Hello Fans, this article is going straight to new bees or those who don’t actually know how to make use of there new iphone or ipad.Did you bought a new ipad or iphone. and your airtime is being wiped off even when you are not making use of the iphone cellular data connection. Today you are going how to disable cellular data on Iphone or Ipad.

Also For most of us, cellular data through our carrier is limited. Whether you’re traveling internationally or you’re about to hit your data cap for the month, turning off cellular data completely lets you rest assured you won’t be hit with overage charges. Here’s how:

How To Disable Cellular Data on Iphone or Ipad :

Launch the Settings app on your iPhone or cellular capable iPad.
Now tap on Cellular — on the iPad, it’s labeled Cellular Data.
Turn the option for Cellular Data to Off.

Alternately, if you’re only concerned with roaming charges, you can turn off Data Roaming in the same menu as cellular data. This option should stop your iPhone or iPad from roaming on any network other than your provider’s. Another great option for international travel. However, I have heard stories of people using this option and still getting hit with overages. If you want to play it safe, it’s best to disable cellular data altogether when traveling abroad.

Wiko Sunset2 Specification And Price

Judging by its specifications, the Wiko Sunset2 is an Android smartphone that is produced with entry-level users in mind. The budget smartphone is the successor of the Wiko Sunset and sports a decently bright 4-inch display, while packing a dual-core processor under the hood and also offering impressive browsing speeds.

Build and Screen :

The Wiko Sunset2 does not deviate from what you would ordinarily expect of a budget device with its plastic construction. At 121 grams, the phone is relatively lightweight and should not be inconvenient to carry around.

It is available in several colours with a touch of summer. The Wiko Sunset2 features a 4-inch diagonal touch display with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. The pixel density of 233 ppi means you have a vivid display in this one.

The smartphone has an inbuilt storage capacity of 4 GB – barely sufficient given a significant portion of it would have been taken up by system resources. However, you be able to add up to 32 GB more using a microSD card.
Hardware and Software :

The Wiko Sunset2 is powered by a dual-core Cotex-A7 processor, which is clocked at a speed of 1.3 GHz. The chip is paired with a measly 512 MB of RAM, essentially meaning there is a significant limit to the level of multitasking you should expect this phone to handle.

The Wiko Sunset2 runs on Android 4.4 KitKat operating system, offering decent level of responsiveness with the aid of the processor.
Other Features :

Juice is supplied for the Wiko Sunset2 by a 1300mAh Li-ion battery, which its maker says offers up to 14 hours of talk time. You also get to enjoy dual-SIM functionality, enabling you separate different aspects of your life.

Facebook Lite: Facebook announces a lighter App for slower networks.Facebook Lite App For Slower Networks.

Today, Facebook announced that they are now rolling out the Facebook Lite app in countries across Asia, and over the coming weeks, in Latin America, Africa and Europe. We first heard about the app earlier this year but it seemed like it was still in the works.

For many entry level smartphone users, the Facebook app is heavy and takes a lot of memory leaving too little space for other apps. Meanwhile, many users would still need to install more Facebook apps like Pages Manager, Groups, or Messenger all of which are heavy too. Memory aside, the Android Facebook app is a data guzzler and may not work well with slow internet speeds. So Facebook Lite would make a lot of sense to the majority of smartphone users in Asia and Africa. According to Facebook
More than a billion people around the world access Facebook from a range of mobile devices on varying networks. In many areas, networks can be slow and not able to support all the functionality found in Facebook for Android. Facebook Lite was built for these situations, giving people a reliable Facebook experience when bandwidth is at a minimum.

Facebook Lite is less than 1MB making it fast to install and quick to load. It allows you to access most of what you love on the usual Facebook like News Feed, status updates, photos and notifications. Since the app inst yet available for Africa, we weren’t able to experience it. Stay Put and always check in ,to know when the App is in Africa.
WHat do you think about this apphuhhuhhuhhuhhuhhuhhuhhuhhuhhuhhuhhuh??

You can now call using WhatsApp for Windows phone.

Voice call update windows phone :You can now call using WhatsApp for Windows Phone.
According to the latest update from the Windows Store, you can now call your friends and family using WhatsApp for free, even if they’re in another country. WhatsApp calls use your phone’s Internet connection rather than your cellular plan’s voice minutes. Furthermore, according to the listing by WhatsApp, they warn that you cannot access 911 or any other emergency call lines from the platform.

However, the voice call update is available only for Windows Phone 8 or higher.

Another update that came with this new version of WhatsApp is the ability to now send audio files.

Despite backlash from WhatsApp users especially in Africa about the quality of the voice calls, the social messaging giant is pushing boundaries of enabling communication for cheap (or even free, depending on your data bundles) as along as you have an internet connection.

Download the update for your Windows Phone here.

