The baby was just 12 days old.
Abhishek told CNN:-
The child’s body was recovered from the terrace of an adjacent house.

Monkey attacks are common in India, especially in the country’s capital New Delhi.
In Central Delhi, government offices are surrounded by dozens of monkeys swinging from the trees or lounging in the sun on the sidewalk.

PoliticsUzodinma, Desperate For Governance – Okorocha by ozywin(op): 8:32am On Nov 14, 2018
OWERRI – Imo State Governor Rochas Okorocha on Tuesday contended that the 2019 gubernatorial ambition of Senator Hope Uzodinma was a veiled plot to evade criminal charges as he would enjoy immunity as a governor and escape from the criminal trails he is facing at the moment.

SOURCE: http://flowbaze.com/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=176&p=219&sid=3494a691bc6e0a2ab1d5dd099d9b4fa8#p219

Okorocha blamed Adams Oshiomhole, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), for his insistence on Uzodinma as the governorship candidate of the party in the state, stressing that the travails of the senator had happened years before now and had nothing to do with him as the sitting governor of the state.

He said, “Chief Uzodinma is desperate to govern Imo State through the assistance of men like Adams Oshiomhole to evade the criminal trails he is already facing.
His idea is that once he becomes governor, he would be leveraging on the immunity provision, to evade these trials.”

A statement by Sam Onwuemeodo, his Chief Press Secretary, argued that under normal circumstances “Chief Uzodinma would have announced his withdrawal from the governorship race over charges of issuance of dud cheque and alleged breach of contract to the tune of 12. 5 million dollars.
SportsDeschamps Sends Message To Sarri Over Kante's New Position At Chelsea by ozywin(op): 6:40am On Nov 14, 2018
France boss Didier Deschamps believes N’Golo Kante is capable of playing further forward at Chelsea and insists the midfielder is still ‘having fun’ under Maurizio Sarri.

Kante, 27, was regarded as the finest defensive midfielder in England after winning back-to-back Premier League titles with Leicester and Chelsea, but Sarri prefers the Frenchman in a more advanced position.
While the decision was initially deemed controversial, Jorginho’s magnificent start at the base of midfield – helping accelerate Chelsea’s transition to ‘Sarri-ball’ – has put an end to the debate.

Kante excelled as France’s deepest midfielder at the World Cup in the summer, but Deschamps has no problems with Sarri changing his position at Stamford Bridge.
Asked about Kante’s new role at Chelsea since Antonio Conte’s departure, Deschamps replied: ‘He is able [to play higher up the pitch]. He can play deeper where he is very useful and very powerful.
‘At Chelsea he’s in more of a creative role. With what his coach asks him, and his system, he is brought to play very high.

Didier Deschamps is confident N’Golo Kante can excel in his new role (Picture: Getty)
‘He has more freedom. He is very comfortable with the ball, so it doesn’t cause him any problems. He’s always having fun.

‘Kante also takes it by playing deeper, but he is now in the offensive part, but he still has the quality of cutting out passes and recovering balls.
‘He is a little more involved in attacks, in the last third or the penultimate pass. This is less frequent when he’s playing in front of the defence.’

Asked about his new position under Sarri earlier this season, Kante said: ‘I am enjoying the role. ‘It is a new challenge for me.
‘I try to understand the move and the right players’ combinations.

‘I think we are doing well. We need to keep working and keep improving and I think we can enjoy a good season together.

PoliticsDrama As Man Climbs Telecom Mast To Protest ‘land Encroachment’ By Atiku’s AUN by ozywin(op): 10:34pm On Nov 12, 2018
A man identified as Musa Inuwa Wakatu on Monday climbed a telecommunications mast in Abuja to protest alleged land encroachment by the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, six years after he embarked on the same mission.

According to SaharaReporters, the man climbed the mast at 9:40am at Nicon Junction in Maitama, causing an unusual scene that attracted a large crowd who thronged the area to catch a glimpse of the man.
A commercial driver, Yakubu Idris, said he saw the man while ascending the mast but thought that he was a site engineer who had come to do some maintenance work.

Musa, who climbed the mast halfway, distributed leaflets from the height, alleging that the former Vice President, through his American University of Nigeria (AUN), encroached and fenced his landed property of (300 feet by 100 feet) with structures inside at Bajabure in Girei Local Government Area of Adamawa State.
He said he had protested on the same matter when he climbed a mast at Federal High Court in Abuja on 14th March 2012.

In the leaflet, he said: “I wrote a complaint letter to the former I.G. Mr.Hafiz Ringim and delivered to force headquarters on 5th December 2011, with visitor tag No.054 without any positive result.”
He explained that he was lured to collect money as compensation from AUN, which he rejected, but was later locked up in the cell by one Mr. Ibrahim Iro AC CID of Nigeria Police Yola Command.

He stressed that he had sold his inherited house to prosecute the case in the court of law without any result. He added that he was ready to pursue the case to the world court in order to get justice.
“Yesterday, someone’s right was illegally taken, today mine is about to be taken. The next person right to be taken illegally tomorrow might be yours,” Wakaltu stated.

