Science/TechnologyOffice 2016 For Mac Preview Now Available, No Office 365 Subscription Required - by ozoneprince(op): 10:15am On Mar 06, 2015

Office 2016 For Mac Preview Now Available

Microsoft already told us Office 2016 for Mac was coming, but the public preview is out now as a free download, without any Office 365 subscription required. The updated software includes support for Retina displays, as well as iCloud syncing, and has a look and feel more in tune with the versions of Office currently available on Windows and mobile.
Office 2016 for Mac includes redesigned versions of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote and Outlook for Mac users, and can be installed and used right alongside Office for Mac 2011 for anyone hesitant to switch entirely to pre-release software for their productivity needs. The preview will be updated on an ongoing basis and includes an auto-update feature, and while each new build will expire 60 days after its release, the preview will remain freely available to download until the official launch. When it becomes shipping consumer software, Office 2016 For Mac will be included in the price of an Office 365 subscription.

Some highlights of the updated Office for Mac include support for OneDrive, OneDrive for Business and SharePoint for cross-platform document syncing, as well as the redesigned Ribbon that should provide easier access to tools and formatting for anyone switching from Office for Windows, or who are more used to that software. Not having to look at those annoying down-sampled fuzzy graphics on either the Retina MacBook Pro or Retina iMac is also a huge plus.
We’ll have more in-depth impressions to follow, but since it is a free download, it’s probably worth checking out yourself if you ever find yourself having to work with Office documents on a Mac.

Science/TechnologyMicrosoft Turns To Software To Move Hardware by ozoneprince(op): 10:26am On Mar 04, 2015
Microsoft Turns To Software To Move Hardware

Microsoft announced two new phones yesterday, the Lumia 640 and the Lumia 640 XL. The inexpensive devices are designed to handle global communications, built with dual-SIM slots and the like. They also included something curious: Free Office 365 for a year.

The company currently offers a Surface bundle that includes Office 365, and a cheap HP laptop recently shipped with the same. To my knowledge this is the first Windows Phone device to come equipped with an Office 365 subscription. I’m vamping with Microsoft to confirm the point.

Given the low price of the phones, it’s an almost surprising move. Consumers will be able to pick up the larger XL device at its highest price point for around $250, sans a new contract. Office 365 costs between $70 and $120 per year, depending on the consumer package selected, and how it is financed. That’s a material percentage of the price of the phone.

Of course, the marginal cost to Microsoft to provide Office 365 to a new customer is essentially nil.

But is the company foregoing Office revenue to help make its money-losing hardware assets move more units? Or put more simply, is Microsoft curtailing a profit source to fuel a money pit? No, but there is some nuance to the situation.

What matters here is that whoever builds the hardware gets to decide what operating system it runs, and what apps come pre-installed. When Microsoft ships a handset, it comes with Windows — soon, Windows 10 — and apps that Microsoft would like you to use. It also functions with a user’s Microsoft account, to which the company has stapled other cloud products and services that it, again, would like more people to use.

So the sale of a phone for Microsoft, along with Google and Apple, is a simple way to grow market share for mobile services and desktop-focused cloud services. That doesn’t conclude our question, however, as it is simple to ask the following: If Microsoft wants to grow its revenue from services and software, why give Office 365 away at all?

The answer, as you have already come to yourself, is that Microsoft is passing on a potential sale of Office 365 for a year, to entice a customer to its mobile platform for likely longer than a year, and also bring them into its orbit of services that the user will, presumably, want to keep using after the free period has lapsed.
So that’s a sold phone, a good shot at a new Office 365 customer, and some income along the way from apps and search. From that perspective, the financial gambit makes sense.

Microsoft previously stated that its phone business would reach “operating break even for the Phone business in fiscal year 16.” Given that the firm has produced no new guidance, we can presume that the above fits under the projection’s financial rubric. It will be interesting to see how Microsoft includes the new subscribers in its quarterly reporting of key performance indicators, or KPIs, that include a number of consumer subscribers to the consumer side of Office 365.

An Effective Carrot?

At question is how enticing free Office is for consumers, in terms of how it might drive hardware sales, and how many users will convert to paying subscribers after their year of free access ends. From a margin perspective, the end-of-year moment is when a phone might actually drive profit: Sell the phone at break-even, give away Office 365 for free for a period, and then cash in on the massive margins that software can provide thereafter, presuming that the original purchaser subscribes.

