Two days ago, I flew into the Abuja airport and my stomach was rumbling because of the ice cream I had taken the night before. But at that point, I had two options:

a) Sh!!t in the airport toilet
b) Sh!!t in my pants

I chose the 2nd option

That's how bad the state of the airports are. I'd rather do it in my pants than enter the toilet. And this is even Abuja airport.
Port Harcourt airport is a no-go area.

Very good tutorial there. I successfully did mine for SGS a few minutes before coming here and it followed exactly what you described. However the Glo internet connection is no longer working. What could have happened?

I noticed the following difference in my version results compared to yours though I dont know if yours is a SGS also or whether it even matters.

Baseband version: I9000JXJPD
Kernel version: 2.6.32.9 root@SE-S606 #73
Build no: FROYO.JVJPF

I must tell you guys that I have never seen any phone that is amazing as the SGS!!! I am very happy to have one.

well well well! tht phone is something else innit ,
this is a guide on upgrading to froyo, **mind u, I haven't done mine maself**, according to my Samsung outlet where I got mine, am to wait for another week so they do it for me, since am on a warranty , if I do it maself and something goes wrong they won't replace it, so am waiting and like urself I juz can't wait
all the same here's the step by step guide, enjoy wud try and add images but unfortunately I don' know how to add images under typings so I'll post the steps seperately(waste of space)


Here is the step-by-step guide on how to upgrade Samsung Galaxy S firmware from Android 2.1 Eclair to Android 2.2 Froyo.

1. Make sure your PC is connected to internet.

2. Launch Kies and update it’s software by clicking on drop-down arrow –> Update. Restart PC if needed.

Difference I've notice so far on the SGS

- It's faster
- U.I improvements
- Mobile AP now supports up to 5 PCs/Devices
- Disabling data services now very handy
- Voice activation for everything. Making calls, browsing, searching, maps, etc
- Take snapshots without the need for any app

interesting deal, but the Iphone is much more expensive than the Galaxy S(for wht reason, I juz can't tell till now ) so I guess am following the crowd, tho I had it a bit cheaper, if u really want it, am gonna sell it to u @ just 1,100 Cedis, don' know how much tht is in Naira, btw its a 16gig-unlocked, I tried posting some pix, seems they too big, will keep on trying tho