How to Set Beats 1 as Your Alarm on iPhone

Someone ask me yestday, what if you want to use Beats 1 as your alarm in the morning? Here’s how to do it.
Setting any song from Apple Music as your morning alarm on the iPhone is fairly easy to do, as it’s a built-in feature in iOS 8.4. However, if you’re wanting to use Beats 1 as your main morning alarm sound, the process is a bit more time-consuming, but can be worth it in the end.
Beats 1 is the all-new radio station featured in Apple Music, which is the company’s new music streaming service that aims to take on the rest of the music streaming market, including Spotify and Pandora.

However, unlike other music services, the Beats 1 radio station is controlled by real DJs, so the music you hear was hand-selected by real people instead of using algorithms like other music services do.
Plus, Beats 1 includes more than just music, but also interviews with famous artists and special shows that feature certain genres of music.
If you’re interested in using Beats 1 as your alarm on your iPhone, here’s how to set it up.
Before You Begin
The most important thing to know here is that in order to get Beats 1 to play as your morning alarm on the iPhone, your iPhone will need to be jailbroken.

sources-for-cydia
cydia
If it’s already jailbroken, that’s half the battle. If not, it’s not difficult at all to jailbreak your iPhone or iPad. We have a handy guide that takes you through the process, but be aware that jailbreaking isn’t for everyone, and there are a few reasons as to why you shouldn’t jailbreak, so jailbreak this at your risk if you decide to do so.
Once you’re jailbroken, the hardest part is over, essentially, but that’s just the first step.
Install Activator
Once your iPhone is jailbroken, you’ll now need to install Activator, which is a jailbreak app that will allow you to set Beats 1 as your alarm in the morning.

How to Set Beats 1 as Your Alarm on iPhone
activator iphone
To install Activator, simply open up Cydia and search for “Activator”. It will show up in the list and you’ll want to select it. On the next page, tap Install in the top-right corner to install the app to your iPhone.
After it installs, you’ll be asked to respring your device, and from there, you can then open up Activator to begin setting up Beats 1 as your morning alarm.
Setting Up Beats 1 As Your Alarm

Once you have Activator open, it’s time to configure some settings so that you can listen to Beats 1 as you wake up. Setting this up can get a bit confusing, but we’ll guide you through the process so that it isn’t as daunting as you may think.
First, tap on Anywhere in Activator and then select More in the top-right corner. From there, select Scheduled from the list and pick the days of the week as well as the time that you want the Beats 1 station to play. This is also the time that you want your alarm to go off. Hit Save once you’ve selected days and a time, and then tap Done on the next page

alarm iphone

Next, scroll down until you get to the Scheduled section and tap on the time that you set up previously. Tap More in the top-right corner and select Ask Siri. In the text box next to Question, type in “Play Beats 1″ and then hit Save.

How to Set Beats 1 as Your Alarm on iPhone

Essentially what this does is send a command to Siri to play Beats 1 at a specific time. Since there’s no other way to play Beats 1 at a certain time, this is the next best option, and it works quite well.
You don’t need to set an alarm in the Clock app either, since setting up this trick in Activator will act as the alarm anyway. You could set up a backup alarm of sorts, just in case the Activator trick doesn’t work on some random morning, but otherwise, it should work great, and you’ll be able to listen to Beats 1 right as you wake up.
This is especially a neat trick to do if you enjoy having some variety in your morning alarms. Some people just don’t like listening to the same alarm tune every morning, so having the ability to mix things up is a great feature to have.

PhonesHow To Get Window 7 Start Menu In Window 8 by ozoneprince(op): 7:54pm On Jul 01, 2015
HOW TO GET WINDOW 7 START MENU IN WINDOW 8

Let’s say you’ve just installed Windows 8.1 for the first time, or perhaps bought your first Windows 8 PC. After poking around for a bit you’ve finally found your way to the desktop. In the bottom left corner, you’ll see what looks like the Start button, but when you click it, you’ll be rewarded with a hideous new Start screen, not the Start menu that you know and love from Windows 7 and Vista. For some reason, despite the aforementioned series of updates over the last two years that are meant to make Windows 8 more user friendly for mouse-and-keyboard users, Microsoft is still forcing us to use the Metro interface instead of a real Start menu.

The good news is, despite Microsoft’s best efforts to ensure that the Start button and menu remain banished from its new OS, there are a bunch of third-party Windows 8 Start menu replacement apps that you can download today. Really, it goes to show how devoted the existing user base is. Microsoft completely stripped out the underlying Start menu code to quash potential Luddite revolutionaries, and yet now there are dozens of Start menu and Start button replacements — some of which are even superior to Microsoft’s own Windows 7 Start menu.

If you’re running Windows 8.1 today and want the Start menu back, take a look at our list of the best, least expensive, and most authentic Windows 8 Start menu replacements.

WINDOW 7 START MENU IN WINDOW 8

Start Menu Reviver 2

Start Menu Reviver 2 is a touch-screen-friendly option — one of the few that is, considering most people want the original Start menu back because they’re used to a keyboard and mouse. In this case, the new version is nicer, with plenty of sizing options and the ability to create shortcuts for documents, music, video, websites, and other tasks. It also embraces the Windows 8 tile design, without completely taking over the UI the way Windows 8 Metro does. It now includes scrolling tiles and a Windows 7-like mode as well.

