eni4real:Someone like Ramos would be laughing if VVD have won it cos VVD has not done what Ramos did in the last seven years. A defender boast of skills and had 2 figures goals for years. |
Emytea:You failed Sneilder did not even win European player of the year and Inter Milan player of the year. They were won by Diego Milito. How then do you expect Sneilder to win the bigger ones. You always mention this but not 2013 award that CR7 won when Ribery has already prepared to receive the award having won UCL,Bundesliga and UCL best player. The truth is that Messi against VvD in voting will always favour Messi. |
krozay:Home base players at barca are difficult to leave compared to other established bought players. Deco, Ronaldinho, Rivaldo, Van Bomel, Van Brochust, Samuel Eto's career at Barca cannot be compared to real stakeholders such as Xavi, Iniesta, Puyol, Guardiola, that left barca and vowed not to play competitive matches against Barca. Imagine the way iniesta, Xavi, Puyol wept when they are about to leave Barca. Tell me what Messi whose Barca helped to reach where he is now will feel when he wants to leave. You people should reason joo. The guy is not even interested in playing for any team aside Barca and Newell Old Boys. |
thirdi:You have point but don't compare Nigeria to Dubai in term of oil sales, population against per capital development. |
Carkeyng:I was optimistic to read until I got to Fasola's criticism and Ambode's commendations. The fact is that Lagos is far better compared to what is obtainable in some other states, Northern states aside, pertaining to road network. Fasola's first term in Lagos transcends any other governor. How I wished all governors can be dumped at the end of four years. It seems second term is the bane of governance in Nigeria. If any road would be constructed at all, it cannot be this raining season definitely. |
juvewalex:Baba Bisi Akande was never a calamity to his own people. He advocated and practised almost everything he preach now but his plea fell to our deaf ear. As for issue of APC and presidency, he is as amazed as you and I are because of change expected that is not actualised. |
tunjijones:I am tired ooo. After all the ranting just ask them to proffer solution to the crisis, nothing but cuelessness. You see the estimate and numbers of Nigerians in South Africa compared to South African in Nigeria and you still fan ember of war. A reasonable analyst will tell you Nigeria are at the receiving end when we both resort to crisis because only the business of few not South Africa herself or their lives would be at loss. For Nigeria, resort to attack and have many dead citizens and business loss. This is exactly why Government are being proactive and sue for peace. South Africans seems to be bell bent on making their country discouraging for Nigeria and the hand writing is very clear for all to see. Instead of condemning their citizen's acts, they still find means of defence. If this is abated now, I still foresee likelihood of further attack in future. May God help Nigeria. |
AloyEmeka9:You miss it there. Don't just be making assumption and conclusion like that. I have lived in Igbo land and lived among Hausas . it is peculiar to almost all the tribes. Its only insecurity that can make one susceptible the way op. Ur assumption is premised upon the belief that Lagos is at least heterogenous. Don't forget we have a dominant tribe. I live in a compound that is dominated by Igbos that are not even indigenes. They speak Igbo not minding other tribes. It is even Yoruba that are suppose to be complaining but they shelve theirs. Bros learn to be tolerant if you must live among them. Go to the north, You will see English language being taught in Hausa language. You can't take Hausa language from them for a minute. It is a natural phenomenon. On speaking ur language to the white you miss it there. If a white man comes to African on a purpose and wants efficacy they hire interpreter who will eventually teach them the language. Check the history, most of the African languages are written thanks to effort of whites who deemed it fit to actualise their goal. But if you ho to their land, you will be forced by circumstances to learn and speak their language. |
[quoteit author=dimexy247 post=81911076]Hmmm! Everything would have turned to a bloody war, he'd sent a strong message to everyone that Nigeria is not a country to mess with. He'd have sent to SA, the head of SA ambassador in a box. He'd have done so many unthinkable stuffs to S'Africans here. The truth is Abacha may have been a dictator but he would have never been so quiet like one impostor we have now.[/quote]It is not as easy as you think. A reasonable govt needs to calculate the cause, effect and consequence. Nigerians in South Africa are many compared to South Africans in Nigeria. They have advantage over Nigeria. The best at this juncture is dialogue. |
Toscarel:What has the one u have been earning made u. You have never been ranked as the richest in Africa or Nigeria. The few rich ones are fraud earned money. Still you are below par. |
