rubbish talk... Federal was APC when obaseki won 2nd term bid against APC... All Obaseki Had To Do Was WORK, If He had done all these cry for pity would not be necessary at all.. He knows he has failed as a governor.. I'm from edo state and I know this for a fact. I Careless About APC candidate also, but obaseki should keep quite he had his chance to work, which would have paved the way for his annoited predicessor.

I can see ogbiede ihiama actively campaigning for APC along with shuaibu and Wike and orbih doing the clean out from within APC.

Obaseki used this same people to get his second term but they have now all betrayed him.... The fight with the legacy PDP in edo was needless then you still pick fights with your deputy and even the revered traditional institutions..... Without these people there was no way oshiomole wouldn't have eaten obaseki raw in 2020 but here he is doing same thing he did to his benefactor.....I remember very well in 2020 in the run up to the elections when both parties were called to the oba's palace.....the oba manifestly inferred that he asked oshiomole in 2016 when he was still in uselu useh performing his coronation rights when he wanted to present obaseki if he was sure about his choice considering the antecedents of his family and oshiomole assured him on obaseki then.....but obaseki has never failed to disappoint anyone as regards his flippancy and betrayals.

From my findings from my Edo colleague she said Aisue Ighodalo is a better choice but Obaseki did nothing in Edo state and therefore spoiling things for him.

Me sitting on my native stool and in trance and consulting with one of our great formother Iyoba Idia is seeing the APC candidate Okpebelo wining this election.

Oshiobaba did excellently well in our state. Infrastructure, Education, Amenities, Transportation, etc.. Since he left, sadly Edo has never been same.

People are angry with Obaseki because of poor road construction, his fight with the Oba of Benin, his usage of outside the State contractors for project execution without patronising state contractors and his fight against party leaders. His candidate is the best for now but that might not win because of the sin of his principal.

Just as you are talking about Akwa Ibom, come check out Delta. Then check the difference (in that 13% derivation) between Delta and Akwa Ibom, the difference is huge yet there is absolutely nothing to show for it in Delta.
I know they have good roads to some extent in Akwa Ibom but pls come and see what is happening in Delta.