Download Start Menu River 2 (free)

ViStart

ViStart is one of the most customizable Start menu restorers for Windows 8, and lets you choose from a variety of skins. ViStart includes a blurred, translucent menu that integrated well with Windows 8, as well as a Windows 7-like Start Menu skin that we imagine some people will want to head straight for. It also speeds up program launches thanks to built-in indexing, and advertises a faster-than-Windows-7 search option for your local PC.

Download ViStart (free)

Classic Shell

Classic Shell is free, open-source donationware that gives you the option of a classic (Windows 98ish), Windows XP, or Vista/7 Start menu. At its most basic, it replaces the Windows 8 Start button on your taskbar — but as always with third-party utilities, it has a ton of other features and settings that you can tweak to your heart’s content (in Classic Shell’s case, there are probably too many tweakable settings). One strong point of Classic Shell is that it successfully rebinds your Start key, so that the Start menu pops up instead of the new Metro Start screen. Hitting the Start key from Metro pops up Classic Shell, too

Take care while installing Classic Shell, though: It’s not just a Start menu replacement, and if you’re not careful you will end up installing Classic IE and Classic Explorer, too.

Download Classic Shell (free)

Start Menu 8

If you want the Windows 7 Start menu look-and-feel, but you’re not prepared to fork out a few dollars for StartIsBack or Start8, Start Menu 8 is another solid alternative. With this one, you get a fair amount of configurability, and a handful of Windows 8-specific toggles that are very useful. By default, StartMenu8 will skip the Windows 8 Start screen and go straight to the Desktop, and disable Windows 8’s hot corners. There’s also the option to disable the sidebar, the StartMenu8 button icon can be altered, and you can add and remove which links appear up the right side of the Start menu.

Overall, Start Menu 8 looks and feels a bit clunky — and, incidentally, watch out for some annoying bundleware during the installation process.

Review-HP Spectre X360,HP Spectre x360 is the business laptop with a twist. My review of the new HP Spectre x360 laptop. This is one versatile business notebook for any user.

After purchasing this Hp Spectre x360 for my friend ,i decided to rate it,after using it for few weeks now.

I can tell you this is a rock-solid business laptop. I won’t bore you with the full specs, since they are just a click away and (really) most laptops use a similar set of components these days under the hood.
Tech throws its weight behind marriage ruling with rainbows, emojis and software

READ NOW

That said, it’s a Windows 8.1 laptop that lasts up to 12.5 hours per charge and has a fast Intel Core processor meant for serious work. I tested the high-end model with a 2560×1440 pixel 13-inch screen, 8GB of RAM, a Core i7 CPU, and a 512GB solid state drive (SSD) for $1400. A model with 4GB, a Core i5, and a 128GB SSD costs $900.

The real selling point here is what you can do with the 13-inch display. It flips all the way back around to work like a Windows tablet, which made me question why I’d want to bring along my iPad Mini on business trips. (In fact, when I did go on a trip, I didn’t miss the iPad.) You can use apps like Skype or Evernote that support finger taps and swipes, and the x360 is light enough to actually work in your lap during meetings or on the sofa at home.

The display also works fine in “tent” mode where you prop one up on a table. I used one to play an entire movie at my desk in the background while I did some invoicing on a second computer. It’s handy because, in tent mode, you can also pause the screen with a finger tap or even swipe to the next app (in my case, a Chrome browser running a news site). You can also turn the screen so it is facing you and the keyboard is pointing down to watch movies or flip through apps (just in case tent mode seems tipsy).

The Spectre x360 has a rugged feel. I’ve tested hundreds of laptops over the past 15 years working as a tech geek, and some of them use a cheaper plastic that could easily scratch or dent even during regular work sessions (not to mention dropping one at an airport–been there, done that). The slightly raised and curved keys felt springy but not overly bouncy like some Lenovo business laptops.

A MUST READ

THINGS TO CONSIDER BEFORE BUYING A LAPTOP

I’m impressed with the build quality of the hinges as well, which seem like they could take some abuse rotating the screen every time you pull the laptop out of your backpack. I’m someone who doesn’t take too many precautions with laptops and treat them like they are a commodity item, something I will probably replace within a year or two. The x360 looks like it could outlast most of my previous laptops, even a Macbook I’ve had for eons.

One other quick note about the x360. HP wanted to make sure you could connect even in a place where there are competing Wi-Fi signals. The antenna is actually located above the screen, so that lid does double-duty in making sure you can get online. I had no trouble getting connected at an airport, in my home office, and at multiple coffee shops.

The laptop is 3.26 pounds, so it’s light enough for everyday use. I’m not a big gamer anymore, but the Core i7 processor was fast enough for HD movies on Google Play, using Google Earth several times, and even playing a few first-person shooters. One perk: You can stream the display wirelessly if you have an Intel Wi-Di receiver in your conference room and no cables for connecting up directly to a monitor.