A $100 software sale that was originally predicated on a hardware sale would grant pleasant margins to each business group involved, and the larger Microsoft corporation would be content as well, having both its halves turning over at a decent clip.

Given that a similar strategy has been deployed across phones, tablets and laptops, it is fair to point to a trend: Microsoft thinks that it can improve hardware sales, and thus adoption of its platforms, by using software as sweetener.

Spending margin, at least in theory, to build share, is hardly revolutionary. But if Microsoft can make it work in this case, a legacy business in transition will have assisted the company in pulling off a multi-billion-dollar bet. I suppose in the changing landscape of technology, that shouldn’t surprise.

PhonesSandisk Has Made A 200GB Microsd Card For Your Phone by ozoneprince(op): 9:50am On Mar 04, 2015
Sandisk has made a 200GB MicroSD card for your phone

With the rise in technological advancements and rapid generation of content, the need for larger storage became a concern as well. But even with the advancements we have made, SanDisk’s latest feat is one which still wows. They have managed somehow to shove 200GB of memory into a MicroSD card! In case you are wondering, that’s a 56% jump on the current highest capacity MicroSD, a 128GB card.

SanDisk said it managed to produce the higher capacity MicroSD card by using a proprietary design and production process that allows for more bits of memory per chip.

Memory chips are typically sized in powers of 2, with steps such as 16GB, 32GB, 64GB and 128GB. Keeping that pattern would result in a 256GB chip, but it appears SanDisk wasn’t able to do that. Instead, it settled for 200GB.

That’s not to take away from the company’s development work. Fitting that much storage on a card the size of a fingernail is a massive achievement. Now you get 200GB MicroSD card

The card supports data transfer at up to 90MB per second, or around 1,200 photos per minute.

So what’s the catch? Well none really, if you have the cash to spare. The 200GB MicroSD card is said to be priced at $400 which is roughly N84,000. (How much did you buy the device you would be putting the card on again?). It would be available for purchase worldwide in the second quarter of the year.

Science/TechnologyThings To Consider Before Buying A Mobile Phone by ozoneprince(op): 3:35am On Feb 20, 2015

Things To Consider Before Buying A Mobile Phone
http://.com/things-consider-buying-mobile-phone/
Below are Top 5 things to consider if you are confuse on what to look out for, when you want to get a new phone
THINGS TO CONSIDER:

1 . WHAT DO YOU WANT TO USE IT FOR?
2. WHAT'S THE BATTERY LIFE?
3. DOES SIZE MATTER?
4. WHAT OPERATING SYSTEM SHOULD YOU USE?
5. CAMERA

Now we going to be explaining few of the above reason
WHAT DO YOU WANT TO USE IT FOR?
Do you want to use your phone just to make calls and receive calls? Or do you need your phone to send text messages only? Alternatively, do you want to use your cellphone to take pictures? Browse the internet?

The thing with smartphone technology these days is that there are so many phones in the market and they are all the 'best' at one thing or the other. Some phones have the best cameras, the best internet browsers etc. In choosing your mobile phone, focus on what you want to use it for. If you understand exactly what skills and capabilities you'd like to see in your new phone, it'll help you avoid paying too much for features you don't want or need.
For a good balance, we like the Samsung Galaxy Note 4, Samsung Galaxy S5, HTC One M8, Huawei Ascend Mate 2, Nokia Lumia 1520. For iPhone loyalists, consider the iPhone 6 Plus. For monetary considerations try the Tecno Phantom Z and the Blackberry Z3.

WHAT'S THE BATTERY LIFE?
With many smartphones having dual-core, quad-core (hardcore any time soon?) processors and big screens, smartphones have never been more powerful–or more power hungry. Yes, specs and apps matter, but what good are they if you’re looking for a charger by midday?

One way to tell how much battery life your smartphone will provide on a charge is to take a look at the battery capacity. Typical phone batteries start in the neighborhood of 1,700mAh and go all the way up to 3,500mAh. Generally, the closer you get to 3,000 mAh (milliamp hours) — or above the better. In The Laptop Mag battery test, the Huawei Ascend Mate 2 topped the list and lasted for 14 hours and 43 minutes. Other phones that put up a good showing in the test include the Sony Xperia Z3 (12 hours , 9 minutes), Nokia Lumia 1520 (11hours, 28 minutes), Samsung Galaxy S5 (10 hours, 50 minutes), HTC One M8 (10 hours, 50 minutes), and Apple iPhone 6 Plus (10 hours).

