baebae: Some cool GoT facts you probably don't know • In 2014, 1544babies were named Aryain the United States, making it the 216th most popular name, fourspots ahead of the totally normal name Jennifer. In addition to Arya, 368 babies were named Khaleesi – which technically is a title bestowed upon a personmeaning “Queen,” and not a name – while 60 were named Tyrion – why wouldn’t there be more?! Tyrion is the best! – and 15 were named Theon in 2013, which (thankfully) decreased to 11 in 2014, presumably once parents caught up on Season 2 and 3 and saw what Theon was up to. •Peter Vaughn, the actor who plays the blind Maester Aemon of The Wall, is actually blind in real life. The actor portrays Aemon as a wise and trusted man, and his blindness lends the character a compassionate side not often seen from those onGame of Thrones. Always the calm old man, Maester Aemon has seen a lot of shit in his time, or more accurately, not seen it.Appearing in 11 episodes, Vaughn does not only share blindness with his character, but healso shares an old age not often seen by those who inhabit Westeros – and certainly not by those who live at Castle Black. In real life, Vaughnis 92 years old, •Richard Madden (Robb Stark) had no idea that his character would die. He didn't find out reading the books but accidentallywhen he was googling the character! •Do you know Gwendoline Christie's (Brienne of Tarth) birthday? It's ok - she doesn't either. Still to this day.Her and her mother never kept track of the day she was born. •Sibel Kekilli (Shae) is an acclaimed actress in Germany but before that, she was a porn star! •Alfie Allon (Theon Greyjoy) is the brother of pop singer Lily Allen. •Sophie Turner (Sansa Stark) is a natural blonde. She dyes her hair for the show. Also, her family adopted Zunni, who plays a Direwolf on “Game of Thrones.” I honestly wouldn’t recognize her as a blonde. •Sean Bean (Eddard stark) played soccer with his prosthetic head after dying •Jaime Lannister absolutely despises wearing his armor. •The writers put in fake death scenes to trick the actors. While speaking with BBC Radio,Sophie Turner (Sansa stark) said the writers make fake scripts to trick the actors into thinking they’re going to be killed off.“Then about three weeks later they’ll end up telling you that it was a joke, •Tyrion and Varys are the on-set comedians.there are two comedians working on set all the time. “Peter Dinklage and Conleth Hill — Tyrion and Varys — they are the funniest act that you willever hear. They’re funnier than most professional comedians, and they constantly have the cast in stitches •The Dothraki language is an entirely fictional language created for the show. •A lot of characters who are dead on the show are alive in the books for example Ser Barrister , Stannis, Shireen • the actor who played Ramsey snow was one of the actor intended to play Jon snow **goodness gracious are we glad that it didn't happen • tyrion and cersei lannister are good friends in real life . he even convinced her to audition for the role Thank you for this. i will download all of Sibel Kekilli vids... lol |

djlaqua91: Nice theory, issue is those walkers are sexist. Haven't seen a female white walker yet only female wights. The Night King was a former Lord commander of the nights watch and suspected to be a Stark descendant of the first men. Can't wait for those dragons to enter Westeros I don't think there was a Night watch before the walkers were created. It was after the creation of the WW that mankind erected a wall to separate and protect themselves from the WW. About WW being only female, remember Craster? When Gilly told Sam that if her child is a boy he will be killed/sacrificed to the WW, but if its a girl she will live. |

Santino1: That scene (and the whole iron island plot) doesn't make sense to me.
First, you heard the whole folks chanting Yara! Tara!! and 5 seconds later they are in support of the uncle who not only admitted to killing Balon but also making unverifiable claims and half-arsed idea of seducing Daenerys. Seriously? . Like one commenter said, dude is like the Donald Trump of Westeros, next thing you know he'll promising to build a wall and get the white walkers to pay for it.
Second, we were made to believe most of the islanders escaped with Yara and Theon during Euron's coronation which begs the question: If she had such enormous support, how did Euron win the kinsgmoot in the first place.
I wish Benioff and Weiss didn't introduce the Dorne (equally as stupid) and the Iron Island plots in the show. It was the Lords of Iron Island that was at the Kingsmoot not the whole Iron Island residents. Most Iron born soldiers are loyal to Yara but they cant make her queen because they are not Lords. If you recall how a Lord tackled her that they can't let a lady rule them, one also said Balon"s heir (i.e Theon) is still alive but Theon didn't want to be king . So when Euron came up to claim the salt throne they all accepted and being that he has the royal house blood. But i smell conspiracy too on the part of the priests and other Lords present that day. |