Overall, the HP Spectre x360 is one of the best (and most versatile) laptops I’ve used, one I recommend as a primary business machine for just about anyone.

“SourceForge are (sic) abusing the trust that we and our users had put into their service in the past,” according to the GIMP project. Since 2013, SourceForge has been bundling junkware along with their installers — sometimes without a developer’s permission.

Don’t download software from SourceForge if you can help it. Many open-source projects now host their installers elsewhere, and the versions on SourceForge may include junkware. If you absolutely have to download something from SourceForge, be extra careful.

Yes, SourceForge Is One of the Bad Download Websites
SourceForge built up a lot of goodwill in the past, being a centralized place for downloading open-source software and hosting software repositories. Over the years, more projects have moved to other repository-hosting services like GitHub.

In 2012, Dice Holdings purchased SourceForge (and Slashdot) from Geeknet. In 2013, SourceForge enabled a feature named “DevShare.” DevShare is an opt-in feature developers can enable for their own projects. If a developer enables this feature, you’ll download their software from SourceForge to find that it’s been wrapped in SourceForge’s own installer, which pushes intrusive junkware onto your system. SourceForge and developers make money by foisting this software on you, just as practically every other download site and freeware distributor does on Windows

DevShare does require a project owner “opt in” to enable this feature on their project, although they’re now hosting a variety of projects bundled with junkware against the wishes of their developers.

Some projects have chosen to jump onboard the DevShare train on their own, and that’s their own choice. FIleZilla was an early participant, and FileZilla’s developer responded to concerns:

“This is intentional. The installer does not install any spyware and clearly offers you a choice whether to install the offered software.”

Chrome blocked us from downloading FileZilla from SourceForge’s website, warning that it “may harm your browsing experience.”

SourceForge and GIMP :
GIMP is a popular open-source image editor — it’s basically the open-source community’s answer to Photoshop. In 2013, GIMP’s developers pulled the GIMP Windows downloads from SourceForge. SourceForge was full of misleading advertisements masquerading as “Download” buttons — something that’s a problem all over the web. SourceForge then rolled out its own Windows installer filled with junkware, and that was the straw that broke the camel’s back. In response, the GIMP project abandoned SourceForge and began hosting their downloads elsewhere.

In 2015, SourceForge pushed back. Considering the old GIMP account on SourceForge “abandoned,” they took control over it, locking out the original maintainer. They then put GIMP downloads back up on SourceForge, wrapped in SourceForge’s own junkware-filled installer. If you’re downloading GIMP from SourceForge, you’re getting a version filled with junkware, one that GIMP’s developers don’t want you to use. SourceForge says they’re providing a valuable service to people looking to download open-source software, but GIMP’s developers strongly disagree.

NG-[A_BA[HEAL_FRAG_ALLC]:FRAGRANCES_300x250
Update: After a lot of negative press, SourceForge has changed their stance. “At this time, we present third party offers only with a few projects where it is explicitly approved by the project developer,” SourceForge wrote in a statement. Given their past actions and the “at this time” wording in their statement, we’d recommend you steer clear of SourceForge anyway. They no longer deserve the trust of the open-source community.

not just gimp

It’s Not Just the GIMP :

Other developers didn’t actually choose to enable DevShare. GIMP is currently listed as “brought to you by: sf-editor1″ on SourceForge. Click through to sf-editor1’s list of projects and you’ll see quite a few projects hosted by SourceForge itself, from Audacity and OpenOffice to Firefox.

Click through to a project’s official website and you’ll find actual download links. For example, Audacity’s homepage redirects you to FOSSHUB to download Audacity, not SourceForge. But searching for “Audacity” on Google still brings up the SourceForge page as the top result.Do not Download Software From SourceForge,

Although SourceForge may no longer be bundling these applications with junkware for the moment, the SourceForge website is still full of misleading advertisements that point you to installers full of junkware.

Avoid SourceForge Downloads :

Avoid using SourceForge to download software. Even if it comes up first in a Google search, skip SourceForge and head to the software project’s official download page. Follow the links to download the program from somewhere else — there’s a good chance the project has moved away from SourceForge and offers clean download links elsewhere.

Or, better yet, skip all the usual downloading and install the most useful applications using Ninite. Ninite is the only safe centralized Windows freeware download site we’ve found.

If you do have to download from SourceForge, be careful to avoid the downloads that include the SourceForge installer. Go out of your way to grab the direct downloads instead.

