Unfortunately this is the sad reality that we live in. Govt introduces a scheme to safeguard it's citizens but makes the process cumbersome, and open to exploitation and corruption. Sometimes there is no need for these .....most students in Lagos have lassra (which wasn't easy to get) why not use that? Just discovered that to get a passport, I must get a letter from local govt ... Why? I already have NIN .... Hmmm |
This is a vulture..... Can't recall it exact name, but it's definitely a vulture |
This is sad! Effect of hunger in the land and yet see mumu people harrasing her, while they applaud leaders steal billions and deprive them of basic needs |
depends on where you want to get it done. Just had mine done in Ikeja lagos (Maxivision) cost is circa 450 all inclusive, surgery lasts about 30 mins, and immediate discharge with some follow up. Zero likelihood of complications. LUTH will charge you about 70k, but the experience is horrible. Went to LUTH first, (waiting hours on end to see doctor,) finally booked for surgery which would require 3 day admission. trust me if you can afford it, go to Maxivision |
N250k? for that kind of invention when will our governments get things right? this man should be given a scholarship to attend research institutes abroad and encouraged to return home to develop this machine. Imagine what the future of this machine holds - cheap fuel from nylon bags that we throw away daily; a resourceful way to alleviate our garbage issues by recycling our plastic bags into useful products. Instead some clueless Governor gives him 250k and a kiss goodbye and we wonder why technology in Nigeria doesn't move forward> mtscheeeeeeew |

Sultan, i believe the mechanic diagnosed the engine issues and said i needed to replace one faulty coil which he thinks is the problem, we did, same prob, we replaced the filter, and cleaned the fuel line, same thing. Are you a mechanic, perhaps i can get you to visit and look at the car? |
Guys, thanks for the response. One major issue i have is that the engine goes off while idling for about 5 - 7 minutes. it will start thereafter, but it can be an inconvenience in heavy traffic. I also have issues with the suspension (front) the last mechanic changed the bearings but the problem persist and now he wants to replace the front shocks .................. let me know your views |
I drive a 2002 Lincoln LS and i'm in need of a competent and honest (?) mechanic who REALLY understands the car and can solve problems i'm having with the car, as well as procure original parts. i can be contacted through this forum, and i will be checking periodically to follow responses. |
