I never said men are MR.Know it all. And I never said I knew how to manage a family. Not you or I can manage a family, it takes both the man and the woman: thats why its a Family.

Family / Re: Husband at Home While the Wife Works? by Owen(m): 2:19pm On Nov 17, 2005
Hey! Take that back! Men are not weak at domestic work. I'll have you know I have only one sister and when shes out we (the guys) do virtually all the domestic work. What planet are you from any way? People are complainning that men are getting to engrosed in domestic work than they aught to. Fathers now babysit very often. Men are now known to most often than none, cook better than women. So you are very wrong to say men are weak at domestic work. I mean there is absolutely nothing to it, you name it. Just takes time thats all. angry

Computers / Re: Windows ME (Millenium) Sucks! by Owen(m): 1:55pm On Nov 17, 2005
Not just that, windows ME is one of or the most unstable windows OS ever created. Its a real disaster. The sooner you change your windows the better. ME has a record of crashing and failing that has never been seen before. I don't know anyone who has used windows ME for up to 6months without it crashing.

If I say I don't sometimes feel embarrassed to be called a Nigerian, its a lie. I love this country very much but how can 12players show up for a match where at least 22players are expected. That means only one substitute! No wander the match was not publicized. Honestly I'm beginning to think that the only way forward is to sack the entire NFA. And create strict rules for players and ensure competition between them. We where lucky to have lost only 3-0.

Family / Re: Husband at Home While the Wife Works? by Owen(m): 1:25pm On Nov 17, 2005
No way! Yes, I agree that a woman can sometimes(in a very few situations) be the bread winner and take the lead but heck, that doesn't mean the man should sit at home. It defiles the law of natural existence and disqualifies the definition of a man! And besides, about that rule; tongue I don't agree with it! tongue

The thing is Senegal have a better squad, while Ghana has a better spirit. We'll have to wait and see who goes through.

Family / Re: Husband at Home While the Wife Works? by Owen(m): 2:35pm On Nov 14, 2005
Hmmmm...looks like everyone is on my side...thats nice...but we could use a little competition to make things interesting. So all those who feel its ok for a man to sit at home doing nothing while his wife is at work should speak up and make their point. wink

I know jay jay doesnt deserve it, as a matter of fact I voted for Martins. But maybe he should get it as a good bye gift.
Sports / Re: Jay Jay Okocha and World Best Player Award by Owen(m): 2:17pm On Nov 14, 2005
My previous post was on the topic not on what you said Akolawole. But anyway, about that, I think you are right. And I also think what drbigdaddyg said is absolutely right. Okocha isn't particularly a serious person sorry to say. Okocha must have been nominated because he won the previous one and also the one before. CHEERS.

Sports / Re: Drogba vs Oba goal by Owen(m): 4:55pm On Nov 09, 2005
Naturaly I think Martins is better, and yes I think Drogba is the most over paid and over rated African player. But that being said, I dont think we should really compare them because their role as strikers is very different. Martins a striker who has speed, control, stamina, and an excellent ball sence and so he not only scores goals but creates them. Drogba on the other hand has good positioning sense, stamina, ball control and an impressive height with good heading ability so he is the ideal striker for a team who primarily counter attacks and utilises crossing most often. So you see, they dont play the same striking role at all and so Martins cant play for chelsea the way Drogba does and Drogba cant play for Inter the way Martins does. They just aren't substitutes for each other. smiley
Sports / Re: Best Finisher: Obafemi Martins, Yakubu Aiyegbeni, or Julius Aghahowa? by Owen(m): 4:47pm On Nov 09, 2005
I think Slary has got it all wrong. Cause to me those three are no longer nearly in the same cattegory. Martins is outrightly the best in every aspect of a striker not just in finishing (except in height). He plays in one of the most difficult leagues: the Italian league. Yet he is so good how much more if he played in the premiership.
Sports / Re: Germany 2006: Who Will Win The World Cup? by Owen(m): 4:42pm On Nov 09, 2005
O boy! Brazil are most definitely winning it. It'll take the grace of God for anyone else to win cause Brazil are bad and to make things worse, their current squad has the best players in the world! From Ronaldo in attack to Robinho to the worlds best player Ronaldinho to the worlds current best free kick expert Juninho to Gilberto to Kaka to Roberto Carlos to Lucio to Dida and so on. Christ!!! I wander if they intent to use those players to fight war! I mean...they have too many players for one team. Its like an allstar team. undecided

What position? The fact is that Mtn is slow except at night and it can be due to many reasons like network jamming and all that. Glo is ok and very reliable. Vmobile is cool only it goes off and on. Thats how it is every where!

I doubt senegal will qualify beyond the group stage. Their performance has fallen in recent times and I know they will have serious battle with Ghana. And thats because Ghana will try to show that their qualification for the world cup is no fluke.
