Well, regardless of the source of the information; whether reliable or unreliable, I think it is the responsibility of the management of NDDC to formally publicize the cancellation of the 2017/2018 scholarship scheme with REASONS the same way they publicize the temporary suspension of the exercise in order to clear the backlogs of debts owed earlier scholars (which they have not concluded), in the national dailies last year. Not until this is done, there is no amount of action staged by the participants in the last year's scholarship exercise that can be justifiable within the existing laws of the country. We all have are various constituency representatives in both the state and federal houses of representatives + the senate. Immediately the commission announces the cancellation of the 2017 scholarship programme without viable reasons, we should quickly send petitions to our various representatives and senators and see if they will just write-off the petitions without thorough debate on the contending issues. Thank God they recognised that the transport stipend is our right; they should also recognise that it is our right and their duty to inform us on the REASONS behind the "Cancellation". For now, lets just cross our legs and wait until the cat is formally let out of the bag.

I have begun besieging nddc officials on Twitter both for the release of the list and outstanding payments for current scholars because they still owe us. I target Nsima in particular 'cos he keeps tweeting about the good the commission has done in the community (which is laughable). I try to remain optimistic but nddc is a failed org and in-your-face corrupt; not to mention an embarrassment to us 'cos every time I have a PhD assessment, when it comes to factors that may impede my progress or timeline for submission of thesis, nddc pops up on all my review paperwork due to non-payment of fees. I always send this review paperwork to seledi so they know how terrible they are representing themselves here. I pray the list is out too but you have to understand that this last long delay in payments has made many schools here in the UK reconsider nddc as a viable scholarship option so brace yourselves for very strict pre-registration conditions assuming the list is released and successful candidates are mobilised to begin studies. That being said, let us hope for the best.

If most of us can tweet all day about NDDC, the admission, the transport, chairman and disrespect we could get the attention of some people to intervene. my bro don't lose hope yet. No matter how long it takes,2017 list will be released. The move to pay the transport stipend is a good indicator. If they wanted to cancell the process, they won't even bother to pay the stipends. Also check NDDC website, there is an article about including undergraduates in the scholarship process. In that article, the MD stated categorically that the process of selection will be concluded by May. At the risk of sounding like an NDDC spokesperson, I suspect that the delay in passing the budget has caused some setback for them. That said, Nigeria has become so corrupt that, you can not really say when a government agency is facing genuine challenges and when government officials are delaying a process because the money meant for that process has been warehoused in fixed deposit accounts to yeild interest for certain government officials. However, I am confident that 2017 list will not be scrapped, because outside contract awards, the next big thing in NDDC is the scholarship list. So from the chairman to the typist, they are all interested in that list. The list will not be cancelled, only pray that your name should be on the list. Even me, I'm calling on my God daily. If you are averse to prayers,pls feel free to call on your ancestors or better still,call on your juju.The important thing is the award letter,guy 30 thousand dollars can sure change your life for good.

Nail remover, the ones used in removing artificial nails.. still no positive change etc
At last i had to go for hydrolic...... that's actually what worked for me, but in the case of my sister, she only applied anti rasha for 3 days and she was free..
Any medicine you use and you didn't see any positive change in the nail please drop that one else the nails gets worst

That doesn't mean they shouldn't deal with the issue of 2017 /2018 list. I have been haranguing them on twitter.

Well for those that are optimistic abt their chances due to their perfomance in the selection processes, this is not the time to dispair. Would U want to go thru the hassles of admission,prep and logistics for a process that was 95% concluded? I don't think so. The minister said the suspension will be lifted when owed debts are cleared and we should begin in earnest to demand for the award if likely a new process is being procured. What is the concession to us?
We can all see how the collective cries for the payment of debts was tasking but yielded results to a large extent. I'll solicit that current scholars join our campaign in solidarity as we did for them.
They shld'nt score cheap points on our matter. The 2017 award list must not be trashed. It is on us, i repeat solely on our collective effort for the list to come to light. We must not faulter or fail.

I got my payment today. For UK students, the commission short-changed us (paid us with the old rate!). That being said one less thing to worry about. Now we agitate for 2017 list. I will pass on any info I have. Thank you, 2017 prospective scholars, for bearing with us.

It's not logical using an old (possibly expired)admission for a fresh application. At what stage will the waivers be granted (cbt Or Interview)? The complexity of a fresh application of over 10000 applicants combined, those consultants can't handle it if going by the mess they did with that of this yr. The last award process had been concluded only to be delayed cos of the payment issue. Forget whatever you were told, the 2017/2018 award list will be out after payments have been conclude.

Hello Everybody both Old and New members, I hereby notify all applicants for the 2017/2018 NDDC scholarship that the awards have now been officially cancelled to accommodate payment for past recipients.
We are all required to prepare for a fresh application coming up next year.

Sad but true and reliable info. Let's not give up but prepare for another year as it comes.lifes struggle ends when we stop breathing.