The leaflet also contained his bank account name and number seeking financial assistance from Nigerians to enable him get lawyer for the case.
Wakatu therefore appealed to well-meaning Nigerians, civil society organisations and International communities to come to his rescue.
A detachment of armed policemen has arrived the area talking to him via his mobile phone but he has insisted that he won’t descend from the mast.

PoliticsCourt Revokes Kalu’s Bail, Orders Him To Submit Self To EFCC by ozywin(op): 3:14pm On Nov 12, 2018
Justice Mohammed Idris of a Federal High Court in Lagos on Monday revoked the bail of a former Governor of Abia, Orji Kalu, following his failure to appear in court for trial as scheduled.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) is prosecuting Kalu together with his former Commissioner for Finance, Ude Udeogo and a Company, Slok Nigeria Ltd on charges of N7.2 billion fraud.

EFCC had on Oct. 31, 2016, preferred a 34-count charges, bordering on N3.2 billion fraud against the accused.

The charges were, however, subsequently amended to 39 counts.
They had each pleaded not guilty to the charges and were granted bails.
At the last adjourned date on Nov. 5, Kalu was also absent for his trial and defence counsel had informed the court that he was away for medical treatment in Germany.
Justice Idris, who is sitting on a fiat to conclude the trial, had then adjourned the case until Monday for continuation of trial and ordered that Kalu returns to the country within seven days from Nov. 5 to stand trial.

The court had said: “In the light of the entirety of this case, and in the interest of justice, I am prepared to grant the first defendant a final adjournment in respect of this matter.
On Monday, Idris, revoked Kalu’s bail, following his failure to appear in court for trial as scheduled.
The judge ordered that upon a return of Kalu from his alleged medical trip, he must submit himself to the EFCC, failing which an order will be made for his arrest.

“I am constrained to revoke the bail granted to the first defendant; the first defendant is, however, permitted to continue with his medical treatment abroad, unharrased by law enforcement agencies.
“Upon his return to the country, he must at the point of entry, surrender his international passport and other relevant travelling document to the EFCC; he shall submit himself to the EFCC within 24 hours of his return, failling which he shall be rearrested and detained by the EFCC.

“Let me state that there is no doubt that the first defendant is entitled to and has a right to life, he has a right to seek medical treatment within and outside the shores of Nigeria; this right is further guaranteed by the African Charter on Human and People’s Right.

“In enjoying this right, the first defendant has a duty to follow due process of law; in this case, the first defendant acted outside the purview of the law, and he is expected to be dealt with according to the law.
“This court is a court of equity, but he who seeks equity must do equity; I find no reason why I should depart from the law, this court is an equal dispenser of justice, ” the court held.
The court adjourned the case until Dec 3 .
In the charge, the accused were alleged to have committed the offences between August 2001 and October 2005.

Kalu was alleged to have utilised his company to retain in the account of a First Inland bank, now FCMB, the sum of N200 million.
The sum is alleged to have formed part of funds illegally derived from the coffers of the Abia State Government.
In one of the counts, his company (Slok Nig Ltd) and one Emeka Abone who is said to be at large, were also alleged to have retained in the company’s account the sum of N200 million, on behalf of the first accused.

In counts one to 10, the accused were alleged to have retained about N2.5 billion in different accounts, which funds were said to belong to the Abia State Government.
Cumulatively, in all the counts, the accused were alleged to have diverted over N7.2 billion from the Abia State government’s treasury during Kalu’s tenure as governor.

The offences were said to have contravened the provisions of Sections 15(6), 16, and 21 of the Money Laundering (Prohibition) Act, 2005.
It also contravened the provisions of the Money Laundering Act of 1995 as amended by the amendment Act No. 9 of 2002 and Section 477 of the Criminal Code Act, Laws of the

SportsPREMIER LEAGUE!! Chelsea 0 – 0 Everton (RESULT) by ozywin(op): 7:51pm On Nov 11, 2018
Chelsea missed the chance to return to the top of the Premier League as they were held to a goalless draw by Everton.

In a scrappy encounter at Stamford Bridge, Maurizio Sarri’s side were made to wait until five minutes before the break for their first shot on target, as Marcos Alonso’s volley was denied by a smart Jordan Pickford save.

A frantic passage of play after the interval saw Pickford on hand again to deny Alvaro Morata, before Gylfi Sigurdsson stung the palms of Chelsea’s goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga.
With time running out, Marcos Alonso hit the post for the Blues, but Marco Silva’s Toffees held on for a point.

PoliticsPolice Arraign DSP Who Killed Nenadi Usman’s Daughter by ozywin(op): 9:20am On Nov 10, 2018
ABUJA – Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Inagozie Igochukwu Godwin, who allegedly shot and killed Miss Anita Akapson, a niece to Senator Nenadi Usman, a former Minister of Finance, was on Friday arraigned at the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory, Zuba. Godwin is Ikwerre by tribe, and lives in Dutse, Abuja.
In a criminal charge filed by the Commissioner of Police against DSP Inagozie Godwin, aged 36, it was stated that Anita Akapson, 31, was shot to death on October 13, 2018 at about 9:45pm, at Katampe area of Abuja.

