reading the creation story of Genesis. it's as if God earlier had no intention to create a woman.

so I need to know, what was the use of Adams d1ck before eve was created? or was there no d1ck?

The truth is, most Christians don't know shit about the scripture (including our so called pastors). According to the scripture God is in control of is entire creation, and the biggest lie we are being told is FREE WILL, the state of the world today is how God intended for it to be today, including humans. Anything humans are doing today as been predstinated before the creation of the world. Nothing in this world is spontaneous according to ecclessiastes 3:1. Only God can lead humans from the law of sin which he created. Human don't have the power to turn away from sin
so what is the criteria for heaven and hell? since someone has our remote control?

Oga you have just blocked your mind from understanding, that is all that's happening here. A lay man would understand that explanation. Your own decisions, is anybody forcing you? huh If nobody is forcing you, is it not your own free will? God being omniscient simply knows the outcome of what you will do, but it is up to you choose for yourself. A man named Jabez in the Bible changed his destiny by calling on God.

You keep saying that "you people say", "you people want to", but you have not even told us where in the Bible they implied that people are predestined to go to hell. You're just addressing a misconception.
OK God changed her destiny(unchangeable) ? it's either am mad or you are. until you people redefine that term or stop using it I will never agree with something that contradicts itself.

simple English na him dey do una. change and unchangeable cannot work together. simple

Please use your sense

You have free will to do whatever you like.

Example.

I have a friend who wants to buy a very expensive car.

I know he wants to buy the car and its expensive. Fore I can't. But I can't influence his decision not to. But I know what he wants to do.

For example we predict someone's action doesn't mean the person was/is programmed to carry out that action .

Don't have to explain anymore.
so gods "destiny" is now prediction? like nairabet? tombo tombo Abi?

if that destiny cannot be reached then it was never the destiny.

destiny is unchanged(as you people say)

feel me dear.

it's just like saying. a man that will die five minutes later, confirmed by many doctors as he bleeds profusely. it is certain in five minutes he must die(destiny).

then you give him panadol extra(free will) that you know cannot change the situation. does that make any sense?

free will and destiny cannot work together.

if there is destiny then there will be no sin, since we didn't create destiny. a robot does not sin. only humans with free will are convicted.

fvck it

Let me explain for you what that means.

God knows what will happen, yes! But he gave us free will so he won't influence any of our decision but knows if you will change or not, it is your own will power we are like gods, we are not controlled, that's why we have our own mind and conscience, we make our own decisions. Understand?
same bullshits. you say God knows what will happen and then gave us free will. what do we do with the free will since he already knows what will happen? who created that "what will happen"? where did it come from?

make una no dey talk Watin una no know jo.

Everything have been lost from the time of Adam, You can't question God for predestination or programming your life, it all happen in Eden, and God tried to work things out but men refuse and thus, Genesis 6:3. If you could notice that before them, even when Cain killed Abel, God still spoke with Cain and he still protected him, even though he didn't accept responsibility for what he did. God still protected him hoping he will come back to God, but he didn't. So from that time, God left man to free will. So a man is left to with follow God's will or follow Satan's will
you are still not making sense. OK let me take you to heaven. it is said Lucifer rebelled against God. meaning there is also free will in heaven, the angels are not that holy then, they are like us. now tell me, did God see it coming? if he did, who created that vision? how did it come about?

question that has no answer you people want to answer this making you look confused. it's really shameful

When Adam and Eve sinned, man was sold to the devil and destined for destruction so everything a man does will surely lead to his destruction. Since then, man have been trying to avoid this destruction and having been trying to reconcile with God. Anyone that is reconciled with God, God begins to order their step and guides them, but God will still mot force them into doing his will.
Read Genesis 6:3. Before then, God was the one finding a way to reconcile man to him, but after that verse, God backed out and it became man searching for God
and the question is, if God sees the future he must have seen that they ate the fruit. who created that "destiny"? who created my path before I was even made? I didn't do it. my dad didn't do it. then who? I need that answer.

@bolded, is that what the Bible says? People have made many misconceptions on many issues without comprehending things. I've not read the Bible from cover page to back page, but so far I've not seen any scripture that implies people are predestined to go to heaven or hell.

Logically, God knowing what we are going to do does not mean that we can't do something else. It means that God simply knows what we have chosen to do ahead of time, out of our own free will. I can keep a bowl of ice cream and a vegetable on the floor, and I definitely know which one my 5 yr old nephew would pick, but that doesn't stop him from being able to make a different choice. I know what he's going to do, doesn't mean he's not able to do something else...I just know that he will do it.
you are still not making sense. let me ask you. that destiny god saw who created it. where did it come from? it's already fixed. by who? if it's already fixed then it's not a free will.

The example is as simple as anything except if u don't want to come down to understand it.

See understanding is not by force, if u are open to understand something, u will surely get it.

That example was a mere physical example everyone can relate to and we know it... In terms of the ones we don't know about like the eventuality of what might happen tomorrow, only God knows that and it is based on our yesterday's decisions and choices made... Hope u now get it
you are not making sense. destiny(unchangeable future) cannot work with freewill. don't let religion turn you to mumu.