It was unfortunate ,Earlier today i tried logging in to my face book around 6 a.m ,i couldn't, my fellow bloggers and journalist were busy telling us Facebook was down ,nobody care to tell the reason why?

Despite Lizard Squad, a group notorious for attention seeking antics online, claimed responsibility on Twitter for the outages.

After my research on the reason why facebook was down for 2hours ,I found out the truth:

An automated system for verifying configuration values ended up causing much more damage than it fixed.

Science/TechnologyFacebook Was Down Over An Hour by ozoneprince(op): 8:59am On Jan 27, 2015
Unbelievable. Facebook, one among all social network, was down starting from 6am today, I couldn't check in to facebook.

According to users and various reports, Facebook is currently down in the US of A. As in it's not working. As in it won't even load. In fact, Facebook hasn't been working for over an hour. How in the world is the world surviving?

Down for every one or justme notes that Facebook is down but mobile apps seem to still be working. Interestingly, typing "www." before the usual facebook.com into your browser has helped a few users get through too. We don't know why the site is down but we'll update the post when we do

BlackBerry says BBM coming to Android Wear,In addition to the news that both the BlackBerry Classic and BlackBerry Passport will launch on AT&T, BlackBerry today had some BBM news to share at CES 2015. First up, BlackBerry revealed that BBM support for Android Wear is in the works. When the feature launches, you’ll be able to view a message’s sender and the message itself, review and accept invites from BBM contacts, flip through your messages, select a pre-defined message to quickly respond from your smartwatch, and use your voice with Google Now to compose replies.

BlackBerry says that BBM for Android Wear will launch “soon,” but it didn’t provide any other details. BlackBerry also announced more ways that it plans to earn money through BBM. In addition to selling ads to brands and hawking stickers to consumers, BlackBerry says that it will offer subscriptions that’ll include a “personalized vanity BBM PIN” and remove ads from the user experience. BBM subscriptions will launch sometime in 2015, but it’s not yet clear how much they’ll cost. So that’s some pretty exciting news for BBM lovers. Android Wear support will let users read and respond to messages without having to take their phone out of their pocket, while subscriptions will let them customize their BBM PIN and remove ads from their experience if they so desire. What will be interesting is seeing how much BlackBerry charges for the chance to claim a special PIN.

Science/TechnologyFacebook Still Rules Social Media Ahead Of Twitter, Instagram & Pinterest by ozoneprince(op): 3:43am On Jan 23, 2015
Facebook Still Rules Social Media Ahead of Twitter, Instagram & Pinterest
Facebook Still Rules Social Media Ahead of Twitter, Instagram & Pinterest

Try as they might, no social network has been able to grow as large as Facebook in the U.S. or threaten its market share, at least not yet. It’s especially popular among adults — based on the latest data provided by Pew Internet, 58 percent of the American adult population use Facebook, which is more than double its next closest competitor. That would be LinkedIn, considered a social network for professionals, which has captured 23 percent of the adult audience. After that, it’s Pinterest (22 percent), Instagram (21 percent), and Twitter (19 percent), with the term “adult” being used to describe anyone who is at least 18 years old.

While Facebook is the most popular social hangout, Mark Zuckerberg and company should take note that growth has slowed to a crawl while other sites are seeing increases in usership. Facebook’s membership barely budged since 2013, while every other social media outlet witnessed “significant growth” from 2013 to 2014, according to Pew Internet’s data.
The ones that are on there tend to be “very active,” with 70 percent of Facebook’s users engaging with the site on a daily basis (45 percent do so several times a day). That’s a sizable bump from 63 percent in 2013. For the sake of comparison, Pew Internet says that around half (49 percent) of Instagram users and 17 percent Pinterest users engage with their respective platforms on a daily basis, both of which are virtually unchanged from 2013. And as for Twitter, its usage actually dropped from 46 percent in 2013 to 36 percent in 2014.

The last of 2014’s big Android phone reveals are done, so now it’s time to look forward to 2015. All the top OEMs are cooking up new devices, and we’ll be seeing a few of them sooner than you think. If you can resist those holiday deals, big things await you next year, but who has time to keep up on the rumors? We can clarify things a bit.
Not only are there updated versions of some top phones on the way, but a completely new kind of phone is on the horizon too. Here’s everything you need to know about.
Samsung Galaxy S6
Samsung didn’t see the kind of response it wanted from the Galaxy S5. In fact, some reports claim its sales were 40% below expectations. The Korean company knows it needs to win back the fickle consumer, and that should make for a very interesting Galaxy S6 announcement this spring.

