please don't say this things, i remember asking a few questions when the Chinese contract was signed and when i noticed the overhauling of the Alcatel lucent evoliums, their BTS device and everything related, the installation contractors were not specific about the problem with, Alcatel they only said. That when adenuga noticed that Alcatel went ahead to install the same systems glo was at the time operating. And he noticed that after this installation the etisalat network was far better than what Alcatel gave glo. This prompted adenuga to revoke the contract with Alcatel. We now use Chinese ZTE LTE systems and so far i think they are better cus the Alcatel system consume too much power and are not as sophisticated and cheap as that of the Chinese

President mahama of Ghana begging the European union with fine speeches and grammar since 1901. Why didn't he just apply for a lecturing job in the university.
Santamafia. Making mockery of his president in a NigerIan site. If not for your government low self esteem why would he be giving a speech in an American university. Is that how jobless he is. Sometimes he will even visit our cross river state governor just to enjoy the hospitality of nigeria's most hospitable city and probably go back home with some of imoke's second hand suits and trousers. Yes that's how low that guys self esteem is. Will mahama ever organise a lecture for African universities, probably no. But when it comes to teaching American students he became the Dean of students affairs .

Ashantiking: Thank you, he may give great speeches and what not, but when it comes to actual work he is just as clueless as Goodluck.
believe me, despite the foreign investment influx and economic growth, we in Nigeria still believe that GEJ holds the monopoly in cluelessness i know of people that will fight with you here in nigeria if you say dey behave like goodluck. But that doesn't mean we wont be the on sponsoring Ghana's flight ticket to the IMF. That gas stuff really affected you guys didn't it?. Oh we re sorry we re tired of hearing mahama talk about the EPA agreement as if he really has anything tangible to export to the EU

The NigerIan space program is one of the most successful project we would see in this country. The NASRDA COMMAND AND CONTROL center is a beauty to behold, we now have our rocket launch facility at Epe in lagos state, were rockets are experimented upon by some of this nations brightest minds. To say that Nigeria is technologically backward in the face of this towering mountains of evidence to the contrary would be to lie in the face of truth.

Somebdy of ghanian origin must have been going through archives seeking for articles to prove that Nigeria also rely on foreign aid. The fact is that Nigeria may be reluctant to spend its budget on a space program hence it seeks for foreign intervention in that area. It should be noted that Nigeria having the most versatile space program in Africa is bound by this responsibility to expend more for maintenance.

BusinessRe: Us-africa Summit: US Firms To Invest $14bn In Africa by overhypedsteve(m): 2:18am On Aug 06, 2014
moneybag100: US President Barack Obama said US companies have pledged $14bn (£8.3bn) of investment in Africa in areas such as energy and infrastructure.

The announcement came at the first US-Africa Leaders Summit, attended by over 40 African heads of state.

The summit is an effort to strengthen US ties with Africa as China increases its African investments.

Mr Obama will also host a dinner for African leaders at the White House in Washington this evening.

The deals announced on Tuesday included a $5bn partnership between private-equity firm Blackstone and Aliko Dangote, Africa's richest businessman, for energy infrastructure projects in sub-Saharan Africa, as well as more investments in Mr Obama's Power Africa initiative.

According to the White House, Power Africa received an additional $12bn in pledges towards its effort to develop energy supplies on Africa through a mix of investment and state involvement.

The World Bank announced a $5bn investment in Power Africa and General Electric said it had committed $2bn to help boost infrastructure and access to energy.

"We gave it to the Europeans first and to the Chinese later, but today it's wide open for us," said General Electric chief executive Jeff Immelt.

Mr Obama also said that the US would offer an additional $7bn of financing through the Doing Business in Africa (DBIA) Campaign, bringing the total new US commitments to investment in Africa announced on Tuesday to $33bn.

The three-day summit ends on Wednesday.
