Following the election that was conducted yesterday 19th March, 2016 by Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), recorded a huge success. From the results, the APC senatorial candidate Hon Andrew .I. Uchendu lost in his ward (ward 4), the former Commissioner of Agriculture, Hon. Emma Chinda lost his ward (ward 2), also the APC party secretary Hon.Emeka Beke bowed to Hon. Emeka Woke the current Chief of State to Rivers State Government who swept the entire votes of the ward to the candidates of Peoples Democratic Party in ward 3. From the sequence of event, the APC candidate for Rivers State House of Assembly, Hon Chidi Lloyd won in his ward (ward 10), while the former Chairman of Emohua Local Government Council, Hon Allen Nma also won in his ward (ward 12). However the breakdown of the results from the Emohua Collation Centre is as follows:

Following the breakdown of the results, the APC Senatorial Candidate Hon CHIEF Andrew.I. Uchendu lost in his ward,(ward 4), APC State Secretary Hon Emeka Beke also lost in his ward, (ward 3) bowing to the current Chief of Staff to Rivers State Government Hon Emeka Woke who swept the entire votes in favour of PDP also former Commissioner of Agriculture Hon Emma Chinda won in his ward (ward 2) while the APC candidate for House of Assembly, Hon Chidi Lyoid won in his ward, (ward 10) and former Chairman of Emohua Local Government, Hon Allen Nma won in his ward, (ward 12). However, the breakdown of the results are as follows.

Voting is yet to commence in ward 4 in Emohua local Government Area. INEC officials just arrived, setting up there tables to commence accreditation.
