l am no fan of Obasanjo but l listen to what he says. However most people don't because of his hypocritical nature. l would employ people to read again his last letter to the President. Never has the country been more polarised along ethnic and religious lines before this present regime. l am a born again Christian and Yoruba. l will definitely vote for Buhari/Fashola ticket. l am interested in improvement in my life and that of my family not what religion my leaders belong to. l belong to the same religion as my President and l have not seen the impact on my life. Yorubas are more interested in preserving their rich cultural heritage which is second to none and are not religious zealots. Both religions live in harmony in Oduduwa kingdom. l rest my case.

korel9 you are full of hate. Apart from what you wrote, Keshi qualified Nigeria for Nations cup for local players for the first time and won the bronze medal. He won Mandela cup which we had lost on at least one occasion when South Africa defeated us 1-0. He won a cup when we played Catalonia. In 2002we did not get out of group stage at the world cup and we had a local coach. In 2006 we did not qualify. In 2010 with a foreign coach we did not win a single match at the world cup. Siasia failed to qualify us for Nations cup in 2012. Keshi is building a team with mostly average players. When last did any Nigerian player win African footballer of the year? At best lke Uche is an average striker playing in a modest club. Is he playing for Barcelona or Real Madrid? Why are these clubs not falling over themselves for his services. Korel9 are you one of the hateful sport journalists disguising here? Please get a life.Keshi more than merits to be retained.

The person who wrote this piece is a bloody liar. Keshi is out of contract and is with his family in the US. He did not grant any interview saying he won't work with some NFF technical committee members. What we readers of Nairaland forum have to understand is that some people post comments that are controversial and meant to whip up sentiments so that they will have a lot of people responding to their silly and untrue postings. This type of posting ought to be ignored. How many people responding to this write-up actually heard Keshi say what was posted here? Please don't allow any fool play on your intelligence.

This is a very educative thread. I have read through most of the postings and taken down notes. I would advise people to do the same. What I discovered is that people just open the thread and ask the same question that has already been previously answered. The experts that provide solutions should desist from answering such questions and rather advice the person to refer to previous post where that person's question has already been answered. Wahala dey o! What is all these argument about Tecno and other smartphones. God gave all of us freewill. Please use it. I have Blackberry Bold 4, I have a Nokia phone that is DSTV enabled, I have a smartphone that is Startimes enabled and I love my Tecno Phantom A2 and Tecno T3. I am not ashamed of my Tecno phones. I display them proudly for all to see. Should I be ashamed that I am watching Nollywood movies and utilising 102 applications (including FIFA 14) mostly downloaded to my 16GB SD card? The screen is sharp and the battery life fantastic. Why all the fuss? Anyone that does not like Tecno phones (also used 3 different types of Tecno phones in the past) should buy and utilise what meets their fancy. Apart from one of my tecno phones that I had to replace the screen, none has ever given me any problems. Biko, enough of this tecno bashing.

I have seen the Tecno A+ and I bought Tecno A2. Tecno A2 is Fantastic. Try watching tv or a film on it - you will really enjoy it. Well the price difference is worth it. Screen sizeof A+ is 5in (smartphone) compared to A2 which is 5.7in (phtablet) Camera for A+ is 8/1.2 megapixels front and back compared to 8/13 megapixels for A2. The pictures taken are fantastic on A2. The battery for A+ is 2200 mAH compared to 2630mAH for A2. So A2 battery is more powerful. A2 comes with a stylus pen. Don't let anyone deceive you A2 is better. Understand from grapevine that Tecno Phantom B is on the way soon and is better than A2. For now go for A2 except you are not comfortable with the size of the phone.

If Tecno is to take a cue from Samsung then customers must be prepared to pay the cost. Both companies appeal to different classes of people. High-end Samsung phones don't come cheap. Their batteries may be better than Tecno but that is what you are paying for. You are paying for all the A class stuff on Samsung. Tecno is mostly for those that can't afford Samsung or not ready to spend N100,000+ on a smartphone. Please note that the length of time a battery lasts depends on what you use the phone for. Your phone battery with 2630mAH may even last up to 3 days if you are onlyu sing it to call and receive calls. Your battery will run down fast if you have on your WI-FI and bluetooth and are not even using them. You must turn them off when not in use. At any rate I have a Tecno Phantom A2 and the battery is perfect. The phone is also very good with a fantastic camera.

Never heard of this Jiamu or what is it called phone till I read this submission. Tecno is very popular. I have the Phantom A2 phone now and it is performing well.

Heard from Tecno staff in Computer village that there own Tecno A2 would come with a powerbank and a pouch. They dont have it yet because NAHCO? (where goods are cleared from) was close down due to some tax issues. It is open now.

