Following the trend, briefing would be about September.
But I am on the faith side- my faith says August

I refused believing the negative things people said About this scholarship until a guy who scored 15 was invited for interview. He is from Akwa Ibom, I scored 22 from Akwa Ibom State too but I have not been for Interview. We stayed in the same Hotel, I heard when he was making those calls concerning his scores. I am so disappointed at NDDC, so APC can't be straightforward for once.

Hmm... did they adjust his scores?

If you haven't...
*Dress properly
*Make photocopies before you go
*Be bold/confident & polite(they may try to put you off balance)
*Know the basics of your course(Undergrad & Proposed)- General Year 1/2 ish, including definitions.
*The current affairs part isn't exhaustive - could range from your LGA, State, Nation, World.
Names/portfolio(past & present) of commissioners, ministers, governors, wives, athletes, entertainers, geography, history, etc..... Some examples of questions asked; (name miss Nigeria till date, 3 major Rivers in your State, VP's wife's full name, president of France, Minister of Finance, where is Stepes located, why is Childrens day celebrated, when naira was first introduced, 2nd republic Nigeria, apex bank in USA, Slaves that became prominent in Niger Delta, first Governor of your State, actress in Sound of Music, etc.

You just have to know everything(lol...) just pray they ask you what you know.

Congratulations to those who have received the invite, and also to people still awaiting theirs. This invite brings you a step closer to getting the award - whether you believe or not. I look forward to hearing success stories of people here.

This is my little tip for the interview:

Ensure you go with all documents stated in your invite - originals and photocopies. The photocopies should be at least two copies each, make extra one for your means of Id, as a copy will be required to get your transport allowance.

The interview usually consist of 7 - 8 panel of interviewers. They are from different fields of knowledge. Interviewees will be asked questions in their field as well as current affairs by any member of the panel. The current affairs is what usually throw people off guard. If you are the type who don't care about history and happenings in your environment, I beg you to do for the sake of this interview.

For instance: June 5 of every year is world environment day, and this day in year 2000 was when NDDC was established. Be conversant with dates - state creation in Nigeria, Civil war, World war; years of establishment of bodies like UN, AU, IMF et al. Names of Ministers serving in this dispensation and their portfolio. Meaning of acronyms of some agencies of government. Location of some prominent features in Nigeria and the world at large. Someone was asked where Orinoco basin is at a time. Festivals and Mountains in Nigeria. Geo-political zones and the states under each of them. There is no limit to what you can be asked. Just be prepared.

If you don't have NYSC certificate, I will implore you not to attend except you have a big man standing in for you. In all, dress properly.

For the selfie lovers, I bet you will have a field day - . The interview environment is what posh queens and kings will want on their social media pages. So keep your phone fully charged!

More like, if i have a degree in philosophy and i gain admission to study MSc International business with Law, am i eligible to apply for this scholarship or it is compulsory i have a first degree in Law?

Yeah, so.. Apparently they're asking us to come rewrite the exam this morning. But I have ptdf too to write this morning. What do I do? The ptdf is for 8 and this one is for 9.

Ptdf should be more organised so go there first while communicating with people this way.
We ain't sure what time we would write today because there are batches scheduled for today plus yesterday's ish

Management was messed up... Half of the questions were blank or didn't have options (had errors). The other half was mostly questions from journalism and communication, just a few from marketing and management.
Clearly they weren't prepared for the management questions. You needed to see scores... 12, 13, 14..highest I saw was 17.

We are going back there this morning with those that didn't write so they know we are serious.
I had 17 blank/incomplete questions and scored 13
They said they will try and rectify it... we hope they do
