emmanuelpopson: Its like you were in my dreams everyday as I weep and sympathies with Nigeria... all what you are saying are what I fear may happen which I told my friends that if nothing is done with Nigeria,we gonna end in a cesspit... I was glad when I came across this thread online... I am 1000% in support of this dream to seeing Nigeria return to its glory...my only fears are I would not like to see it hijack by some group of people afterwards... experience is the best teacher.. I was in a movement of this nature before and it was hijacked by some politicians...they bribed the youths and all were bought.... so that non could stand up to defend our common goals...I have so many things to write.. but time isn't available here...you have my support and I'm ready to see this come to reality... Oh my dear brother, welcome on board. God willing, we must bring that desired change. The only reason we will fail is if we decide to fail. Let's all remember that this movement is beyond me....it is not about me but about our dear country Nigeria. If tomorrow my spirit dies down about this, I urge and challenge you all never to give up this mission and please carry on with this mission in unity and integrity. We must avoid every form of tribal bigotry and religious intolerance. We are one youth with one mission! Guys we need to follow our Twitter handle now to give us a social media boost. RationalTV: . Hmmmmmmm just don't know what to say now. Ourchoice you have just healed my pains. NYRP's members caused me confusioned in my endeavors. No matter how hard I tried to convince them that my motive in this movement is clean. And mybody language speaks the same with NYRP, they still believe am a fraudster trying to defraud myself. I said myself because if I am against this move I am against myself, my family and Infact my generation. Do you know the kind situation I am in ?? because of this government. If I tell you , you will cry for me :') I don't mind getting killed, I don't mind risking the life of my family just to actualise this dream. Just to achieve this movement. . Ourchoice lemme tell you one thing, not everybody pushing you , applauding you for this movement is going to stand when it finally starts. Remember the word we are using here is REVOLUTION IS not just a word to pronounce. But the one to act towards. We don't need guns , knifes , or bombs. All we need is to use our Brain and be Rational. . I will make sure that RYFFRON and NYRP achieve their aim of convincing we, nigerian youths to know and follow the truth. . Once again thanks for recommending my platform. Massive advert about RYFFRON is going on online since yesterday by members from all corners of the globe. I will also include NYRP in my adverts. Please email me all the social media handles. So far, RYFFRON have gained 300 members on the facebook group and 45 members on the website RYFFRON.22web.org . Please lemme tell you this, forget about the small members you have now. They will increase as time goes on . Note: Don't add anybody automatically in your facebook group or any other account. Because they might not be active. Because they might not know what the group is all about. Just invite them or advertise for people to join. . Again let me know if you need to create the website of NYRP. I will help to do that , my own RYFFRON.22web.org has already 45 registered members. Tell me if you need website like mine that people will register too as members. Though I am using this domain for now. Letter I will buy own domain. . No time to delay. 2019 is approaching, we have to kick off this move as soon as possible . okay okay. But we really don't need to run parallel movement with similar mission trust me, it will ruin the goals and make it look like another Nigerian youth failed project everyone is used to. We can merge the fan pages and you will become one of the admins. I am not scared of anybody hijacking our social media platforms and deleting them so long as the drive is there, we will create another handle....start again from here and still get to our destination. Once again I suggest you merge effort with us here and let's make this a reality. We have a long way to go...this is just the beginning. Don't think this is an easy task you can achieve so easily and swiftly. It requires a lot to achieve this. Will you be able to carry on with this movement in the next 18 months and beyond without getting tired if your expected result doesn't come as you expected Think about all these and let us know your final decision. Once again, welcome to NYRP, one youth, one goal, one voice! |

intrepid: We must not allow it to fizzle out. Let this move to Facebook where it can become more interactive and also shareable.
It'd be seen by more eyes and also for those scared of any error, be assured that there'd be mistakes but we pray it'd not be major, as to hamper the progress or, inspire any discouragement in anyone.
I urge that we move to Facebook and also create a hashtag. Let's post and tweet.
Anyone who brings up irrelevant, tribalistic or caustic behavior is taken out. The posts should be focused on the goals of this movement and a bold delineation of our problems bedeviling this country.
It should focus on bringing back the mojo of the youths, because I can bet you that many youths are simply hopeless. They no longer believe that anything good could come out of this country. They would take a long time to trust even this group or the movement and that's why any form of suspicious posts, persons or words must never be condoned.
My full support 1000% is for this movement welcome on board bro. We are already on Facebook. We have Facebook group presently, we be creating the Facebook page soon. Check the Facebook group and how to join on the first page of this thread. Our official Twitter handle is @NYRP3 and the hashtags we want to trend from today onward are: 1. #NYRP 2. #YouthsMustTakeOver 3. #YouthMovement We need more ideas to create more awareness and get more Nigerian youths involved. |

