Same here. The system stopped grading DE applicants at the later registration (or maybe it didnt even grade any DE at all, but I know it graded the UTME candidates who registered early)

LOL. Anything can make admission seekers panic? If they say the passport to upload should never be heavier than so-so-so mega pixel; you should know that means it should be lighter than so-so-so mega pixel. So if you uploaded a passport lesser than the mega pixel limit they gave; you not out of line. Keep calm.

You're right but the thing is, the form he printed at the point of registration last month was in black and white. So he wants to re-print in coloured type this time, just to be on a safer ground should in case that's what they'll request for upon admission (by God's grace).

So I went to the website, wrote the Ref no. and clicked "load form", but it didn't bring up any of his files. Instead what appeared was a new registration procedure. Or am I doing something wrong?

As much as I know; you are not doing anything wrong (judging by what you said you did). The database has been collected for the web for further processing, that is why you cannot find your data at that moment. More so, the web malfunctions sometimes. But be assured that since you've been able to complete your registration before, your data is on the database...you are an applicant! Just chillax okay? Meanwhile, you can keep checking the web.

This is to clear aspirants who are confused about which set of freshmen resumed school last August; they aren't the candidates who applied for admission this year! The UTME/DE candidates who applied last year (2015/16 session) are the ones who just resumed and matriculated. The candidates who applied for admission this year wont resume until next year (be reminded that OAU is still one session behind the academic calendar). I hope this is explanatory enough to stop 2016/2017 UTME/DE applicants from panicking. But if it's not, please reach somebody for valid information.

Scored 82%, chose Political Science, and still here checking jamb website every now and then to see something different from "sorry, you have not been admitted yet". This sucks!

Anyone here seen anyone admitted to Pol Science anywhere? Cos no Political Science aspirant seem to be here. almost everyone is Elect/Elect or Merturlogy (don't even know how it's spelt).

My Jamb reg no. starts with 590, I chose Political Science, I scored 82% in the screening, I'm yet to be admitted. I wanna believe they are still uploading the list. So let's be faithful team 590...We shall share our testimonies too. Congrats to the admitted mates. We shall meet on campus.

I think what the person is talking about is predegree students that's been admitted to degree, not predegree students that just got admitted to pedegree.

Whoever wrote that write-up really really gets OAU, I tell you. When it's OAU...anything can happen, and no rumor is actually rumor.

It's good you guys are catching fun while waiting for the list to come out. At least the tensions are eased for now. I look forward to next year when y'all will be sick of waiting and come on here to start wailing about how slow OAU goes about everything. I'll just be here lowkey reading your frustrations.