5 upcoming Android phones that are worth waiting for

Samsung-Galaxy-Alpha-–-The-iPhone-6’s-Strong-Competitor-5

There have been a few leaks of supposed specs for this device, but the most plausible relate to a Samsung device with the model number SM-G925F. According to benchmarks for this device, the Galaxy S6 will have Android 5.0, a 5.5-inch 2560×1440 AMOLED screen, a 64-bit octa-core Exynos ARM chip, 3GB of RAM, 20MP camera, and 32GB of storage. The Exynos chip will probably be replaced with a Snapdragon in US markets, though.

The true test of Samsung’s resolve will come in the build quality, which was one of the knocks on the Galaxy S5. It’s not that it was a fragile phone, but the fully plastic frame didn’t feel very premium. The Note 4 and Galaxy Alpha (seen above) were steps in the right direction, but the GS6 can take Samsung the rest of the way there.

We’ll probably see the reveal of this device in early Spring at a Samsung Unpacked event. However, it’s also possible Samsung will try to get the jump on competitors by showing it off at Mobile World Congress in February.

HTC One M9
The HTC One M8 was a great phone, save for a few irksome choices, like the mediocre Ultrapixel camera. The HTC One M9 (code named Hima) is supposed to offer a nice upgrade over the M8. According to the latest batch of rumors, HTC is going to stick with a 5-inch 1080p LCD instead of going to QHD. The upshot of this being that battery life will be vastly improved. The device will again have a sealed-in battery rated at 2,840mAh.

It should also be running an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 (64-bit), 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, and maybe most importantly, a 20.7MP camera. The Ultrapixel used for the last two years has been questionable at best, and the Duo Cam was little more than a gimmick. HTC has great image processing software, though. Seeing it paired with a solid sensor is going to be exciting.
HTC has been impressing with its build quality as of late, so the M9 is sure to blow us away once again in this department, and Sense 7 with Android 5.0 should be a nice update with HTC’s slick aesthetic.

This Third-Party iOS 8 Keyboard Lets You Draw Your Messages,
http://.com/this-third-party-ios-8-keyboard-lets-you-draw-your-messages/

When was the last time you actually drew your message to send to a friend from your iPhone or iPad? iOS 8 has literally opened up the Autobahn for third-party keyboards and the developers are busy catching up to all those years lost to Android. DrawType is one such keyboard that offers something truly unique; it lets you draw your messages.

DrawType is truly a simple take on what would seem like a tedious task to some, but sending your drawn text is as simple as accessing the extension – like you would call up any other keyboard in iOS 8 – and scribbling a message on a blank canvas. Once you are done designing, hit the ‘Paste’ button to move the message to the text field input area, and hit ‘Send’ to fire away.

The app supports 3 different brush sizes to paint with multiple colors, but what makes your drawing much better looking is the added feature of tapered lines – or technically correct, anti-aliasing. Depending on how creative you get, you are likely to end up needing multiple undo states, which is exactly what DrawType is offering for that conscious artist in you, but the plentiful canvas size should help cut down on corrections by allowing you to draw freely enough.

You will have to enable the keyboard once you have installed it, like any other third-party keyboard on iOS 8. If this is your first time installing a keyboard on iOS 8, head over to the Settings app and navigate to General > Keyboard > Keyboards > Add New Keyboard and select DrawType. Consequently, select DrawType from the list of active keyboards and enable Allow Full Access.

We always had inventive ways of designing suggestive emoticons and symbols using just the keyboard character and some emoticons, and while that was original in its own sense, DrawType will really let you throw in exactly what your mind is thinking.

DrawType can be downloaded from the iTunes App Store for a mere $0.99.http://.com/this-third-party-ios-8-keyboard-lets-you-draw-your-messages/

PhonesHow To Get The Best Feature Of Android 5.0 Lollipop On Any Device by ozoneprince(op): 12:22am On Nov 25, 2014
Today you will learn How To Get The Best Feature Of Android 5.0 Lollipop On Any Device,Android 5.0 Lollipop is still far from a major release on devices other than the Nexus 6 and 9 but the one feature – in addition to loads of others – getting a lot of attention lately is Smart Lock, with the option of adding trusted places. This location based trigger basically tells your device to ease off on the security measures in place for the lock screen on Lollipop. A sweet little addition indeed, and it is limited to Android 5.0 for now. However, this is Android we’re talking about, and you can get the very same feature on any other device which is not even on Lollipop.