God gave us all the free will to decide which path we want to follow ( good or evil). And at the end we all will give accounts of our actions based on the choices we have made. He didn't programme us like some robots but rather we were created in his image with the free will to make our own choices. Secondly he knows all our capabilities and has given us the freedom to make our choices, he doesn't determine that for us. In other words our actions are determined by our choices not some predetermined ordination.
but you people say god sees the future(unchangeable destiny). if the future(unchangeable destiny) is already seen by god then does that mean our own free will surpasses that of god vision? if so, then I can say there was no vision. since what is supposedly seen never happened. if it never happened then it was never seen.

Our freewill is a product of God's will.
He created us to be like him.... that is, to know what is right and wrong and then choose rightly. That, I think is what makes us mini-gods, unlike animals.

Guy don't be deceived... The truth is that God has the possibility of events that might occur depending on ur choice of action. Everything is based on the power of choice he has given us.

It depends on u if u want to eat but the possible outcome is that if u eat, u will get natural vitamins from food b filled and be assured that tomorrow looks good provided all is well but if u don't eat, u might go hungry and.might not miss vitamins as u might be taking vit tabs.

So God knows the end from the beginning but it is ur job to choose the beginning.
if I eat I know the outcome. if I don't I know the outcome. that's common sense. does that make me a god? interesting.
Christianity Etc › Re: Am I Destined To Sin As God Already Knows What I Will Do Next? by Owliver(m): 12:13pm On Jun 19, 2016

No, God made us in his image, that is we have free will and free to make our choices. He did not create robots.
Nonetheless, He knows everything and knows that man is naturally wicked (after the fall of Adam) and sinful; and that explains why He had to bring Jesus to the picture.
So, in our fallen nature we are destined to sin. But that's not God's will for us. Through repentance and forgiveness He gives through Jesus, sin is no more a big deal. Through Jesus, one can overcome the temptation to sin, and if one falls, one can be reconciled to God. So, you see that sin is not a problem. I say that because when you believe and trust God everyday, you will not want to sin.
As long as you are alive and can always go to God through Jesus, He is ready to forget and forgive our pasts and move on from there.
so our free will is stronger than the will of god? interesting.

why do you men relate everything feminism to marriage? I don't get it! Feminism isn't about marriage and the relationship between a wife and husband for God's sake! Not every woman is married, not every woman want to marry and not every woman will marry. But every woman deserve to be treated with respect for being human and not be condescended on for being a woman whatever her state is. It's about society and the way women are being subdued just for being women! Issues faced by women, especially those superimposed by culture, tradition, religion, society etc! Why do you men get all defensive and insecure by the word "feminism"? You are quick to remember God and marriage all of a sudden even when you don't obey God! These insecurity towards anything that progresses the life of a woman is shameful. Undue competition. *sigh
I focused on marriage cos that's the institution women are most likely to be treated unfairly. my dear it's either I stand on your head or you stand on my head. but that doesn't mean respect should not be awarded to everyone. can you explain why poor people are being subdued for being poor? why blacks are subdued for being blacks? that's how society rolls. religion on the other hand is a great tool. headed by men. have you ever wondered why God is a male? he only has a son and no daughter? Lolz we invented God. we invented your religion. and we accused you of being weak. deceived by a mere serpent. because we were and are still the pillars of society. so dear madam know your place and live in peace.

There are people who disagree with the term "gender equality" and then go on to present their reasons in an intelligent way, but this one is just so shallow.

Why is gender in Nigeria always discussed within the context of marriage? Is that all there is to life? huh

“Relationships today are ending because women want to be men...”

Auntie, you're really one to talk about broken relationships. Were you not married three times before you married the Ooni? Typical Nigerian woman! Get married, put on a cloak of self - righteousness and judge others for the same things you used to do.

well,in a society where everyone has come to accept the status quo you would definitely be labeled a rebel if you crave something better. As for me,am looking beyond society,I hope to live life to it's fullest, finding my purpose and exploring my potentials,I would be sure to remember to align myself with people that crave the same.
hmm you have a lot to learn. when someone tags you a rebel be glad. who isn't a rebel? who isn't selfish? who isn't wicked? these words are codes implanted in us by society used as a tool to create negative feelings thus get things from us.

for example, someone begs you money and you refuse, you are tagged selfish. Lolz that's just a word to prick on your conscience just to make you feel a negative anxiety so you feel guilty of "bad"... but isn't the person asking too selfish? why does he want your money.... but really we all came to this world naked, so "your money" is not even yours, you deceived out of your selfishness to get it. and I ask again. who isn't selfish?

I could talk to you for days but let me stop before I bore you.

alright, still using your analogy. if equality is unattainable so therefore what prevails is inequality, from which stems up discrimination, unfair treatment and adverse effects of inferiority.

How do we attain a balance?
yes inequality must prevail in a society. think about the jungle where there's no society. no rich, no poor, no strong, no weak but just survival. society is a jungle but a jungle of deception. where one is a billionaire and another can't afford a bread. religion tells a poor man to remain hungry that god knows why. without this acceptance of inequality society cannot prevail.

inequality is part of life, struggle, deceive and fight to get to the top that's what we all do but when it comes to family society if you take it so dearly then you must conform to the norms of a society, knowing that that one will have to be down for others to be above.

why do you think god does whatever he likes? cos he's more powerful.

I believe I have passed a great message to you. hold it dearly. know when to fight and know when not too. choose your wars wisely. it's all vanity.
