PoliticsRe: Arrest Ribadu Wherever He Is Sight - Code Of Conduct Tells Security Agencies by ozalogbo: 2:21am On Nov 21, 2009
There is too much of sentiments in some people when it comes to anything that touches on Ribadu. We must put away sentiments and deal with facts. It is a criminal offence for a public offical not to declare his assets. Did Ribadu not know this, as a police officer and a lawyer? He should come home and face the charges against him and defend himself. His shouts about people being after his life are just a ploy to evade justice and win public sympathy. From his calculation, he knew the law was closing in on him, that was why he had to find a good reason to escape. The wicked runs when no one is after him. Ribadu, come home like a man and face the charges against you, instead of staying abroad and throwing stones from there.

RomanceRe: Man Or Woman Who Suffer Heartbreak Most ? by ozalogbo: 8:14pm On Nov 20, 2009
Usually a woman gets hurt the most, but again it all depends on the circumstance. The fact that you were dump in a relationship does not necessarily mean you suffer heartbreak most; rather, when a relationship ends, it is he/she who loved more that gets heartbreak, more.

RomanceRe: Will You Accept A Gift From An Ex? by ozalogbo: 8:07pm On Nov 20, 2009
That you both have remained friends in spite of the break up might be an indication that there is much you share beyond romance. In that case, you accept them. My ex sent me a text recently that she was broke and needed some cash. I helped her, no strings attached.
PoliticsRe: Justice Awokulehin Agrees To Discharge Ibori; Uniben Reinstates Him To Give “fou by ozalogbo: 6:06pm On Nov 20, 2009
A lot of the things you read in saharareporters are mere propaganda. What most people do not know is that Ibori is both loved and admired by many Nigerians, especially Deltans and those from the South South, just the way he has a lot of irredeemable enemies. In the first place, Uniben staff and students never, i repeat, never protested against the choice of Ibori as speaker. He is an alumnus of the university of Benin. The write up in saharareporters was actually meant to incite, the students but it failed to achieve this. This is why saharareporters wrote again to say the rejection was cancelled. There was no rejection in the first place. I can assure you that the students of uniben are actually preparing to give him a heroic welcome. The students who are preparing to welcome him are not a rented crowd! A few days ago, a loyal boy to a former deputy governor was in Uniben to give N250, 000 to some student leaders to incite others to carry placards and protest. The promise is that after the protest, the remaining N250, 000 would be given to them. The guys accepted the money, but they will disappoint them. The plan B is that if this fails, a few students from other schools who will be on standby will be quickly mobilised to carry placards with photographers nearby to take some shots and then disperse the foreigners immediately. Then in a couple of hours, headlines will begin to fly, 'Uniben students protest against Ibori during lecture'. We know why many of these people are having sleepless nights over Ibori.

RomanceShould I Reunite? by ozalogbo(op): 8:16pm On Nov 19, 2009
There was this girl I dated for two years. I loved her very much, and I knew she loved me too. We were both headed for marriage, and because of our moral convictions, sex was not part of the relationship. But unfortunately, we broke up. It began when she ran into an old friend. They exchanged numbers and the guy began to call her regularly, and paid her visits. Several months passed without my knowing. What began as casual reunion of old friends blossomed into love. My girl’s attitude began to change, and I knew something was wrong. I probed her and she opened up about the guy. She confessed she loved him, but promised to take care of it. Things dragged on for months. Painfully as the months went by, her love for him increased and indeed she told me she was confused. Eventually, the guy took advantage of her and deflowered her. I was heartbroken and ended the relationship. I stopped calling or seeing her. Although she apologized and sent text messages, I just felt I could not marry such a woman.  For over a year we didn’t see, and she called me sometimes. On my birthday she called to wish me happy birthday. Her birthday was a month before mine, but I didn’t call her.

Last week, we met at a wedding. We both knew the couple in the good old days. Surprisingly, my old love for her awakened. I saw remorse and a wish for reunion in her eyes. I have a good girl I want to marry, but I must confess I had greater feelings for my ex. Since that day, she has called me twice, just to say hi, and my breaks to hear her voice. Honestly, I still love her, but is it safe to reunite? A brother has counseled against a reunion with her because, said he, I will never forget that she gave her virginity to someone else while dating me, and I might resent her in future. Please get me clear, it is not about her virginity, it is about betrayal. Shamefully, I think about her often, and my present girl, with all her good qualities has begun to fade in my eyes… not that my ex was not an equally good girl. Please, nairalanders, counsel me. I am 31. my reasoning is crumbling under the weight of my feelings.
