jlinkd78: AGF, we have also seen ur body language direction and am sure this theatrical game is what u guys are planning for Nnamdi Kalu too; press for more charges once court grants u bail. Democracy will soon be democrazy under this govt. I might not have pity for Dasuki but it ll be unfortunate if the FG turns d country to a banana republic wia d rule of law is jettisoned on d altar political self aggrandizement. Nov 23 is thus a date for both Dasuki and Kanu. So are you implying they shouldn't press for charges and Dasuki be allowed to go away with our money?? Please Dasuki should go to court and clear his name...it'll do both him and Nigeria good. |

if he is as innocent as he claims they why didn't he honor the invitation?
What guarantee do we have that he'll return after he travels abroad?
Please he should clear his name before he travels..at least so he won't receive any insults while away and he can receive medical attention in peace.
But why is this Dauda so experienced in defending corrupt public officers?
Anyways I know Nigeria will be great again!!!
GOD BLESS NIGERIA |

People wrongly see this tribalism thing as a North vs south or religious power fight but from what I've seen so far from what I've seen it's just pure hatred for our fellow man if not how else will you explain it when in Rivers State an Ikwerre landlord and come and sack a calabar man without notice at night and even go as far as bringing his children to remove the doors and windows? Thought Ikwerre and Calabar were supposed to be southern tribes?
It's this pure hatred for ourselves that is killing us yet no body is willing to do anything about it |

N2.99b Approved By FG For Calabar – Katsina Ala Road Posted on July 31, 2013 by Admin in News // 0 Comments coat of arm N2.99b was today Wednesday, July 31, approved by the Federal Government for the rehabilitation and extension work on Calabar-Ugep-Ogoja-Katsina Ala Road, according to Minister of State for Works, Bashir Yuguda, after of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting presided over by President Goodluck Jonathan in Abuja. Yuguda said, the original cost of the project was N4.6 billion and the new approval of N2.99 billion would bring the total cost of the project to N7.6 billion. The new approval, he said, would extend the road from kilometer 48 to kilometer 76 and would be completed within 24 months. His words: “Council had at its conclusion 7 of 1st April 2009 awarded contract for the rehabilitation of Calabar-Ugep-Ogoja-Katsina Ala Road Section 1(Calabar -Ugep) in Cross River State. The ZIP was embarked upon in 2009 to address the deteriorating state of the road. The first phase of the project is aimed at addressing the heavily distressed sections of the road while other sections not captured in the original contract scope of works would be addressed when funds become available. This is to ensure that government and the public get the full benefits of the investment made on the roads in terms of improvement in the level of service”. The contract calitown.com scooped, has been awarded to Messrs Piccolo Brunelli Limited in the sum of N2,999,979,575.00 to N7,613,176,725.00 only. It will be recalled that the Cross River state section of the road is perhaps the busiest federal highway in the state and it has been in a serious state of disrepair. How is Buhari claiming GEJ achievement when it's a state project? Or do FG now do state projects. Please Buhari was just there for the flag-off ceremony and not to claim it was a federal project. Next time do proper research before you lie to us |

He may have known them for so long but I think it was vital he even studied and watch them some more after he won the election. This would help him realise if they were following him because they truly believed in Project Nigeria or if they were only interested in enlarging their pockets.
You can never know someone well enough. I think ministerial appointments were what undermined GOD'S efforts and tenure as a whole and Buhari would have been eager to avoid same.
**my humble opinion tho** |

Giving us the same old news & information we already know in an independent day speech. No economic direction, No security & employment policies & No plans in view. He said impatience is not a virtue... My brother he's just sent his ministerial nominees for screening. Gboliwe: But Ita stated that the proposed road would not traverse the Cross River National Park, as the superhighway would be several kilometres away from the national park.
“Based on the input of the Cross River National Park, the road has since been re-routed with the alignment now several kilometers away from the Park.
“As a governor who is passionate about the preservation of the state’s biodiversity with his establishment of the Green Police, he would not embark on a project that would undermine the environment’’ Ita stated.
He said the EIA report on the road was being handled by PGM (Nig) Ltd.– environmental consultants– recommended to the state by the Federal Ministry of Environment.
Didn't you read this quoted part? What other EIA is to be done? It means they are now carrying out the EIA.. So all we have to do is wait until they finish And maybe the due to the input of the National Park the road alignment was re-routed but does that cover the damage that can be done during the construction phase of the project? How do we know they won't drop their residue in our waters to harm our fish? How do we know the fumes produced while preparing and pouring asphalt won't affect our primates? That why the Environmental Impact Assessment is needed..the road may have been re-routed buy it could still do considerable damage to wildlife |
