With West Brom wrapping up their season with a home game against champions Manchester United, Peter Osaze Odemwingie’s Baggie’s nightmare seems to be over.

Odemwingie had been in the club’s bad books for his critical outbursts on social media, and has not started a league match for the club ever since January when he tried to force a move to recently-relegated QPR.

Manager Steve Clarke said: “His future will be decided in the summer. I don’t think he’ll be here next season.”

“I’ve stuck by him because he’s talented and I need as many talented players as I can get.

“I think over the last four months I’ve done as much I can to put up with it.

“To be honest over the last four months he hasn’t really played for my side. He’s been in and around the place but his contribution since January has been very, very little.

“The disappointment for me is that before January, when he was fit and available, I think he played over 70% of the games, produced good performances and scored goals.

“And in the second half of the season I haven’t had that player, so that’s the disappointing thing for me as a coach.”

In the midst of the shimmering outfits, sultry looks, shinning eyeballs were tensed muscles, edge-sitting, pulsing veins as the winners of the various categories were called out. The drama was captivating. The atmosphere though relaxed was intense. The anxiety, so solid, hanging loosely in the air. You could touch it. Reminiscent of what is seen at the Oscars, the African Magic Viewers Choice Awards 2013 have been clinched. There were no victors nor vanquished, however there were those who made away with the maiden edition of the awards and those who swore to win in the following year.

Banky W last night threw yet again another successful Lagos party at the Civic Centre, Ozumba Mbadiwe Road, Victoria Island, Lagos. The concert which was co-hosted by IK, Seyi Law & Freeze, was for the release of his hugely anticipated genre-defining, industry-shaking album “R&BW“.

It was a perfect night for an intimate concert this Valentine season; there were also great performances from K9, Iyanya, Chidinma, Bez, Black Magic, Praiz, Shaydee, Lynxxx (with Banky W), Niyola (with Banky W), Bez, Waje, Sound Sultan and Skales. The fans were also in for a special treat when toast-master Blackky came on stage and brought the house down with his medley of songs starting with “Rosie”

There was also a moment of silence for Singer Goldie who passed away on February 14, 2013

Nollywood superstar, Devoted Wife, Mother of 4, Business Woman, Singer, Activist, philanthropist and now a Reality TV Show Star – Omotola Jalade Ekeinde‘s new reality TV show, ‘Omotola: The Real Me’, was officially unveiled by Africa Magic at an exclusive cocktail launch held at the Wheatbaker Hotel, Ikoyi, Lagos, on the 5th of December 2012.

Omotola who was the star of the night dazzled in a floor length metallic brownish burgundy Iconic Invanity evening dress that had an interesting criss-cross straps pattern at the back.

It was a fun-filled night of entertainment, food and drinks plus a special preview of the reality show which made its debut on the African Magic Entertainment channel 151 on DSTV Thursday December 6 2012.

The Real Me launch was attended by stars, personalities and socialites including Mannie, IK Osakioduwa, Karen Igho, Chidynma, Denrele Edun, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, Alex Ekubo, Familusi Akin Babajide, Gbenro Ajibade, Dimeji Alara, DJ Xclusive, Lynxxx, Jumai Shaba, Funlola Aofiyebi-Raimi, Zizi Cardow, Bez, Toke Makinwa, Julius Agwu, Eku Edewor, AY, Femi Brenard, Vixen Ekwere and a host of others.

Shot in Lagos, the video sidesteps the norm by portraying LOS as a group of high-flying young men planning and executing a daredevil heist.

Who else could possibly cause the ‘disappearance’ of a priceless artifact AND GET AWAY WITH IT? Only to be expected with their bad guy p, no? They raised stakes and greater rewards depict the transition of the group from boys, into men in a 3-minute mini-movie expertly directed by Clarence Peters.
