forgiveness: Wow! For the past two years, I have been thinking about this movement but unfortunately I can't be involved in politics due to the rules of my job.
However, I commend those who summoned courage to initiate this movement.
I hope it becomes a success. I would advise you identify some regular monikers in the political sections and bring them on board.
Besides, I suggest that election should be carried out here to elect the executives of the party. Once that is done, you will see many youths interested in this movement.
They want to see transparency before they give their trust in this movement. that's what we will do. I will create a new thread....where all members interested to be state coordinators and campus mobilizers will be asked to indicate their interest and then we do a voting using likes and shares. I love this recommendation. Welcome on board. Please follow our social media handles: Twitter @NYRP3 Instagram: @nigerianyouthrevolutionparty |

In Nigeria, youths are seen as inexperienced to handle political office! In Nigeria, young person can never dream to become the president! In Nigeria, young person can never dream to become a senator! In Nigeria, young person can never dream to become a company manager unless it belongs to his/her father! In Nigeria, youths are only considered important during election campaign! omoharry: Guys, i had to move to the first page in this thread to know that there are serious mind at work here.Nice one Now my contribution.
From my own observation. The problem of Nigerian is cause by the faulty foundation upon which this country stands on .The country is standing on the wrong structure..it is standding on suppress aggrieves various ethnic group who are still bitter and and suppressed by the faulty Nigerian system. For us to make progress and to remove all sense of bitterness and mistrust among Nigerians ..We must first of all heal the land.Yes,,we might want to sweep all the massive injustice done by one tribe against other tribes in past which is the reason why there is this unfinished flow of hatred, mistrust and bitterness in the land.in your new Nigeria..there must be room for healing and restitution.. There should be an avenue for offenders to to reconcile with aggrieves ethnic group for conciliation....if not this hidden atrocities will always raise their urgly head no matter how we try to rebrand Nigerians. After this healing process..any substituent atrocities committed by a group of people against another group where there is lose of lives must face a persecution for justice for the aggrieve group. Thirdly, competence ; efficiency and upright moral code should stand tall as one of the party's first requirement in selecting Nigerian leaders .This must be considered first before other factors such as tribal and religion.
Last and not the least..Religion should be made silent in the affairs of government. let the everyone practice their religion which ever way deem fit privately and should not be made to interfere with government activities..religion has brought more death, confusion and division in Nigeria than any other factor. Nigerian Lives should be made supreme and every Nigerian should be treated with fairness and justice at all time. I think this will do for now.my one coin highly commendable. All these will be among our party long term goals when we officially launch out. Well written, filled with wisdom. This is why we need every Nigerian youth to join us and bring their individual ideas on how to move Nigeria to greatness. We need all youths to be a part of this so we can together put our heads and chart a new, better Nigeria for our future generation. I really pray God in His infinite mercy allow us witness a better Nigeria in our time. We deserve it. We have suffered a lot in our own land. Why must a Nigerian youth travel outside the country before he or she can become successful? Its sad. Its really sad that Nigerians can't succeed in their fatherland unless they travel to other nations and do demeaning jobs just to survive. God please have mercy on us and hear our humble cry. Hear the cry of your youths and grant us our solemn request. A lot of innocent people have been killed in Nigeria, a lot have died due to poverty and lack! Insecurity is now everywhere in Nigeria, God have mercy and heal our land. Grant us victory so we can together build a nation that will exalt your name and not commit all manner of evil things as seen today. Thanks again omoharry |

