Wow! Please when and where did you do your biometrics? I didn’t receive not straightforward email o so I wonder why they are hanging on to my application

I got a not straightforward mail on Monday and this morning as early as 6:45am I was called for an interview without a prior notice.
So if you got the mail just prepare in advance.

I’ve noticed this of late. People are having to choose additional services in order to choose a date. I paid 35k for someone to get me a date. I wanted to do walk-in for myself and family though. So it was a win-win for me.

Despite what is on your vignette, it a rule that you’re only allowed into the UK one month before the start of your course. Sincerely, I would suggest that you modify your ticket so that all your efforts don’t go in vain at the POE.

Lecture starts on 20th of September in my school.
In my visa application I filled my intended date to fly as 21st of August. Upon receiving my visa vignette I got a valid date from 14th of August. Meaning I can travel from 14th of August.
I had already bought a ticket for 18th of August. Meaning I’ll be arriving 2 days earlier than one month before my courses start.
So I want to ask, will I be allowed entry into the UK since I’m arriving earlier than the one month period they allow since my visa will already be valid by then?
Is there an implication of traveling before my intended travel date?
Will you suggest I modify my ticket to a later date? Please I need your advice

My school rep advised us to apply even though our documents were not ready in order to get a closer date for biometrics BUT DO NOT upload any document! Choose a biometrics date that would be a day after all your documents are ready. When you get all your documents, you can go ahead and upload and then proceed for your biometrics the next day.
A lot of us on the group did it and have received visas. I’m still awaiting mine.

No to both questions.
You cannot apply without CAS and you cannot book for biometrics without applying and paying your visa fees.

I am currently in the process of counting my 28days, as my sch needs POF for CAS issuance, to fastrack this whole visa process i want to ask:

1. Can i start my visa application without my CAS?
2. Can i book for biometric before applying for visa?

Let’s see how it turns out tomorrow. Maybe they don’t want to count the biometrics day as day 1 again. So many speculations. Lol. Or maybe dem don tiff our passports

My biometrics was on 26th so I kinda know how you feel. You can send a paid email to find out the status of your application.

Please help me with the email address you sent mail to because I have to send them email too. I did biometrics on 27th July and my application was transferred to DMC same day. Since then my application is still at DMC and I have not got any email whatsoever from UKVI.

I applied for priority application at VI center in Lagos.

Why exactly do you have to tell him to lay off this space for a while? Do you know the word ‘empathy’? You need some of that.

Well, the essence of this thread is to help, encourage others coming behind you. So if someone has gotten information from here and held back their results, they are doing people here a great disservice.
