11-year-old primary 6 pupil is nursing serious injuries to her back, neck, hands as a result of hot water that was thrown on her by her mother's neighbour in Mbaitolu, Imo State on Saturday, May 20th.According to KC Young, Chika was brought to their station, My Radio Fm 101, Owerri, on Sundayby her widowed mother, Mrs Ngozi Mkwazema, a native of Emekuku in Imo state but living as a tenant in Obazu Mbieri in Mbaitolu LGA. Below is the report:"It happens that on Saturday 20th around 8pm there was a fight between her children and that of her Co-Tenant which she gave her name as Mrs promise a mother of 3 and married to one Mr Obinna a Keke driver from Ebonyi state.

When Miss Chika (the victim) came to separate the fight, Mrs promise started beating her and at the same time insulting her Mother.

According to the girl "'She started insulting my mother and calling my two big sisters prostitutes so I talked back to her and told her to stop insulting my family, she drag me to the public kitchen and poured hot water that my mum was Boiling on me.

According to her Mum, Mr Obinna and his wife promise, are no where to be found and he is from Abakaliki in Ebonyi state.

Augusta AW101, the $21 million presidential jet that was handed over to the Nigeria Air Force by the presidency two months ago, crashed within the Air Force base in Makurdi, Benue state yesterday November 23rd.

According to sources at the Air Force base, the flight engineer who was the only one on board, had landed the jet at the base and was to be parked it in the hanger when it suddenly moved up and then crashed. The crash according to sources was not that serious and the flight engineer sustained minor injury.

A senior official from the president’s camp has revealed that Robert Mugabe who is the World’s oldest and one of the longest serving Heads of State, will not be contesting in the presidential election in 2018, after he was reportedly advised to drop out of the race by his medical doctors.

Although, it’s yet to be officially announced but the unidentified official while explaining the state of the president’s medical records was quoted on ZimNews saying:

‘The President’s medical records are classified and private, I cannot disclose anything, but he (Mugabe) has a clean bill of health at the moment. However he is not going to contest the coming elections, after being told by doctors that the campaigning alone will take a heavy toll on him. You will soon find out for yourselves, but the long and short

Report also has it that the president, who has endured a cocktail of health woes, including eye cataract problems, reported prostate cancer and paining swollen feet, will embark on another round of medicals in Singapore, Hong Kong or Malaysia when he goes for his annual Christmas holiday with his family in December.

Robert Mugabe aged 92, who assumed the office of the President in 1987 and having ruled for over 30 years.