And, by the way, SourceForge is now bundling junkware with their Mac downloads too — just like Download.com and other websites. Even Mac users aren’t safe, although we haven’t seen DevShare extended to Linux PCs just yet. Everyone should avoid SourceForge downloads, whether you’re running Windows or not.yahoo search sourge_

In our testing, we’ve found that SourceForge’s downloader behaves more nicely in a virtual machine. If you want to see what it actually does, be sure to test it in a real Windows system on a physical machine, not a virtual machine.Do not Download Software From SourceForge,

This is the same sort of behavior that malicious applications are increasingly using to avoid detection and analysis

PhonesTwitter Now Allow Periscope Users Sign In With Phone Number (no Account Needed) by ozoneprince(op): 2:47pm On May 12, 2015
Today Twitter Now Allow Periscope Users Sign In with Phone Number (Not need for Account),After just six weeks on the market, Twitter has announced that it has added major new features to its streaming video app, Periscope, including the ability to sign up for the service without a Twitter account.

The updates, free for all users, were announced in a Medium post a short while ago and signed by Team Periscope.
Other improvements were the result of requests, including the ability change profile pictures from Periscope’s default image, making it easier to reply to chat messages while broadcasting and clearly marking when a user has been blocked.
A tap on the profile avatar will now prompt you to change your photo: you can choose one from your Camera Roll or to shoot a new photo. While in the past you needed a Twitter account to sign up for Periscope — and for existing Twitter users, Periscope still recommends signing up via Twitter — there is now an option to sign up using your phone number.

t is also now easier to reply to comments during a broadcast by tapping the comment and tapping the reply button, after which you’ll see a response including that person’s @handle. Replies that mention you have an arrow.
Also now, when a broadcaster blocks a participant during a broadcast, a message is posted to the chat room indicating that block.
Other changes and fixes include:
Twitter verified badges now appear in the user section and in search.
Your list of following/followers is now sorted by date, not alphabetically.
The Broadcasts section of your profile now shows your full broadcast history (only to you)

PhonesThings To Consider Before Buying An Apple Product by ozoneprince(op): 1:13am On May 10, 2015
Today am gonna be teaching you guys Things To Consider Before Buying An Apple Product ,be it ipad ,Iphone, etc.
With the new iPhone 6 and 6 Plus on the market, buyers of used iPhones check online whether it’s been fully released by the seller.
Apple has published a page on iCloud.com where buyers of second-hand iPhones, iPads and iPods can check the ‘Activation Lock’ status of the device.
A friend of mine bought an iPad 2 on Ebay although it worked fine whe it got here. but when he upgraded it to the the new IOS 8.1 he discovered this.
- See more at: http://.com/things-to-consider-before-buying-an-apple-product/

And there was nothing he could do about it. Apple introduced Activation Lock as part of the Find My iPhone feature in iOS 7 to prevent others from using an iOS 7 device that they had found or stolen. Devices with Activation Lock enabled require the correct Apple ID and password to be entered before a person can turn off Find My iPhone, erase the device, or reactivate and use it.
Prior to Activation Lock, the only option users had if they lost a device was to change their Apple ID password to prevent others from accessing services and accounts, such as iTunes, that were linked to the device.
Police in the US lauded Apple for the additional feature in iOS 7, which helped cut rates of iPhone theft in London and New York by around 30 percent.
While Activation Lock offers additional security to the original owners of devices, it’s a potential problem for a buyer if the previous owner still has rights to the handset under Activation Lock. Alternatively, a device that has been stolen may still have Activation Lock enabled, so the checker tool would provide useful information to a buyer in both cases before handing over cash.

Apple notes in its updated support page when purchasing an iPhone from anyone other than Apple or an authorised reseller, it’s up to the buyer “to ensure that the device has been erased and is no longer linked to the previous owner’s account.”
Apple offers several other steps to check before taking ownership of a second-hand iPhone, including to check a device isn’t passcode locked and the new owner is not during set up being asked to provide the previous owner’s Apple ID and password.
Things To Consider Before Buying An Apple Product .

“Don’t take ownership of any used iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch until it has been removed from the previous owner’s account,” it states.
So buyers, all you simply need is to type a device’s IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity) number or serial number into the field on the ‘Check Activation Lock Status’ page. How to Block Unwanted Apps from Accessing Internet (Android Phones)

n Android, is it possible to block Unwanted Apps from Accessing Internet ? Many apps will often connect to remote servers in the background, including Google’s own apps or system services. Over time this can eat away at a user’s data limit set by a mobile carrier. Does Android allow an app to act as a firewall whereby the user can select which apps have access to the Internet? Or does the device have to be rooted to have that ability?

Here is a way out ,you don not need to root your phone ,to use this process.

Android users living in countries where internet data plan is expensive to turn on/off mobile data periodically. This is to prevent background apps and the so-called unseen forces from draining their data unnecessarily. As an Android user, I must admit that switching your mobile data off/on all the time isn’t comfortable and you tend to get messages late or even miss (emails, Whatsapp, BBM, snapchat etc). In this tutorial I’l guide you on how to configure an app (called Mobiwol) that will allow you block all unwanted (background, seen and the unseen) applications from accessing the internet on your Android devices.

This app is 100% FREE, v.easy to use and you don’t have to root your device before u can use.

