Firstly am a complete atheist (if there is anything like that). Why i was relaxing this evening reading some articles i got online, this thought came to my mind and i kept wondering and pondering on it. here is it

Scientist have made us to understand that the difference between the DNA of man and apes is just 1%. Take a good look at what humans (homo sapiens) have accomplished so far. we have built great houses, cars, aeroplanes and space rockets, we have travel far and wide outer space, recreate a full human through cloning, and so many things scientist and great men of old have achieved. what has the apes done so far? nothing. just a single difference of 1% in our genetic make up and we are miles ahead of them. In-fact it has even be proven that humans use only 10% of their brain in theirs entire life time.

here is where am heading to: if there exist a being who has a genetic make up that is 50% more advance than ours or even 100%, can you imagine what that being might be capable of? he may probably not give a damn about us, because as far as he is concern our IQ is too low to get in our affairs. could such a being (if there is) not be capable of creating the universe? if scientist with 1% gene different from apes can create a sample of the sun, what do you think a being who has a DNA 100% different from apes would do?

Maybe am getting it all mixed up, but if you get the point am trying to make, i will like to hear you opinions.

Plenty of atheist scientists didn't accept that the Higgs bosun existed, but once it was detected at CERN, pretty much all of them admitted they were wrong.

Einstein didn't believe that the universe was expanding, or in the Big Bang theory, but as the evidence mounted he changed his mind.

Most doctors didn't believe that ulcers were caused by germs or that any germ could even survive in the highly acidic stomach. But once Barry Marshal and Robin Warren proved them wrong, they admitted their mistake, rewrote all their textbooks and gave them a Nobel prize.

You claim that atheists won't accept evidence that god exists? Why don't you show us some of this evidence then instead of assuming we'll reject it?

And only valid, verifiable and reproducible evidence please. No fake TB Joshua miracles.

thats another question i forgot to ask. Why do you people always relate, compare and contrast the idea of god with abstract things? Ask me if i see the sun, the moon or effect of chemicals on the body and i wil answer you.

why cant god show himself and end all the argument about his existence? From history uptil now the idea of god has always been man's invention. Starting from genesis uptil this day it has always been thesame story, god said, i heard him, he touched me, i saw a man in white in my dream, we saw cross from the moon, the holy spirit spoke to me etc...
When ever you ask a christain or a muslim why he his worshipping something he doesnt have any idea of, they start quoting from books written by ancient men and thats all they have and all u wil get.
My main reason for çreating this thread is for the religious folks to tell me the reason why their god cant simply reveal himself to mankind? We that earnestly seek for a substantial evidence to believe dont get any, instead we must accept by faith. Why cant he just reveal himself for all mankind to believe?

i have been a xtain for too long. I think i love the way of the chineese. My china neighbour told me these words to this morning " am not an athiest, agnostic, xtain or muslim, am just me". I quite concur with him, cos am just me nothing else.
The fact is that, if there was once a good god, he no longer exist.

after all the evil deeds their god committed in the bible, even killing the whole world saving few, they dnt see a problem with it. Why?becos he repented and gave us a new testament.
If xtains are ok wit the killings in the bible by a god who says he remain thesame yesterday, today and forever and he changeth not, then al xtains shud be ok wit the killings of
mao - killed apt 70m ppl
joseph stalin - apt 28m ppl during the great purge
adolf hitler - the nazist that killed apt 8 to 12m ppl
the rwanda genocide that claim apt the life of 1m ppl.
And many more..etc. If they all did repent before their demise, acording to the bible, we can safely say that they are currently dancing azonto in heaven.
Even if the xtain god is real and he is the one to be worship, i stil wil not worship him except he appears to me and give me concrete reasons why he committed so much evil in the past.

Two villages decided 2 hav a drinking competition. A week to d competition, village(A) sent Big joe to village (B) to confirm if the competition will still hold. On arrival, the people of village (B) brought 20ltrs of their strongest kachasu brewd beer . Big joe from village (A) asked if he could taste & he was permitted to. Instead of jst tasting,He finished d 20litres at once, den said "Dis is ok... where z the main drink?" the king & people of village (B) wereall shocked,coz nobody takes more thn 5litres of the drink & stand breathing! how come no one has mentioned hong gil dong. A very nice korea movie of just 3 season. Titanic made me cry. But since titanic only hong gil dong and a walk to remember (just felt sad) have ever made me cry. If u watch hong gil dong to the end, no matter how hardened hearted u are u wil definately cry real tears. Its a funny movie too.