Enter – Delayed Lock, one of the simplest Android apps out there to offer such a functionality, as it allows you to remove the lock screen security measures using your device’s location, Wi-FI, Bluetooth and a Tasker plugin

Delayed Lock works on a similar principle to Lollipop’s Smart Lock, where users can certify certain Wi-Fi connections as trusted, thus disabling the lock screen whenever the device is connected to that particular hotspot.

7 Reasons Why Tecno Android Is Better Than Blackberry
https://forum.naijanext.com/postimages/BB%20VS.%20Q1012.jpg
Lets go straight to the point of disussion, no beating around the bush

1. Speed
All Tecno Android devices has a higher ram which enhances speed E.g
Tecno Q1 Has a Ram Memory of 512 MB which is far better than all Blackberry
Devices running Below O.S 5.

2. Battery Life
This is Undoubtedly unarguable, All Tecno users can testify how there Battery
lasts longer even when on 3g but the story is directly opposite for Blackberry
USers cause you see them carrrying their charger Here and there just in the name
of Poor Battery strength. Manuy of them don't even use there 3g cause it exhausts
their batterf rapidly.

3. Cost of maintenance
The cost of using a Tecno Android Phone is more Cheaper Compared to Blackberry
e.g NO BIS No Browsing(BB Theme Song) but the story for Tecno Android Users
is a very happy story in which with even 10MB you can access the Internet at
your fingertip.

4. Better Mail
With the Android GUI you have a better access to Email services wordwide just with a
little Internet connectivity but the story for Blackberry Users is a Sad one in which
the Blackberry email service Has a very poor Interface, everything about Blackberry's
Email Service is just Poor *No Beef *No Offence

5. Internet Sharing Service
This is where I need to give big kudos to the Engineers and the Tecno Team at Large,
with your Tecno Android Phone You can share your Data Connection with the Hotspot functionality
on your phone but the story is directly sad for my Blackberry Users, statistics Have it that
50% of Blackberry phones lacks a Hotspot Functionality which is Bad for the Brand Blackberry.

6. Cost of Ownership
No much talk the cost of owning a New Tecno Android Phone is much Cheaper compared to
the cost of owning a London Used Blackberry Device. I don't call this margin in price
quality but extortion in the Highest order. God help Blackberry they don't run out of
Market in 2016.

7. Utility
Owning a Blackberry is just like inviting trouble to come stay with you, but owning a
Tecno Android Phone is Calling Peace and Staying with Peace.
Utility is Known as the Back-end enjoyment you get from any commodity.
Undoubtedly, The Utility derived from all Tecno Android Devices is far more better
compared to that of Blackberry's.

I think with the few point stated by me above you can see that Tecno Android
is better than Blackberry, If you don't have a Tecno Android Device , Abeg Sell
your Blackberry fast fast and buy Tecno.
I think Tecno Android Device is better than a Blackberry Device(soliloquizing!)
What do you think Guyz?

PhonesTop 5 Reason Why Tecno Is Still The Worst Android Phone Ever by ozoneprince(op): 12:32am On Nov 20, 2014
Recently i have been advertising Tecno phone to many clients that know I'm a phone expert, tackle me with many troubles they have been battling with there phones. I have come to realize, that Tecno have so many queries to answer, especially to my customers because i advice many customers to go for there for their products.

Below i point out Top five Reasons why Tecno Is Still The Worst Android Phone Ever!

LACK OF SOFTWARE UPDATE:

This is one of the major problems which many Tecno customer’s have suffered for. We have never heard of OS updates on any Tecno phone. Tecno rather makes new phones everyday, dumping their older customers in the dark while on the venture of getting new ones. They don’t even seem to even know how phone series work. They made N3, went back and made an advance version of the phone and named it P3.

