasted of AI teachers that will replace real human teachers in classroom.

Ordinary AI driverless car they can't fix and it's more than 10 yrs they launched self driving car. My wife has to abandon it since it's always driving her to abandoned roads, recently a self driving tesla wanted to drive the owner into the river.

No doubt AI will perform well with tasks primarily within the digital environment, require information handling, or rely on repeatable decision-making. So long as there's no complexity and those jobs are not influenced by deep human interactions. AI will excel in these areas because computers are its native environment.

Beyond that, I don't see anything AI want to change in fields of physical labour or complex human interactions. I doubt even robotic AI can impact much.
Best comment i have read on this platform in over ten years.

I agree with everything you said.

Make my kids disturb this AI with question and reporting each other to me for one day alone...it will refuse to comment again.

I use generative AI a lot..but I see it more as a tool for effectiveness and speed, instead of it independently taking over human jobs.

I managed three teams " simulation, virtualization and test automation " doing their bit with over 30 other teams in building ADAS level 5 software.

Me I can never seat in a driverless car...ever. The complexity of the whole enterprise is guaranteed to fail.

I lost interest in the whole enterprise after 3 years and moved onto something that adds more real value.

Pray against death. Proclaim length of days over your life.

Those people could not talk to you because you are not on the same vibration. In their world words are needless as they can understand each others thoughts.

You were a living being among the souls that had transitioned already.

Not a good dream and the psalm 88 actually confirms the next step for you.

Pray the words of that psalm and speak life into your life

Some very funny replies so far. I'll use this here post as an illustration.

Ironically, your opening line here was the smartest thing you produced in this riposte, and you promptly ignored its counsel. A rare moment of self-awareness, swiftly executed and buried. What followed was a masterclass in saying the loud part loud while somehow still missing the entire point - leaving behind a comment that reads as simultaneously devoid of empathy and remarkably ill-informed, a combination that ages about as gracefully as warm mayonnaise. You see, this is often what you get when you conflate being blunt with being wise, and then decide to moonlight as an unsolicited life coach. Nigerians have practically institutionalized this particular brand of cynicism-disguised-as-counsel. But before I get to the meat of this response, I'll start by highlighting the legal absurdity here, front and center:

Actually, mate - in most functioning legal systems, a promise that causes someone to materially alter their course of action to their own detriment is called a promissory estoppel and it absolutely can create liability. Not only did she receive a promise, she literally abandoned a viable legal remedy because of it.

So the pastor's promise is unenforceable, but the dead father's curse is still fully operational? That's some interesting theological selectivity. Apparently, the supernatural is only valid when it's working against you.

This line is where I had to physically set down my beverage. Completely unverifiable, completely irrelevant, and delivered with the casual cruelty of someone who thinks they're being refreshingly honest when they're actually just being foul.

Now - and I'll be fair here - buried somewhere in the labyrinthine rubble of your reply is one recoverable point:

Yes, chronic oversharing of vulnerability with the wrong people is tactically dangerous. That's true. Predators do use disclosed pain as a targeting system. Fine. Valid. One mark in the ledger. But the delivery method chosen here was to essentially tell a woman who got stranded, threatened, and gaslit by a man of God that her character is the problem. Not the fraud, not the institutional cover-up, but the victim herself. Victim-blaming at its most blatantly shameless if you ask me.

That's all? After paragraphs of speculation about her mother's fidelity and her father's curses? This is arguably the most damning indictment of your staggering lack of self-awareness. It's a toss up between this and when the pastor told her not to become a prostitute while refusing to pay rent he promised. Not sure which is less self-aware at the moment.

And this is yet another problem with religion. Certain religious structures create the perfect ecosystem for exactly this - a hierarchy where authority is sacred, accountability is optional, and the vulnerable are perpetually told their suffering is a spiritual character flaw rather than someone else's actionable misconduct. And you've exemplified this problem rather excellently with this post.
Once again, you displayed plenty of knowledge without any iota wisdom.

The girl, her father, the pastor, and the church administration are all a bunch of nasty people.

You can report my account for ban again.

CelebritiesRe: Funke Akindele Cut Me Off After I Told Her I Completed My House — Yomi Fabiyi by otipoju(m): 12:13pm On Mar 30
maasoap:
Well, let's ask Mr Yomi if he ever told Funke that he was building a house because this is very common with Nigerians. They would call you their best friend but would never share any information about their ongoing project with you because they don't trust you.
We don't know if Funke felt betrayed because you can't be friends of many years and just come out of nowhere to inform her that you have completed your building. The best decision is to cut you off because you are actually not a good friend if that's the case.
Imagine you and your best friend talking on the phone for many minutes and 48 hours later, he just called you from abroad, permanent relocation. This is mentality and attitude of majority of Nigerians which I can never understand.
It is a double edged sword. I think there is a general mindset that until you achieve your target, you dont share that information with anyone who is not directly involved in actualizing it.

It may not be out of distrust for the particular person but between close friends, it hurts deeply.

I know someone like that who bought a house and only told his friend and his friends wife after they had moved in.

It hurt them so much that the friendship died with bitterness among them.

Even me now I had to give someone that we talked closely some space. Why some very big achievements would happen in his life and I wont even know about it at all, meanwhile I share a lot of deeply personal stuff with him.

We have spoken in a while of which I know I can't really share anything worthwhile with him anymore.

Richtaiwo:
This is one of those amusing training programmes you attend, only to end up blaming yourself for showing up in the first place. They often promise capacity building and professional development, but in reality, they amount to little more than a poorly structured exercise that wastes everyone’s time.

My organisation has sent me to several of these workshops, and the honest truth is that the only tangible benefit I derive from them is the allowance, hotel accommodation and transportation. Beyond that, there is nothing of real substance, just an elaborately organised waste of time disguised as professional development.
Training that can be done virtually if they are really intentional about teaching.