I got my Tecno Phantom 2A today for N42,000 at computer village. It does not come with a pouch or power bank. I understand the pouch will be available next week but you have to pay for it. The phone is very good. The only accessories that come with it are charger, ear-phone, stylus pen, manual.

The person that did the write-up on Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and Tecno Phantom A2 is just being mischievious. In any country we have different classes of people - low-, middle- and high- income earners. Although I fall between middle and high- income earner, I will not spend over N100,000 to buy a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 cell phone. So Tecno Phantom A2 and Blackberry phones (have a Bold 4) are ok for me. As one of us in this forum noted, you ought to buy a phone according to what you want. If 1G RAM is ok for me, why must I go for Samsung Galaxy that has 3G RAM. Tecno has not informed us that that they produced Phantom A2 to compete with Galaxy Note 3. Rather they have produced a phone for those that can't afford or don't desire to have an expensive Samsung Note 3. Soup wey sweet well well, cost money. Tecno's specs are much lower than Samsung's so it is logical that it would be cheaper.If you can't afford to watch DSTV because of the cost, go for Startimes or other cheaper cable providers. The bottomline is what you can afford. You can't compare DSTV programming with what Startimes offer. Just trying to give an analogy. I rest my case.

Was about buying the Phantom A+ at computer village today but only got the white colour although most stores were out of stock. At a particular store where I got the white one (I want the black one), the lady that attended to me saw disappointment written all over my face. She told me not to worry, a better version, Phantom 2A will be coming out Monday/Tuesday. I understand that the price will be less than N50,000, maybe around N45,000. For those who are tired of Tecno coming out with phones every 2 months, brace up, I understand Tecno Phantom B which is better than Tecno Phantom 2A is on the way. It is still undergong trial runs.The Tecno Phantom 2A has better battery life, camera and screen size. I think the screen is too big at 5.7in (Phantom A+ is 5in). I am not really happy with the way Tecno comes out every 2 months with phones because it makes it difficult to sell your old phone.

Does anyone know if Tecno is coming up soon with another Phantom A, for example Phantom A++. They seem to churn out too many phones within a short space of time.The Phantom A+ followed the Phantom A with the speed of lightning, while Phantom A followed Tecno N7 within a short space of time. This what is delaying me from buying the Phantom A+ now.

Rooting is too complicated for me. Does anyone know where one can get this done even if it means paying for the service?

I don't think the will is fake. The woman Bianca most likely manipulated the man when he was sick and very vunerable to re-write his Will. Folks, do not be penny wise and pounds foolish!!!!!! This is not a blackbery phone but a cheap chinese imitation. They do not last (less than 1 year) and cannot be repaired. Blackbery phones have a pin number. Without the pin number you cannot access facebook, twitter etc . You have to do it through the blackberry internet sevice(BIS). You have to subscibe to the service through MTN, Airtel, etc. It costs R3000 Monthly. Don't be deceived - blackberry phones don't have radio and dual SIM!!!!!! How convienent to have your office in Bauchi!!!! 419!!!!! Why no outlet in Lagos, Kaduna, Port-Harcourt and Abuja?. Folks don't part with your money. If you have 20k now, save it!!! Save gradually every week or month. By December, you will have the 65k to buy a brand new original blackberry bold 2 phone at least. It costs 65k at SLOT now. By December, the price would have dropped further. Alternatively add another 15k and get an original Blackbery Curve or other original blackberry phones lower than the Bold 2. Smart asshole!!! Wanting people to pay into bank account and wait for 48 hours for delivery!!!! What if nothing is delivered. Then you go to Bauchi (at what cost?) and discover there is no office!!!!!!!

My opinion is that it is a complete rip-off. This is how DSTV allowed HITV in. Greediness!!!! More entertainment channels ought to have been added. At least one movie channel, crime and investigation channel, etc. Why not show the football channel (I think channel 204 or is it 213?). N2300 extra for compact plus for only 2 channels!!!!!! I will stay with my DSTV Compact in the hope that one day and very soon too, a real competitor will arrive on the scene and give DSTV a real "fight". Unfortunately HITV had a faulty business model - focussing mainly on football which was not sustainable. However they shook DSTV but not enough to knock them off!!!!!

The cookies have crumbled. What is left is not worth rebranding. Better merge with DSTV. No EPL, no HITV. Last year we were discussing this faulty model of HITV in this forum. I was insulted. Instead of sharing the EPL with DSTV, HITV refused. Bidding for $115m just to outbid DSTV. Is this model reasonable? In South Africa, DSTV only pays $35m for EPL.

DSTV I am sure is thinking ahead. I am sure they will come with another bouquet that caters for football addicts. Then HITV would be finally buried since they would have snatched almost all HITV's subscibers.

This should be a lesson for other upcoming local entrepeneurs.