Mobiwol is a firewall app for Android devices that allows you to block unwanted apps from accessing internet. It gives you the power to decide which apps to deny internet access to, also allows you to pick if you want to block WiFi access only, block data access only, or block both WiFi and data access.

Follow the steps below to setup Mobiwol and easily block Unwanted Apps from Accessing Internet :

Logon to Google Playstore download Mobiwol or download and install Mobiwol here or alternatively here. By default Mobiwol allows WiFi and mobile data access to all apps. You will have to decide which apps to deny internet and which type of internet access to deny (either WiFi or Mobile data).
If the link is invalid use this http://.com/block-unwanted-apps-from-accessing-internet/

Below are the pictures of how i block Unwanted Apps from Accessing Internet , I blocked Mobile internet access for all apps at once, then I manually allowed internet access for the necessary apps (BBM, Whatsapp, Email, etc). To do this, Open Mobiwol, click on “Firewall Rules” press the menu button on your device, choose mobile and select ‘Block All Mobile’
mobiwol-apps-list-menu-pressed

Next is to manually select which apps to access the internet. simply go into Mobiwol’s “Firewall Rules” and tap the Data icon for the app you want to allow internet access for.
That’s all you need to do, the rules have been set.

NOTE:

There is no save button, all changes are applied as you change them. Once you have completed the steps above ensure the firewall status is switched on.

Science/TechnologySurveymonkey C E O Dave Goldberg Dead by ozoneprince(op): 7:25am On May 04, 2015
SurveyMonkey C E O Dave Goldberg Dead,Silicon Valley and the wider world of technology are mourning the very sudden death of Dave Goldberg, a long time entrepreneur and investor, CEO of SurveyMonkey, husband of Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg, father and friend to many. The news was made public earlier today in a Facebook post from his brother Robert.

“It’s with incredible shock and sadness that I’m letting our friends and family know that my amazing brother, Dave Goldberg, beloved husband of Sheryl Sandberg, father of two wonderful children, and son of Paula Goldberg, passed away suddenly last night,” he wrote. “In this time of sorrow, we mourn his passing and remember what an amazing husband, father, brother, son and friend he was.”

His brother added that in lieu of donations, Sheryl and the couple’s children request that those who would like to share memories or pictures of Dave, to do so on Dave’s Facebook page. It’s filling up quickly with very touching thoughts and pictures, a testament to the person Dave was.

Dave had a large presence in the tech industry, in part because he wore so many hats — and wore them well.

As a founder himself, he had a very early and significant role to play in the digital music industry, by way of Launch Media, a music content service that was eventually acquired by Yahoo.

Then, as the executive leading Yahoo’s music business, he built what was (at the time) the world’s most used online music platform. He was an active investor in other startups and by many accounts was sought out for his wise advice by many.

At SurveyMonkey, Goldberg was leading the company into new territory, not just geographically but also strategically.

On the heels of a $250 million round of funding, he was working on products that would take SurveyMonkey beyond the basic idea of collecting data through online surveys, and into a particularly interesting and timely area of enterprise big data. New products like Benchmarks help companies better analyze the material they picked up in their surveys, for example, by extracting actionable sentiments from that raw information.
Death is never easy, and boy is it sad when it comes too soon. (Is there a right time? I don’t know.) Very deepest condolences from us at to Dave Goldberg’s family

Science/TechnologyMicrosoft Backup App For Contacts And Messages by ozoneprince(op): 7:03am On May 04, 2015
Microsoft Backup App ,

Contacts + Messages Backup App for Windows Phone 8.1 ,Today, Microsoft launched a new application that allows us to back up the message and phone book contacts to memory card. Microsoft has released a new backup application that will allow Windows Phone 8.1 users to completely backup their contacts and messages to an external microSD card.

Unlike traditional apps, once the “Contacts + Message Backup” app is installed, it will be located in the settings section. Although backing up contacts has been a fairly common feature for most devices, Windows Phone has relied on cloud backups since its debut. However, with the new application, you will now be able to backup contacts to a microSD card in the traditional VCF format. The same will apply when backing up SMS or MMS messages. The backup will also be exported to the microSD card but as an XML file. Unfortunately, those using a device without a microSD slot will not be able to take advantage of this application. They will be able to install the app but since it won’t be visible in the app list, they won’t be able to delete it.

Naturally, these backups can be used to transfer the relevant data to another Windows Phone or used in the event your primary device decides to have a fit. Although this is an official release, there is a current known issue for the app that pertains to dual SIM devices. For dual SIM handsets, when restoring data, the application will restore all messages to the first SIM and will not divide the messages properly between SIMs.

The “Contacts + Message Backup” app is now available for those running Windows Phone 8.1 and the download size is just under 1 MB.

PhonesLook Microsoft Launches Visual Studio Code by ozoneprince(op): 7:14am On Apr 30, 2015
Microsoft Launches Visual Studio Code, A Free Cross-Platform Code Editor For OS X, Linux And Windows,

At its Build developer conference, Microsoft today announced the launch of Visual Studio Code, a lightweight cross-platform code editor for writing modern web and cloud applications that will run on OS X, Linux and Windows. The application is still officially in preview, but you can now download it here.

