In Nigeria people vote for ethnicity. One of the reason the north voted against atiku is to make sure that only buhari  who is a fulani/hausa like them run  in the race with Jonathan because they know Jonathan is from a small ethnics. while buhari is from a large ethnic group which is 9 states in Nigeria. Given him a boost into the election.

The only set of people that can compete with the Fulani/hausa in Nigeria are Yorubas because of the number of states a Yoruba candidate can gather in an election.

You are basically playing the game into the hands of the fulani/hausa.  A yorubaman has a better chance of winning the 2011 election than anyone.  all election shows this. Jonathan would have a difficult time winning.

Any honest person would tell you, the best option to win at this stage is to throw in a Yoruba man. who is a christain. And have strong christain root because of the middle belt. The reason is Jonathan is from the Old eastern part of Nigeria. And it is not possible to have the president and the senate president from the same place.


If Igbo dont vote Yorubas as president in 2011, the Igbo remain deputy speaker till 2019. That is PDP law.
