I got this tv from the seller sometime in April and I must say that I don't regret the buy. Asides the hiccups in the delivery, the tv ultimately got to me in perfect condition and I have enjoyed it all the way.

First hand experience sir. My current data plan is the so-called unlimited exclusive plan except you want to prove me otherwise with screenshots of your internet speed on the same plan.

It's about 4-5mbps. And yes, it's unlimited and no FUP but your speed will not exceed 5mbps. If you can deal with that, then you are good.

I think the price range for truly unlimited internet scares people away and the ones who offer cheap/affordable unlimited internet will throttle you.

Seems I've used 400GB plus this month alone, I don't download anything, Just streaming 4k/8k movies/videos.
You just have to make sure you get at least 20MBPS to really enjoy it.

The cost of true unlimited is really expensive. I presume you are on Swift wttx plan, prolly the 25mbps plan and that's some money there.

Oh, is that what you meant? If you believe FUP is activated the moment you sub, I'm afraid you're wrong. That's just Ntel being Ntel. It's why I said I was surprised people still use Ntel. What you're experiencing is the reason why a couple of us on this thread stopped using Ntel.

Ntel was wonderful bout a few years ago, but I had to intentionally misplace my sim after they developed certain issues out of the blue. Connection issues: slow speed (unlike standard throttling), frequent disconnections and difficulty subscribing. The Ntel I left and the Ntel you described are similar. Though, I'm not aware of their latest developments.

As to why it's like this, I believe it was due to some form of sabotage, either external pressure or from internal incompetence. For something that felt like a dreamy solution to internet problems in the country to just get decimated, doesn't sound normal.

Quite unfortunate for me then. And I took a break from Swift's unlimited plan with throttled speed at 5mps, thinking ntel was better �.

By the way, what unlimited plan are you on now/which do you recommend?

As for the speed throttling, last I checked, there's nothing you can do about it except subscribing for higher plans. Either their plans with no FUP or higher data threshold.

Even if there was FUP, shouldn't the speed be reasonable until the FUP threshold is crossed? The speed seems throttled from the moment you subscribe, never going beyond 5mbps...

Previously, the 25K plan was about 200Gb or so but currently, its not capped.

Its supposed to be uncapped for the festive season of 2020 going into 2021 but management hasnt reversed it since then. Also, the Unlimited family plan was previously 150Gb but is now 225Gb.

Whereas there's an unlimited exclusive plan that appears to be truly unlimited( no FUP or throttling) as indicated on ntel's website but I can't get to subscribe to it as the option doesn't show up when I try to subscribe.

Swift unlimited for 25k is not capped. However the download speed is capped at 5mbps. But you will be able to do what you wanted to do with your ntel. That's what I currently use.

Or have you found a decent alternative?