daclemx: I WILL CONTINUE TO REPEAT IT. IF WE ARE NOT MORE THAN A MILLION, REGISTERING NYRP WILL BE A DEATH TRAP FOR THE GROUP AND MOVEMENT. TRUST ME. POLITICIANS WILL START INCITING THEIR COUSINS AND BROTHERS TO COME UP WITH NEW GROUPS TO DISCOURAGE US AND MAKE US LOOK LIKE JOKE TO THE OUTSIDE WORLD. WHEN PEOPLE START SEEING DIFFERENT GROUPS, THEY WON'T TAKE US SERIOUS AGAIN. IN FACT, WE DON'T NEED FRONT PAGE ON NAIRALAND. LET US GAIN THE LOYALTY OF NIGERIANS AND MILLIONS OF YOUTHS BEFORE WE COMMENCE REG. IT WILL TAKE TIME BUT WE WILL GET THERE.....MUST BE MORE THAN 1 MILLION. BEFORE 2018, IF WE WORK HARD WE CAN INFLUENCE A LOT OF THINGS IN THIS COUNTRY. EVEN DOWN TO LOCAL GOVT ELECTION. ANYBODY FROM THIS GROUP THAT WE ARE SUPPORTING COLLECTIVELY WILL REACH AN AGREEMENT TO DELIVER WHAT HE OR SHE WAS ELECTED TO DO. WE WILL HAVE A VOICE AND THEY WILL LISTEN TO US. you are too patriotic than anyone can imagine. Highly spirited. I endorse this. We need the number at all cost now. We need mass publicity and mobilization of other youths from all parts of the country. Youths are the majority and the driving force in Nigeria, we can do this if we can agree to walk together with one mission and one goal. |

daclemx: Let's not attack anyone. We don't have time for that. And at ourchoice, Lindabon and other comrades. You guys are awesome. I want to throw a challenge, so I have decided to bring it up here first for deliberation.
The challenge will be a target. From next week, every member will be asked to bring at least 100 persons. Imagine 500 x 100 = 50, 000
Some of us have more than 1000 friends on facebook, in fact, this will happen by the end of next week. I am throwing it open here for deliberation. And we will celebrate those who complete their task in the group. What do you think?
Then the next stage would be 50,000 x 100 again = 5,000,000
Everyone would be tasked....?
THIS IS MY SUGGESTION. I WILL COMMENCE IT ON THE FACEBOOK GROUP NEXT WEEK IF THE HOUSE BUYS IT......... Endorsed and approved, please let's try this great challenge. |

WHAT DO SAY OURCHOICE AND OTHER COMRADES??..WE ARE JUST OVER 200 MEMBERS NOW ON FACEBOOK...WE SHOULD HIT 10,000 OR MORE BEFORE THE YEAR RUNS OUT...IN FACT, WE CAN START ESTABLISHING OUR PRESENCE PUBLICLY WHEN WE HAVE GROWN.. highly supported. We need the number first and foremost. We really need to get every youth involved. Every member should be a mobilizer of his friends and family even side lookers. Let's mobilize every youth we know. I can fund the registration but registering NYRP isn't the most pressing need now....the most pressing need we have now is growing our membership. I don't want us to also rush and create the website without much publicity. I will contact the two members here who created a membership sign up form online and the other member who volunteered to create our website so they can work together to put the two together to catch members data's to be used for formalizing the movement. You are doing a great job here, you and lindabon, daclemx and many others I can't mention all. You guys are awesome, keep the spirit burning. shophut: To @ourchoice and all NYRP comrades,
The barriers have startedvshowing themselves like I envisaged. But we have to press on. We don't need to lose focus now though some bad elements want us to.
NO COMRADE of NYRP should negotiate with @RationalTV, from all indication he or she is here for a benefit which is money.
MARK MY WORDS if we incorporate this @RationalTV into NYRP we are all going to fall like pack of cards. That means our effort will have been in vain.
I want to re-emphasize here that ANY sensible Nigerian youth will shun monetary gains for now to pursue this just cause. @RationalTV coming here to state which position he or she wants in NYRP is an insult to all of us and to this just cause. "By their fruits you shall know them..."
We should ignore any pirated thread and focus on this journey. If @RationalTV is so popular like he said he should have become president by now...rather than look for selfish gains here. I will not sit and fold my arms and let him disorganised this movement. You might be a blogger some others here might be hackers...so be warned!
Dear comrades let's focus on the journey ahead of us. Share NYRP on your Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and every platform you find yourself...do not relent in your efforts. For comrades who are ready to volunteer as representatives please fill the form by following the link on page 6 & 7. I must warn here that this journey will be tough, so if you are afraid of being intimidated by the politicians please remain as a member because surely they will use all means available to hinder this movement.
It is time we start serious deliberations across all the geopolitical zones. Transparency will be our watch word and ALL representatives will be chosen after collation of data under the watchful eyes of every member of NYRP. #Nobodywillbehandpicked
@ourchoice please DO NOT negotiate with anybody if truly you want NYRP to succeed. We are all behind you and this movement. you have a good point |

