The truth is that USA wants AU to condemn the special military operation in Ukraine and impose sanctions on Russia. That feat is impossible with Nigeria. South Africa has already gone the Russian way so they would want Nigeria to go the Western way otherwise they would lose Africa. Egypt is just neutral on this(not so sure).
