It mean plenty, fitness is very key. Didn't you notice how our players easy tires out in games, expecially in the second half. ETH should make fitness top priority too in his training programme....

VdB is good in a team that works with movements and positioning, that's his major strength. Hopefully we will see him shine under ETH

If you think the problem we had last season was a Dm and not a midfielder capable of keeping possession and able to keep the team ticking when pressed then I really pity you. Sir ole wanted to evolve our style of play and that was not possible with Brainless players like FRED,Mctom and especially Bruno in midfield. For example Pair Ndidi /Kante with Fred plus Bruno and nothing would have changed last season.

It's baffling that you read all what I wrote and deduced that I've written Bruno off oh. You can check my previous posts about this matter and you'll see that I've been consistent with same message of 'bruno needs to work on his ball retention' - a message which his worshippers no like to hear.

You seem to have me mistaken for someone who hates Bruno oh. And then again, I never really compared Bruno and KDB. I have never compared them.

Feel free to check my previous posts and point out the anomalies and contradictions because at this point I'm confused.

What's even more strange is how you're telling me about Bruno's struggle - like Idg how it's relevant to what I wrote.

There is nothing like Bruno poor display last season. The way Bruno played last season is the same way he has played since he came to United. The only difference is the amount of awoof penalties he didn't get like previous seasons to fool people like you. Technical ability zero, dribbling zero, sense zero.

Players who have good ball control in the squad are the ones most likely to benefit from ETH.

E.g. Sancho, VDB.

VDB has the advantage of knowing the system and is very good at it so, he'd thrive alongside other players who are comfortable on the ball passing and movement alike...

A midfield 3 of FDJ, VDB and Eriksen will see a lot of intricate plays between them compared to a Bruno who will quickly opt for a difficult ball in search of the striker...In all, VDB chances of starting depends on what ETH does with another potential arrival in Lisandro...

In ETH's system, it's VDB over Bruno regardless of the struggles of VDB last seaaon.

I like that there is competition in that position. Bruno was too petulant last season and his discipline fell off. I still don't see how VDB gets a starting shirt though he could be a valuable member of the team. With 5 subs per match there should enough opportunities for everyone.

He might have to settle for a shared role with Eriksen assuming we get all our targets and if ETH elects to play Lisandro as a DM then it's a battle between Eriksen/VDB/Bruno...I don't know who wins but I know who will lose out and it's definitely Bruno unless he modifies his game...