This marks the first time that Microsoft offers developers a true cross-platform code editor. The full Visual Studio is still Windows-only, but today’s announcement shows the company’s commitment to supporting other platforms.

A lot of people use Windows as their development environment, but we are also seeing a lot of people on Linux and Mac,” S. ‘Soma’ Somasegar, Microsoft’s corporate VP of its developer division, told me earlier this week. “Instead of making them go to Windows, we want to meet them where they are.” Developers on these platforms are also often perfectly happy with using a regular code editor like Sublime Text instead of a full IDE like Visual Studio.

Visual Studio Code offers developers built-in support for multiple languages and as Microsoft noted in today’s Build keynote, the editor will feature rich code assistance and navigation for all of these languages. JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js and ASP.NET 5 developers will also get a set of additional tools.
The editor features all of the standard tools you would expect from a modern code editor, including syntax highlighting, customizable keyboard bindings, bracket matching and snippets. Somasegar tells me it also works with Git out of the box and

As Somasegar told me, the new editor is partly based on Microsoft’s experience with writing the online Monaco editor for Visual Studio Online, but the company also worked on bringing some of Visual Studio’s language features to Visual Studio Code. These include the Roslyn project, for example, Microsoft’s .NET compiler platform and Microsoft says the language services it built for Visual Studio Code will be available in other editors as well, including Sublime Text, Vi and Atom.
Some of these language features are also available to other editors. Not too long ago, Microsoft launched a TypeScript plug-in for Sublime Text, for example, and Somasegar tells me the company is committed to launching similar projects in the future (it’s all about meeting developers where they are, after all).

Today’s announcement will surely come as a surprise to many. It does, however, fit in well with the direction the company’s developer group has been on for quite a while now, be that the open sourcing of .NET Core (and taking that platform cross-platform) or the launch of the free Visual Studio Community edition.

Only a few years ago, today’s announcement would have come as a shock. Now, it’s more of a nice surprise.

Look WhatsApp VoiceCalling Feature To iOS Users iphone
Look WhatsApp VoiceCalling Feature To iOS Users iphone,

Less than a month after WhatsApp introduced free voice calls to users of its Android app, so the Facebook-owned company has begun rolling the feature out to its iOS customers.

Like the launch of calling on Android, which was first spotted by eager users in February, the feature will not be available to all Apple device owners at once. The company said it “is rolling out slowly over the next several weeks” — that’s quicker than the Android deployment, but you’ll still need some patience. (Sadly, I don’t appear to have the feature just yet, for what it’s worth.)

With 800 million monthly active users on the WhatsApp service, this feature has the potential to upset a lot of carriers worldwide who have already seen their SMS revenues decimated by the rise of messaging apps. WhatsApp itself handles more messages from its users than there are global SMS sent each day. It’s worth noting, though, that we don’t know how many are on the iOS app.

Today’s iOS app update also includes a few other nifty features, primarily support for the iOS 8 share extension which allows you to send videos, photos and links to WhatsApp chats from other apps. Users can now also take photos quickly inside chats, and there’s an option to send multiple videos at one time — as you can do with photos — each of which can be cropped and rotated before being shared.

The launch of calling for iOS is the latest in a steady stream of updates aimed at making WhatsApp more useful than a mere free text message replacement. Another advancement was the launch of a desktop web client in January, thereby enabling users to keep in touch even when their smartphone is stowed

Google Launches Handwriting Input For Text And Emoji On Android

Google Research today launched its latest project: Google Handwriting Input. Besides their voice and favorite keyboards, Android users using Android 4.0.3 and up can now also simply use good old-fashioned handwriting to input text into any Android app.

The new tool recognizes 82 languages and 20 distinct scripts.

My own handwriting is notoriously unreadable, but Google’s new tool even managed to handle most of my squiggly cursive without too many issues. It had virtually no issues with print.

One cool gimmick here is that Handwriting Input also knows how to render your hand-drawn emojis (and yes, it immediately recognized my attempt to bring up the pile of poo emoji).

It’s worth pointing out that this isn’t Google’s first foray into handwriting recognition, but it’s the first time it is bringing support for its handwriting tools to all of Android. Previously, Google already featured handwriting recognition in the Google Translate app, as well as on mobile search and through the Google Input Tool.

How useful this will be in daily use remains to be seen. Thanks to modern swipe keyboards, text input has become pretty fast and accurate on Android at this point. As Google rightly points out, though, there are plenty of languages in which it’s challenging to type with a standard keyboard. Google specifically points out South Asian languages with complex scripts and ideographic languages like Chinese as examples where handwriting input can be easier for many users. Google already offered special handwriting input for many of these languages, but as the Google Research team notes, this new app combines these efforts and allows both on-device and cloud-based character recognition.

The new app is available in the Google Play store now.