lindabon: We also have to ensure the right people are allowed to select the administrators of forums, groups and any other position. This will definitely make things more transparent. We need to remember that hardship makes people gullible. If we don’t keep an eye on who we elect to run things for us, we can still be infiltrated. Ask yourself, if offered a billion naira to destroy this movement, how many of us will say No? As we progress, they will use money to distract one or many of us.
For example; say I create an Instagram group page and one of this selfish politician buys me over, I will just close the group and delete the account, and that will be a blow, as we will lose our Instagram followers in that instance.
These things will eventually happen. So seeing the OP, is the starter of this movement, I advise that you take it upon yourself to do the initial selection. Then when you get enough numbers(maybe a small group of 10 trusted compatriots), the people you select can then join you in making decisions. Special thanks to everyone creating group pages on social media, but we need to still have checks to ensure that the people administrating these groups are incorrigible, unshakable in their belief in our country, and patriotic. If possible, no one person should have autonomy over the passwords of these groups created. This is not to undermine anyone, but rather to ensure that sycophants are not allowed to infiltrate and destroy this movement. Money can still buy a lot of Nigerians, thanks to all the suffering inflicted on us by our failed politicians. So let's ensure the right people are allowed to run groups and campaigns. awesome! How I wished many Nigerian ladies think like you, this journey would have been easier for us all because ladies have this aura that comes with them which can help us achieve our collective goals faster than we ever imagined. I will look into this issue you raised. Please invite your fellow female friends to join us. You are an amazing woman, a woman of substance in the making. Keep it up and stay blessed |

lindabon: @RATIONALTV You started off your second unoriginal thread by saying this:
I stumbled upon this newly formed organization and decided to raise alarm to alert the world what is going on in secret. According to their website (www dot his website is unworthy of posting on this thread), RYFFRON is a an organization which simply means Rational youth for future revolution of nigeria.
Now here you are saying: As for the website (again www dot his website is unworthy of posting on this thread) I am a web developer. I design websites. That is my job.
Yes, you are popular just like the present crop of failures we have as leaders today, and that's what this movement is about; stopping the lies and deceit of the bad eggs and failures, determined to drag this country to the ground. And no, you don't know the moderators, nor do you go out drinking beer with them as one of the topics you started about Biafra was closed by one of the moderators. No one cares if you are a Christain or not, if you lie, you are a liar PERIOD, irrespective of what religion you practice. Keep up with the lies and deceit but I can guarantee you that you are going nowhere stealing people's ideas on nairaland and I will keep coming after EVERY recreated thread you start with the idea of @ourchoice by letting other nairalanders in on your fraudulent ways.
But I won't discuss you anymore on this forum filled with positive minds of well-meaning Nigerians Hi Linda, let's work with him...what need now is unity to succeed in this. But then, we need honest youths with no hidden intentions or motive other than to collectively elect visionary leaders that will take Nigeria to an enviable height. What do you guys think about my suggestion |

RationalTV: I started RATIONAL YOUTH FOR FUTURE REVOLUTION OF NIGERIA (RYFFRON) hours after Nigerian Youth Revolution Party (NYRP) was created. The truth is that just like every other nigerians, I have been seriously having similar idea for four years but didn't know how to go about it until I came across NYRP I was motivated. Though to join. I made an attempt and I was ignored by the mastermind. I made a request as a social media marketer to be the official media publisher of this organization, but I was ignored. Here is the quote. Check the page 1 of this thread you will see it. . Then I saw that my opulent Offer wasn't accepted. I decided to move on. . I am actually 19 years old and dreaming to take nigerian youths to their promise land by the use of RYFFRON. Which must surely come to pass in Jesus name Ameeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeen. . Though I made a mistake for not given the real dude behind the idea of this movement a platform credit. . RYFFRON and NYRP is speaking the same voice and we stand on the same path despite the different title. I used Ourchoice terms doesn't mean I can't write mine. Just that I dont want the two platforms to speak different voices. . Using the words and the terms of Ourchoice's NYRP risked my platform and my life seriously. I was deadly threatened by a police division near my community at rivers state alongside with my community paramount ruler. They came across the post on facebook and is like someone reported me. And the worst part of it is that RYFFRON have been talked about on radio station Raypower fm Port Harcourt this morning. They issued strong warning to the mastermind of RYFFRON movement which I listened and wept. Seriously speaking since yesterday I can't even stay at home. I removed all my facebook pictures and details. My fellow youth What we are about to do is very dangerous. And can cost lives. . I deleted the thread here on nairaland because your comment made RYFFRON to look like a fraud or opposing party to NYRP. I am not and can never be a fraudulent. My main username on facebook is Mr Rational Laughter. I have a comedy group with massive fan base. So am not hiding my identity. I just wanna drive change to this hell we call country. . In just two days RYFFRON got recognized by the state. But I am not comfortable running the platform. Because of its risk. My manager warned me, did all his best to change my mindset and move on to something else but I refused. He went ahead reporting to my parents. Yet I still refused. All I know is that RYFFRON whether dead or Alive. RYFFRON must take nigeria youth to their promise land. it is not late my brother. I didn't see your comment believe me. And I want to apologize on behalf of every other member of NYRP here. And we are fully ready to work with you and make you our official social media manager and more. So join us now. We need to work as one united force. Divided we will fall but united we will succeed. Send me a mail to: nigeriayouthrevolutionparty@gmail |

