Hmmmm. My sister I'm feeling bad right now reading this. I did a scan when It first started about a week before I did the second scan. The first one said there was fetus but no heart beat. Considering the time I had the first scan and the time I did the second one It would have been 7weeks but Dr Said it was only 6 weeks. I went home. Was given 1more week for observations bleeding continues, with mild cramps n now started coming out as dark blood with clot. I was scared myself each time I urinated and It came out. Went for scan again and they say the didn't see any fetus. Only signs of bleeding uterus. @7weeks. I didn't know what to do but go for the evacuation. But I've taken note of what you said. Thank you.

Good morning all. I'm not very happy o. I complained about spotting last week. So the spotting continued n was even worse as the Dr told me it's too early to give any drugs. So I went for another scan on Monday and I will told no fetal signs seen, blighted ovum /anembryonic gestation. That I should go for evacuation. That's how I lost my pregnancy at 7weeks . I'm so down. I don't know what to do.

am so sorry to say, that doc is a complete amateur, is injection not drug and is used to prevent miscarriage especially when a woman is spotting. madam look for a good gnecologist.

Thanks much. I'm seeing this Dr in a teaching hospital o. I don't where else to go check for a good gynecologist. I keep on asking if there is nothing to give. I asked someone to refer me to another Dr. He told me one I'm seeing is good. I'll try and ask other people.

I went to the Dr. He only recommend bed rest. Says drug is not good for now.

Usually 8 weeks, cardiac activity should be noticed.
Blood spotting especially if the blood is pink to red isn't a good sign.
See a Dr and register on time. The fact that you weren't menstruating as at the time of conception make me feel you have a hormonal problem. Have your Dr look into that cos it is one of the most common reasons first trimester losses occur.

Spotting can be normal in early pregnancy but in addition to your doc’s advice, I would suggest checking your progesterone to ensure your level isn’t low.

Thanks dear Iyamefa. I was thinking he will suggest the progesterone, because I read from some one here that she was on bed rest and progesterone was given.

But he only suggests bed rest.

I'll comply to that while believing God to stop the spotting.