Apple Seeds iOS 8.4 Developer Beta With All New Music App.http://.com/apple-seeds-ios-8-4-developer-beta-with-all-new-music-app/

With iOS 8.3 out the door, it was inevitable that Apple would launch iOS 8.4 in developer preview – and now it’s here. The pre-release software ships with a new version of Apple’s native iOS Music app, complete with a brand new design and a reworked version of iTunes radio.

The release notes for the new version of the beta, as noted by 9to5Mac, describe some of the changes, including the ability to customize playlists with images from your library, and a new Artists view that features imagery of musicians while browsing. Using the Albums view now also enables playback of entire records with a single tap, instead of exposing a track list.

Apple’s Music app in iOS 8.4 also reveals recently added music more easily, putting it at the top of the library by default, which is something more akin to what many streaming services offer in their interfaces. iTunes Radio has also been redesigned to put favorites in a more prominent position, and Features offers hand-curated lists as well as those drawn from your listening habits.

A new MiniPlayer also now persists across the browsing UI, which is also very much in line with what other streaming apps provide in their own apps, and you can queue up subsequent content using a new “Up Next” management panel, changing order and more. Search is also now available throughout the Music app via a loop icon, and users can begin playing back an iTunes Radio station right from any search.
The changes to the Music app seem to also telegraph the eventual arrival of Apple’s revamped streaming music service. You can already see where a Beat Music-style service could be worked into this changes user experience to provide even more flexibility beyond a user’s own library.

Apple is expected to be planning a new streaming music service offering for unveiling at WWDC, the annual developer even it hosts in June, according to information obtained by , as well as independent reports from 9to5Mac. A service integrated into Apple’s existing native Music app for iOS would definitely be one big way to differentiate its offering from those of third-party competitors like Spotify.

Here’s a look at the new app in detail, as tweeted by @9jaextra_com

GoDaddy Acquires Marketplace Startup Elto To Expand Its Services For Web Pros.
http://.com/godaddy-acquires-marketplace-startup-elto-know-why/

Web hosting and web services provider GoDaddy is continuing to expand its resources for small business owners, following its recent IPO. The company has now closed on the acquisition Elto, a San Francisco-based startup which had been offering a marketplace that helped connect business owners and other non-technical people to web developers who could help them establish and improve their web presence.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but Elto had previously raised under a million in angel and seed funding, the former from the founders of 99Designs, and the latter from Australian fund Blackbird Ventures.

Elto, originally known as Tweaky, was founded in 2012 by P.J. Murray and Ned Dwyer, who realized that small business owners were often struggling to find qualified and verified web developers who could create their websites, update them with new functionality, or otherwise generally make improvements and changes on their behalf. On Elto’s marketplace, the company would carefully vet developers who applied, and then help them get connected to small business clients.

As of the time of the acquisition, the company had grown to 25,000 customers, who paid for Elto’s services in one of two ways. They could submit a brief and a project manager would define the scope and give a ballpark price, or they could choose one of a couple of hundred “fixed price” services for things which had more established price points.

According to Dwyer, the projects could range anywhere from $99 up to over $5,000 but the average project size was around $300. He also says the deal makes sense for the startup because many of his customers were already also GoDaddy customers.

“For us, this is an opportunity to reach a bigger scale – 12 million customers versus 25,000 – it’s a completely different beast,” he adds.

The 12 million figure he’s referring to are the 12 million small business customers GoDaddy has today, out of a total customer base of 13 million.

Over the past year, GoDaddy has been working to better understand that customer base and identify their needs in order to help them grow their businesses online and offline.

Now the company is working to expand its offerings and tools for the web professional audience, too. Today, many small business owners may own the actual GoDaddy account, but they want a web pro to handle all the work involved with their website creation and maintenance.
To that end, GoDaddy has recently launched a number of tools to help this web pro audience, including finance management tools, the ability to monitor customers’ sites, delegation tools that let pros log in and act on a customer’s behalf, and more

Many of these tools are now being bundled together in GoDaddy Pro, a brand-new program currently in beta, that’s designed specifically to serve web professionals. The idea with the program is to help web pros make more money and save time, while serving their GoDaddy clients. This is where the new acquisition Elto will now fit in – the marketplace will be transitioned over to become a key piece to GoDaddy Pro in the weeks ahead.

“The biggest opportunity we’ve got right now is connecting these buyers and sellers,” says Jeff King, SVP and GM of Hosting at GoDaddy. “We know these [small business owners] often need help – to get support online, to get help with their technical abilities.”

For now, Elto’s current customer base will be handled separately, but the plan is to transition them to GoDaddy over time.

As a part of GoDaddy, Elto’s pricing may change. Before, notes Dwyer, Elto was seeing 40%-50% margins, but at GoDaddy’s scale they can reduce that down, he says.

Elto was previously a team of ten, but only the two co-founders are joining GoDaddy following the acquisition.

Meanwhile, web pros are now being invited to sign up for GoDaddy Pro, ahead of its public debut.