All same similarity, tecno phones lacks the ability to upgrade its operating system. I'm really suprised that nothing has been done about this. Is it that you guys don’t have capable software engineers to fix this or what? Any reasonable company that values its customers would have found a solution to this but i'm really suprised that nothing has been done so far. BBM now works on android but my friend's tecno d3 can’t use BBM because he can’t upgrade his phone's operating system. Unlike Samsung LG which have ota update, direct with wifi or Samsung kies without rooting the phone. As samsung image for ref:

HIGH PRICE ON SPARE PARTS:

Tecno have never used top quality screens for any of their devices. Even the new ‘top notch’ Tecno R7 sports a screen that has nothing to write home about. Tecno is oblivious of Gorilla Glass etc,all is same. A few days ago, one of my bosses called me on which phone to buy on Tecno. I recommended H7. After a week he bought the phone, it accidentally fell off his hand as he is coming out his car and broke. We went to the office and could you imagine that we were asked to pay for the screen for almost half of the amount we bought the phone. My boss was angry ,I was humiliated and disappointed ,because I pushed him to buy the phone,he didn’t change.

After that day another customer visited me because his n9 screen and touch pad broken. He was told to pay 17,000naira, and yet it not up to a year he bought the phone. That is to say : the phone is still under warranty. Please define warranty for me people, because I know of a friend that his s5 samsung screen went blind and it was changed for him. At Samsung office.with his warranty, one of my customer bought infinix last week,it fell couldn't come up,she went to the branch, they change the screen for her free of charge she was so happy, she told me the testimony, unlike her Tecno she couldn't fix because of price...

INPUT AND TYPING :

Despite the fact that you guys improve on getting good keyboard ,still you produce a look alike H3 that is too small, and the keyboard is not responsive at all. Still the same just as M3,come on! Even the so called R7 keyboard is still not responsive, but check iphone 3 ,even iphone 2 keyboard is very responsive, even without dictionary. I can't have any typing error, ask iphone users.

I'm so annoyed with Tecno right now.

PhonesIos 8.1.1: Everything You Need To Know Right Now by ozoneprince(op): 11:42am On Nov 17, 2014
Apple’s iOS 8.1.1 release for iPhone and iPad is still in the company’s beta program. With no iOS 8.1.1 release date in sight, we want to take a look at everything we know about Apple’s next iOS 8 update so that when the company does decide to take the update out of beta, you iPhone and iPad users will be ready for its release.http://.com/ios-8-1-1-everything-need-know-right-now/

Back in September, Apple released its iOS 8.1 update into the beta program for developers. For several weeks, Apple and its developers tested the update in order to ensure a smooth public release. In mid-October, after a short stint in beta, Apple released the iOS 8.1 update to the public and it stands as the company’s current version of iOS.

While the iOS 8.1 update did fix some of the bigger iOS 8 problems affecting iPhone and iPad users, the iOS 8.1 update failed to tackle all of the annoying problems that emerged with September’s iOS 8.0 update. This has left many iPhone and iPad users around the world looking for some kind of relief in the form of a permanent fix.

iOS 8.1.1 might be the remedy iPhone and iPad users are looking for. The update is currently toiling in Apple’s beta program as the company, and its developers, poke around for bugs and issues that might cause harm to iPhone and iPad. The update is widely expected to be next in line though without a concrete announcement from Apple, we’re left to wonder about its release date.

We’ve been taking a deep dive into the iOS 8.1.1 release in an effort to help prepare iPhone and iPad users for its arrival. Today, we want to offer an in depth look at our coverage so that when the iOS 8.1.1 release date does arrive, iPhone and iPad users will be well equipped to deal with iOS 8.1.1’s features and its potential problems.

iOS 8.1.1 Beta Hasn’t Moved

As it stands, the iOS 8.1.1 update currently sits in Apple’s beta program as iOS 8.1.1 Beta 1. Apple hasn’t released a second beta nor has it revealed any new details about the update that could, and should, fix several iOS 8 problems. The update is still being signed by Apple which means that an iOS 8.1.1 release date may not be imminent.

The iOS 8.1.1 beta is significant because it’s one of the first betas that we’ve seen for an incremental update of iOS 8.1.1’s size. It’s also significant because it means that those of you with a developer account can install the update right now and see if it solves some of your iOS 8 problems. It’s a relatively minor update, bug fixes and performance issues are on board, but it’s worth a download for those of you experiencing issues.

We’re still not sure if we’re going to see a iOS 8.1.1 beta 2 arrive or not though given that the iOS 8.1.1 beta’s been out for a couple of weeks now, we could see some movement starting this week.

iOS 8.1.1 Release Date MIA

There was a rumor going around last week that the iOS 8.1.1 release was imminent. Apple has not released the iOS 8.1.1 update to the public and it’s not clear when it will do so. As we’ve pointed out many times, Apple almost never announces incremental iOS release dates ahead of the actual roll out which means that we probably won’t hear anything credible ahead of the public release.