For the first time ever, the showrunners of HBO’s Game
of Thrones are “apologizing” for an episode.
Emmy-winning writer-producers David Benioff and Dan
Weiss sent a video statement into ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel
Live on Tuesday night to express their sincere regret over
the impact of Sunday’s hour, “The Door,” which
concluded with the shocking death of the lovable Hodor

Anyone notice something strange about Meera? What's she made of? A CotF used a weapon on a WW but the weapon couldn't hurt the WW. Whereas Meera used same weapon on the WW and the WW was iced and eliminated. What's Meera role in the wars to come? Is she Jon Snow's twin sister? Remember Jon Snow have also killed a WW albeit using a Valyrian steel. |

Endy10: While we're at it, I would really like to drop this. Bran didn't warg into the younger Hodor first. Its was the action of warging into the 'present' Hodor that made the 'past' Hodor enter a trance and the whole 'hold the door' stuff came up Thank you...Let the arguments begin So Bran wargs into Hodor — but crucially, he does it while he's still observing the past. Bran is watching the past and controlling Hodor's body in the present at the same time. |

Vorpal: Who would you rather have on your side, a woman with 3 dragons and a better claim than anyone else to the iron throne?
Or a probable warden of the north? Euron is about to kill them, and all they could do is seek alliance with the mother of dragon that is still in Essos? Maybe you are talking base on a theory you read. This is my thinking and i think its feasible aligning with the Starks. It's not probable the starks will win the battle of the North, and besides the Starks have a better claim to Winterfell. Yara and Theon doesn't have anything to do with the Iron throne. Its theur uncle that have that ambition. |

Vorpal: That would be stupid of them, the wise move is to go seek Dany's alliance. They already have bad blood with the Starks, plus, the north remembers!. And Dany may even be quite sentimental to a queen ironborn than a king brother killer. Euron's idea of seducing Dany with his ships and ruling westeros together is quite laughable though. How did they fall for that? What are you saying? Hasn't Sansa gained Theon Greyjoy's trust? What is North remembering again? And she has told Jon about her ordeals with Ramsey and how Theon helped her escaped. Besides Sansa and Jon need all the help and army they can get. |

Vorpal: I don't see how Bran is at fault tho, it was fated to be so. Like the three eyed raven said, the past is written, the ink is dry. If the three eyed raven wanted it in a different way, he would have told Bran to pack up and leave immediately he came back to reality. At least the three eyed raven could have seen the future and warned Bran ahead but he did not. Meaning the three eyed raven given he came to be before Bran could have prevented a whole lot than Bran who is quite naive of his actions. More so if Bran never climbed and fell he will never have triggered his warging ability.
It just furthers the argument if the life we live is predestined or the choices we make are what predestined it?
From what I can deduce in that episode, I think we are predestined to make certain choices that would in turn shape our lives no matter how careful we may try to live. Nothing is a mistake or an error, there is a reason.
Btw, why is no one talking about who was it that was being sent to the vale? And who was speaking? Of what relevance is that scene in the scheme of things to come? Hmmmmmmmmm. "it just furthers the argument if the life we live is predestined or the choices we make are what predestined it?" What vale are you talking about? Which scene? |

Children of the forest (CotF) created the White Walkers (WW) because the first men were killing them and they were not few, so that had to make weapon out of men to defend themselves. But now the WW are enraged and gone rogue. Try have returned from the land of forever winter, the CotF are no march for them. Who will stop the dead? Dragonglass will kill them but is it enough? Bran is needed. |

During the initial stages of Bran's training with Bloodraven. The 3 eyed raven told Bran that he was in cave for a purpose, and one of that purpose was to change the future. The Night King marking Bran was bound to happen, otherwise Hodor won't be holding the door. Bran refused to adhere to the 3 eyed raven instructions and the original events actually occured. Many times the 3 eyed raven told him if he stays too much in warging he could sink. Had he listened the past and future would have been re-written. |
