I regret not applying for this. I was just 3 months into my NYSC and thought I wouldn't be done serving before the process was over. And I was told to apply here in this group . Well I wasn't serious with my life then. I'll be done serving next month. Is there any graduate trainee recruitment we should be expecting in the oil and gas sector soon? |

7 faceoftheweb: 1. I’d advise you look out for tech GT roles in some of these banks. They pay more and you’ll have some time to apply and prepare for those engineering roles when they come. Doing this also means that in a situation where engineering delays, you can still be building a reputable career in tech. 2. Consulting is more demanding and not as financially rewarding at the lower cadres like the GT and associate cadres.
Except you truly consider consulting as an alternative career path for you, those bank tech roles are better off. Thank you very much for the advise |

Stargurl20: Make a standard CV, start applying graduate trainee roles ( if you haven't already), start preparing for aptitude tests (using GMAT, SHL materials etc), start preparing for practical ways to scale through interviews ( I mean real practical ways). Interviews are not just means to emphasise things you can do. Most interviewers are more interested in things you've done, no matter how small they are. Just present and package them well. Yes, you're a fresh graduate, but you must've served somewhere, such as your PPA. What are your measurable achievements? e.g., I increased safety wears implementation by 85%, etc. No matter how small or irrelevant these achievements may seem to you, mentioning them especially for interview questions that requires the STAR method, may make you standout among your peers. They aren't expecting much from you, though. But do well to stand out Thank you very much. I've astarted applying for GT roles. Notable EY and KPMG. Still waiting for opportunities in the engineering sector |

afrodoc2: Of all the sins of Amorim his cardinal sin was playing his 3-4-3 which requires a 2-man midfield when NONE of our midfielders is suited to 2-man midfield. That was what made his set up dysfunctional and that was what led to our defence being under so much pressure.
Asking 2 men who can't do the job of 2 men to do the job of 3 men. Also the centre backs where confused alot in his system. They didn't know when to step up or when to stay. The mid CB In a 3ATB system is suppose to step up and act as a 3rd midfielder. Which begged the question, why not just play an extra midfielder. |

I haven't watched a united game in 2 months. That's how bad Amorim has made me fall out of love with the club. The truth is what made me fall in love with man united was the way we played. Our wingers and fast paced attacking football. Right now, I can't recognize my club.
Ineos needs to go. They don't have an idea of what they are doing. At this point sack this coach get one of the former players to manage the team no need to go Gung-ho spending. Integrate the youth then when we get to a point where we need to spend to get to the next level like Arsenal, we spend. If the manager at that point can't take us to the next level we get a better one. There's no quick fix here. Keeping the man longer will only prolong the inevitable. |

Leyqute: Subs were not that bad (3 in 72 min). The quality was what was bad. Cunha was seriously begging to be taken off with the rubbish he was playing. Casemiro was also being beaten in midfield anyhow.
Maybe he should’ve staggered the 3 subs. Maybe. But giving each sub 18 mins isn’t that bad that it should be the reason we concede.
That Ugarte na goat. You don’t need to be running around aimlessly to show that you can play. Mainoo sef can’t play there because he’s too slow and can’t sense danger. Everything is just scatter scatter. how about just adding numbers to the midfield and a change of shape. His problem is we must stick to the formation regardless of our position in the game. Be flexible a little bit. |

You guys should relax with the system creating chances. We create more chances from counter attacks and chaotic football which we often result to when team attacks us. Let's not act like the system has been creating clear cut chances. |

spillo1: You have not said anything that's relevant or connected to my post. Defending German champions also played away to a 2nd division team and needed a late goal to win despite having Kane, kimmich, Olise etc in their line up yet none of the Bayern fans are overreacting or asking for kompany to be sacked. They were also knocked out by a 3rd division team last season. It happens and it's not a big deal like some here are making it out to be. The two important games we have played this season we have been descent enough and only let down by our attackers. We should have gotten something from the Arsenal game and won against Fulham. If it was the Burnley game I would have understand but not an inconsequential carabo cup match were we started two teenagers in our backline. If kompany finished 2nd last season and was already struggling, they would have been calling for his head. Besides this is man united who cares about bayern. If bayern perform poorly in the champions league this season he's out. Bayern don't even use Bundesliga yardstick to judge their managers. |

odizeey: He's not a bad coach and there are records to back that up. What records. Portuguese league records? Because he never dod anything in Europe. Ten Hag was seconds away from carrying a young Ajax team to a champions league final. If you're not performing and not attempting to even fix it. You can bounce. We have made it look like he's doing man united a favor |

Let's see sha. Maybe he'll be flexible He is a bad coach. He has ego problems. He's seeing what we see but he doesn't want to admit is system is the problem. Ain't no turning this around. The problem started when we let him get away with loses last season. |

Sportsweb: It took Sir Alex Ferguson 5 years to get things right.
It took Klopp 5 years to get things right.
It took Arteta 5 years before he started competing for the league.
It took Pep 2 years & that’s because he had an unlimited budget.
Ruben Amorim deserves more time. Sir Alex finished 2nd in his second season. After man united were struggling 14th. Club didn't just give him more time. He earned it. We cannot blindly follow a coach hoping he gets it right. When a team keeps losing there will always be problems in the dressing room. Nobody likes losing. If you play football on the streets self this is normal, the losing team fights within themselves. |

odizeey: It's just funny. Let's be real abeg. With the way things are, any coach will come here and struggle. Chelsea didn't even need to sign Garnacho. But they signed him. Them dey sign for fun. Sign and send on loan. I think they also wanted to sign Ensicio from Brighton and send on loan. Laying foundation for a coach to come and work.
We neither lay foundation or support coaches with adequate results but we the fans will come and blame coaches. We just need to wake up. If Amorim is sacked we will still find ourselves in this same situation. The new coach might go back to 4-3-3 but will still find ourselves struggling to enter top 6.
With the way the board is moving, it's better to just stick to one coach that can do his rubbish till it works.
If they want to hire and fire, let them do it like others are doing it. This would make sense, if the present one is experimenting different set ups and styles until he finds one that works. Keeping an obvious bad coach will send man united to the relegation zone. This guy has been here since last year, we forget that. When a team is losing, you try and find solutions by changing the team, system until you find what works. But this guy does the same thing over and over again expecting a different result. |

spillo1: The Dalot and Maguire subs were understandable. Hard for me to blame the manager after we should have been 3-0 up in the first half with Cunha hitting the post, Leno save and Bruno missing a pk. Score those and the game is put to bed early on. Its Just a continuation of last season and the game vs Arsenal where again our attackers wastefulness let us down more than any managerial mistakes. Teams miss chances, it happens. Your ability to generate more or better chances is what matters |