Baboski4real: Well done to everyone working on this so far. i think we should continue with the publicity. create more awarenes n take the message out there to the world from there we would also need to establish the numerical identity and how to reach ourselfs in communication anytime. i think in a week or so we should have enough numbers to work with.
If you guys have the time to check u can c in my post here on nairaland that i'v been preaching this all along. it is not going to be eazy but this is something we must work on. with the determination i have seen so far it is wonderfull.
lets be focus n avoid distraction or time wasting even by responding to certain comment. the most imortant thing is were we r heading to. our objective is to make history as collectable. as a people as a nation. let all support this course in anyway possible. I think the next phase will be appointing state, L.G.A coordinators and also we will need to form a caucus group for proper planning and coordination. The caucus committee will be drawn from the 6 geopolitical zones and we will ensure every major tribe is represented. This is why we need to invite our friends from the north, south, west and east to join. In the next few weeks we will be doing all that and more. We will soon launch our official website where members can register fully and where we can be giving out info about our progress but this thread remains our official thread for awareness. Once again welcome on board |

bellyjean: I am in full support of this initiative. We cannot continue to entrust our future and that of the coming generation into the hands of these scumbags. We must take hold of our future and it has to be now.
My own approach to this is that while we are raring to display and exercise our youthful strength and passion, we shouldn't overlook those core principles , virtues, understanding about life, people and a progressive society.
First of all, we have to soar above ethnicity, we should understand that it is by providence that we belong to whatever tribe or ethnic group we find our selves today and this doesn't make anyone of us less of a human. We should not let this define our perspective towards life, people and the society. We must learn to cherish and respect every Nigerian's lives and their inalienable right to life. Once we have these ingrained in us, it will guide us into religion, cohabitation, work, politics, all other things.
The elites know this and that is why it is a deliberate action to under develop the country, cause division among poor masses. There is a lot of bitterness, and resentment that these elites have successfully sown into us. So we must first be illuminated to see the deep and secret intents of these scumbags and afterwards we can be liberated .
Secondly, we must fully appreciate virtues such as accountability, honesty, leadership, selflessness, compassion, trust etc. These makes us more human than wealth and other material things.
Again we should realise that we do not inherit today from our fathers and previous generations but, we only borrow it from the future generation and we must pay them and that is why, our focus as a reformed youth is that we want to correct the errors of those greedy and shortsighted older generations to make our today pleasurable (the one they paid back with poverty and backwardness ) for us and also to build a better today for the coming generations. We cannot afford to repeat their mistakes. We must always give considerations to the future first. In fact I believe that instant gratification and satisfying the temporal hunger of the moment had brought us to this state of rot in Nigeria .
we must know that a call to leadership is a call to selfless service and sacrifice. Obviously our leaders lack this understanding and that is why we spend over 30% of the Nigerian budget on feeding those scumbags . As much as they would be given due compensation for heir services, they should know that leadership is not a circus party. Leadership without accountability and service gives birth to a North korea - like nation. And we don't want this .
There is more to write, but I rest my fingers at this point.
I believe the youths have all it takes to take hold our our future. We need a massive movement, we must target the young, enlighten them, and let them know that, truly and indeed the key to a better tomorrow lie in their hands.
@ourchoice, kudos to you. God will strengthen you and give you the needed courage, wisdom and other resources to scale up this initiative.
God bless his inheritance God bless his people God bless his nation God bless Nigeria. thank you so so much. When I read comments like this, it inspires me to do everything within my little strength to make this happen. Please I need all of your support and ideas. This is our collective idea and effort. Me alone cannot do anything beyond this thread and it will die down within few weeks but with the solemn support of people like you, we will make this happen and in no distant time, we will look back and say, yes we are among the youths that shaped Nigeria to our dream nation. Once again welcome onboard. eodavids: If you continue to show genuine commitment to this point you have originated here, you will surely gather support from well meaning young Nigerians, including my humble self.
Always remember that mutual suspicion has remained a threat to Nigeria's progress, so stand tall and do not allow your thread to be marred with suspicion. Encourage members who comment here to be straight and avoid hate speeches.
We will succeed! definitely there is no room for tribal or religious hatred or discrimination here. My only mission is to see a better Nigeria. Whenever I happen to visit some foreign embassies, I weep for Nigeria seeing how hopeless Nigerians have become to the extent Nigerians are ready to sell anything they have to raise money to migrate out of Nigeria. That shows that Nigeria is not working. We need to change these things so Nigerians can stay and prosper in Nigeria. We are so talented to be lagging behind in the comity of nations. It hurts |