We should note that iOS 8.1.1 activity has increased in our site analytics in recent days, a sign that it’s probably in testing in and around the San Francisco Bay Area. Typically, when we see spikes like this something is either close or getting closer. This release is dependent on the testing process and so far, we’ve heard and seen good things.

iOS 8 Problems

iOS 8 problems and iOS 8.1 problems persist for iPhone and iPad users. On our end, it’s the iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus and iPhone 5 that are encountering the most trouble. iOS 8.1.1 is expected to deliver bug fixes and performance enhancements (the change log says that these enhancements will be for the iPad 2 and iPhone 4s) but we’ve outlined some fixes for those of you that simply can’t wait for iOS 8.1.1 to arrive.

We’ve taken a look at some of the more common iOS 8.1 problems and offered some possible solutions for those iOS 8.1 and iOS 8 problems. These fixes have worked for us, and many others in the past, and if you’re dealing with issues and can’t stand to wait any longer for iOS 8.1.1, we suggest taking a look there for a remedy
[img][/img]
There’s a good chance that the iOS 8.1.1 update will alleviate several iOS 8 issues but remember, there’s also a good chance that it won’t. We might also see some iOS 8.1.1 problems arrive in the days and weeks after the roll out as well. You can never be too sure with these incremental upgrades. Just look at Apple’s failed iOS 8.0.1 update, the probable cause of the iOS 8.1.1 beta.

iOS 8.1.1 Release Date Tips

iOS 8.1.1 isn’t going to be a major update though that doesn’t mean that iOS 8 users shouldn’t prepare for its arrival. In fact, with the release date missing, you have ample time to get your iPhone and iPad setup for its release.

We’ve outlined eight things you should probably do before the iOS 8.1.1 release. You don’t need to absorb all of these tips but we think that the more prepared you are for the iOS 8.1.1 release the better. Keep them in mind as we progress deeper into the fall, closer to the iOS 8.1.1 release. They’re going to help make the transition from your current operating system to iOS 8.1.1 extremely smooth.

Why You Should/Shouldn’t Install iOS 8.1.1 on Release Day

As a reminder, we’ve outlined some reasons why you should, and why you shouldn’t, install the iOS 8.1.1 update on day one. There is going to be temptation to install the second the iOS 8.1.1 is released. We understand that temptation, especially if you’re dealing with iOS 8.1 problems and performance issues. Many of you will want to install the update on day one. However, there is definitely reason to wait

PhonesBlackberry Classic Q20 Release Date And Specifications by ozoneprince(op): 12:46am On Nov 14, 2014
Amazing !!! Blackberry Classic Q20 Release Date and Specifications http://.com/blackberry-classic-q20-release-date-specifications/

Canadian firm Blackberry entered the market in 1999 with a bang, providing features like wireless e-mails which were of high relevance to business-class. But subsequently iPhone entered the market and blackberry suffered a huge blow. iPhone included much more impressive features and showed that a smartphone can do much more than just make / receive calls and receive / compose mails. Then with the launch of Android smartphones, blackberry faced tremendous competition, losing most of its share in the market.

With not so successful story of blackberry passport that can be bought at half its launch price today; it is a challenge for blackberry to prove that its upcoming products could be sustainable in generating revenue streams. Despite it, Blackberry has managed to release an unconventional device each year and there is still potential in their business. One such smartphone that blackberry is releasing in 2014 is blackberry classic a.k.a blackberry Q20. Expected release date is in November or later this year.

6-7 years back blackberry had a good brand value. People used to keep blackberry phone as a status symbol but after that Samsung and iPhone have made great progress. Although blackberry has tried to regain its value but due to high competition and high rates of blackberry phones it hasn't been possible. Hope that this new flagship of blackberry will help to increase their market shares.

Final CONCLUSION:

I think the biggest reason of failure of black
loyal users and deliver well in terms of quality. It has also addressed concerns of its users of passport that the phablet was difficult to operate with one hand. The phone is thinner. It is time to test the waters and see how Blackberry fares.
Blackberry Q20 is rumored to be budget friendly. So looking at the brand value and impressive specifications, Blackberry Q20 seems like it will be phone to look after in future.