timzyrhymes: For sometime now I've been going through this thread, comments after comments and I must commend 'NYRP" for the merging of amiable youths from different ethnicity and norms toward the eradication of the problems that holds us captive in ignorance without the purpose of scaling through to reach the zenith of our greatness. Our ‘so-called-leaders’ on different level whom most times found their way to the office without our consensus uses our money more than we use the toilet papers to invest outside the borders of this nation when the average brethren feeds with below 150 naira a day thereby creating more problems for me, for us . Look at we the youths, they have been given ‘forcefully’ the title ‘LEADERS OF TOMORROW’ yet the decisions of ‘next tomorrow’ are made by ‘yesterday leaders'’. I have had enough. Celebrities › Re: Daddy Freeze, Uti, Toni Payne Disagree With Timi Dakolo’s Post About Marriage by ourchoice(m): 8:54pm On Oct 25, 2017 |
The truth is, a popular or famous man ought not to get married in the first place or if he must marry, he should be allowed to marry at least 3 women of his desire if not, cheating must abound because women all over the world love famous and rich men and are ready to do anything to trap a rich or famous man, unlike men who somehow don't fancy rich women, except male gigolos and nodowells.
So any lady getting married to a rich or popular man should be prepared to hear that he is cheating. This has nothing to do with morality or religion, it is mans natural trait that every man will exhibit if not checked via religion and close marking from all angle.
So I think the major reason celebrity marriages dont last is all about infidelity and cheating, nothing more |

AgroLogistics: Good evening, Dear Comrades!
I'd like to commend each and everyone who has taken time to pledge support for this movement. This only follows that the resolve of the Nigerian Youth toward a better society has grown from a mole hill into a mountain. And this is quite remarkable!
The determination is strong and the fervor is palpable. It is my prayer that the hopes be kept alive even as the fire continues to burn.
For some reason, I'd like to point out the fact that, at times like these, quite naturally, various interests would always attempt to ride the tides of the moment and further their aspirations. Hence the births of various pseudo groups at such times.
It is important to note however, that there's really nothing new under the sun, it's never what you do but how it's done. Even in the marketplace, a million and one wares are offered, but it's what a buyer needs/wants that is bought.
Our concerns here should be how to control to the barest minimum the unauthorised access or outright "theft" as alleged by @Lindadon, of vital data, information and ideas from our sources by these pseudo groups. Because at the end, originality, clad in logic and reason shall prevail.
So, let's have in mind that, there'd be interlopers, detractors and even fifth columnists on this journey. My advice is to try not to unknowingly and unnecessarily glorify them. They have nothing to lose, but we are too determined (in our journey to the Promised Land) to stop and throw stones at every barking dog.
If anyone tells you that it would be as easy as walking into your bedrooms, pinch him/her back to consciousness. Some would get tired and weary, more would lose patience and cave in, still more would receive pieces of silver and sellout, but let it be known that reaching the destination is a big possibility.
I salute our courage thus far, even as we hone our doggedness.
#NYRP #NoViolence, #NoHateSpeeches, #NoGuns, #OneLove Well written. God bless you for this wonderful piece....we will keep learning and applying our collective ideas until we get it right and achieve our collective goal as one united Nigerian youths, thank you so much |

No one here has mentioned Christianity or any religion but you. No one here has asked to hold political power in their state or region but you. ^^This is what we see with the current political parties and we are tired of it. Its done way too much harm than good.
If anyone wants to hold any position, they MUST work for it. This is not PDP or APC. That's the reason for all the positivity on this thread. We are not here for ourselves or for power, instead, we are here to fight and die for this great nation. We are here for unity and equality. Bring your ideas and contributions just as everyone else here is doing at this initial stage. It may not be too late to be part of this movement. But if you want to work with us, you have to do so SELFLESSLY.
