The name Odette is the female version of Otto, from the Old High German words "otho" and "odo", which are derived from the French word "auda" meaning "rich". Therefore, Odette is of French and Old German origin, and its meaning is "wealth". Wiki..
i didn't know Germans are "bi-racial" that is they have both black and white races there...
Later they'd publish one stupid news telling us how the northerners have already registered 150million individuals while the south has had refused to show up to be registered... SMH
These are some of the things/agencies I will never waste my time reading a long epistle about them: 1. Buhari 2. Police 3. Nepa/phcn 4. Apc
It's not because I have any personal beef with them or something, it's just because they have directly or indirectly been the cause of Nigeria's deteriorating image.
I jumped up from my bed just same way you realise you weren’t urinating in the toilet in your dream, rather, you just BED WETTED IN REAL LIFE!
Preparing by 7am for work that starts by 8am made me realise that God bestowed the ‘fast’ skill on me even better than what he bestowed on Usian Bolt.
7:15am – I saw myself boarding a keke (Tricycle) to where I can get a bus straight to the office. Oh my God! I just repented yesterday from giving flimsy excuses for late coming and I have already seen myself backsliding today! Struggles of being perfect……sigh! No thanks to the Lagos Traffic for contributing to my late coming.
I hurriedly took a peep at my fellow passengers in the Keke. Seated by my left was a young girl on her way to school who probably was still in primary school. While on my right was a young man who I guess was in the same ‘late’ situation with me.
Suddenly, the Keke driver’s phone rang, he picked the call as he kept on driving. I noticed the young girl beside me became uneasy and poked the driver. The driver felt the young girl has reached her destination, so he ended the call and stopped the Keke so she can come down.
I am not coming down here! The young girl claimed
‘Okay’ said the keke driver as he drove off.
The driver’s phone rang the second time. He picked the call and kept driving. Immediately, the young girl gave the driver a slight blow that made him stop swiftly.
Shey you talk say you never reach where you go drop, why you come dey disturb me? The driver queried. “STOP TALKING ON THE PHONE WHILE DRIVING. DO YOU WANT TO CAUSE AN ACCIDENT? WHAT YOU ARE DOING IS VERY WRONG! – she retorted
A strange silence filled the keke immediately. Seconds later, the other passenger and I wore a bright smile on our faces. “Well done, girl! I am proud of you”, I said in my thought.
I couldn’t help but ponder on what happened in the Keke as I entered the office by 8:30am,! By the way, I came to work before my supervisor, so I had no one to query me. Yay! God gat my back, in fact, my whole body.
Back to the matter; what the young lady did in the Keke is what many of us overlook. I am so proud of the school she attends and her ability to practice what she learns. This shows the level of quality education the young girl receives in school and even at home.
This also shows that there is hope for the future of Nigeria. Imagine if all the children in Nigeria get quality education, what a powerful economy Nigeria will become.
There are many children out there that do not have anyone to put them in a quality and affordable school due to various reasons. We aim at achieving the Sustainable Development Goal of Quality Education in Nigeria by 2030. Hope you aren’t hoping on the government, because government cannot achieve this alone, it is you and I that can make this happen.

Here are some suggestions that could help us achieve this 1. Sponsor a child through school (To tertiary level or beyond) 2. Improve the quality service delivery of a school by volunteering to teach the students, 3. Endeavour to get QUALIFIED STAFF (Owners and managers of schools) 4. Make sure your academic curriculum is up-to-date (Owners , managers and teachers of schools) 5. Ensure students what they are being taught (Teachers and Parents) 6. Donate or contribute massively to improve the quality of a school (such as donating classroom equipment, giving scholarships to outstanding students, renovating a school etc) 7. You could build a school that offers quality and affordable or free education
A big thank you to all those who in one way or the other have and is still contributing to Quality Education in Nigeria.

WinningSun: I really appreciate the efforts of your governor to attract the relocation. however, the main issue that those companies left have not been address. the issue of security. can a white man walk on the street of uyo to shoprite without the locals seeing him as a ransom tickets.
and also the excessive bickering by the youth that demands the impossibility. like telling them on quotas of people they can employed from other region
are you guys willing to see the influx of other tribe like ibo Yoruba hausas and host of others buying land and engaging in development activities.without telling them that they're strangers. Will you feel comfortable with this arrangement.
so, you are indirectly saying that security can never be achieved in akwa ibom but only in Lagos why are you people so deluded like this? The popular badoo crap where are they?
When the akwa ibom youths are gainfully employed, do you think they'd still have time for kidnapping? Think and stop spewing thrash while trying to defend rubbish.
The only safe state in Nigeria is Lagos therefore everything should be located there, what a complete rubbish thing to say.
