Now, the US is the biggest market of iPhone. A high school student can easily afford to get the latest version. All they need to do is do small weekend jobs or campus job and boom, they buy the new iPhone.
As for working class, I can easily swap for the new one and it would be on my monthly credit payment… (I won’t even feel it)
Yet you don’t see adults rushing to update iPhones every year. You see many people earning over 200k dollars per annum. Or managers collecting bonus whey pass 500k dollars sef yet using iPhone 12. They change phones only when it becomes very necessary

But Nigerians! iPhone is what they use to settle class.. very “cave man” of a mentality

I tell people that Nigeria doesn't really have an FX inflow problem, the major problem is outflow fueled by corruption, there is more export of the dollars than the import of it, if government officials steal billions of naira monthly only to mop up the existing dollars that should be used for productive things in Nigeria to buy properties abroad and store in their bank accounts abroad, 2 things happen, the naira keeps getting devalued and scarcity of dollars keeps taking place which in turn shoots prices of imported goods up.

The question is what has Tinubu done to stop that cycle?

In Nigeria, many people especially in the south admire and respect fraudsters. They are seen as successful, and even many parents want their daughters to marry them. This is the reality here, and we can't ignore it. Fraudsters should face long jail time like murderers until they choose a better, more honest way to live. #SayNoToFraud