The one-count charge, which the prosecutor said was a criminal offence, to wit culpable homicide ran contrary to section 22(3) of the penal code and punishable under section 22(4) of the same code.
After the charge was read to the accused cop, he pleaded not guilty.
Consequently, Donatus Abah, the prosecutor requested for a date for commencement of trial of the accused police officer.

However, counsel to the defendant, Paul Samson informed the court of his client’s bail application, dated October 30, and filed same day.
After taking submissions by both counsel on the bail application, the presiding judge, Justice A. O Ebong admitted the accused on bail in the sum of N50million with two sureties.
Justice Ebong said he was minded to grant the defendant bail because the police prosecutor failed to advance cogent reasons under the law why bail should not be granted to the DSP.

The court noted that the offence was a culpable homicide, not punishable by death, but carries a maximum sentence of life imprisonment.
Whereas the defence counsel relied on Section 162 of ACJA to persuade the court to grant the accused bail, however, Justice Ebong said, that section in particular applies in offences that carry not more than 3 years sentence.
According to the court, all the factors that would have swayed the pendulum in favour of the prosecutor were not mentioned as he opposed the bail application.

Justice Ebong stated that he did not grant the accused bail based on the submissions made by the defence counsel with respect to the ill health of the cop, but because the prosecutor did not controvert the depositions contained in the affidavit of the defence counsel.
More so, the court agreed with the defence counsel that an accused is pressumed innocent until proven otherwise.

Meanwhile, as part of the bail conditions, the court directed that two of the sureties must be serving public servants who should not be below the position of Directors.
The court stated that the sureties must be resident in their personal houses and must equally swear an affidavit of means.

Justice Ebong further ordered that the accused must not travel without leave of court, and must live within the jurisdiction of the court in order to attend trial.
In addition, the court ordered the defendant to deposit his international passport and other relevant travel documents to the registrar of the court.
More so, Justice Ebong stated that the identities and particulars of the sureties shall be verified by court authority.

Lastly, the court ordered that the accused be remanded in prison custody pending the perfection of the bail conditions.
Earlier, Samson brought the motion on notice (bail application) pursuant to sections 35, 36(5) of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, as amended, as well as sections 161, 162 and 165 of the Administration of Criminal Justice Act, 2015.

Moving the bail application, the defendant’s counsel placed reliance on paragraphs 4, 5, and 6 of the affidavit in support of the bail application, to the effect that the trigger-happy cop has an unstable health.
Also, Samson told the court that he had filed a 5-paragraph affidavit of urgency, with exhibits A, B, C and D, attached.

The defence counsel disclosed that exhibit “A” was a medical report from National Hospital, exhibit “B”, a travel visa; exhibit “C”, a certificate of clearance for the accused police to travel for medical treatment; and exhibit “D”, a medical report that the defendant has a sickness.
Arguing his bail application, the accused person’s lawyer insisted that by section 22(4), “The offence is not a capital offence”.

He submitted that the applicant is pressumed innocent unless the contrary is proven just as he posited that in accordance with section 161(2) of ACJA, “granting of bail is at the discretion of the court”.
In trying to persuade the court to grant bail to the embattled DSP, Samson stressed that the accused has a “peculiar illness and that can only be treated by a specialist.

Besides, the defence counsel noted that the averrement that DSP Inadozie Godwin was critically ill was not controverted by the prosecution counsel, “which in law, means that the averrement are true”.
He drew the attention of the court that it is only the living that stands trial, and therefore, pleaded that the DSP be allowed to travel for medical treatment.
In his reaction, human rights activist and constitutional lawyer, Kayode Ajulo, kicked against the bail granted the defendant.

He accused the prosecutor for
“displaying inherent conspiracy and a clear attempt to shield one of their own”.
According to Ajulo, who also represented in court as a family lawyer to Senator Nenadi Unman’s, “the issues canvassed and argued in the counter- affidavit of the prosecution were so watery, porous and riddled with incompetence that one can only wonder if the lawyer went through the four walls of Nigeria Law School”.

“Today, the case of the gruesome murder of Miss Anita Akapson, which came up before the FCT High Court makes the heart of a reasonable man bleed, leaving so much to be desired of a legal practitioner.
“Upon arraignment, the defendant pleaded not guilty to the charge and his counsel presented his motion for bail.
“The Prosecution also pretentiously presented his 8-paragraph counter-affidavit with merely 3 substantial paragraphs.

“As of fact, the presiding judge opined that bail was only granted to the defendant because the prosecution’s counsel failed to be diligent in his assignment.
“Considering the very nature of this case being one of the very many cases of Police violation of citizen’s fundamental rights leading to loss of life of a bright young lady, it was expected that the office of the Attorney General as the Chief Law Officer of the Federation would have sprung into action, issue an advice and taken over the matter rather than permit the Police to assist one of their own.
“The experience of today in court is indeed embarrassing, scandalous and leaves much to be desired.

“The act of the Police prosecutor in trying to hide under the cloak of the law, display lack of diligence and incompetence is tantamount to gross misconduct and conduct unbecoming of a legal practitioner which we shall take up before the Legal Practitioners Disciplinary Committee.
“I dare say that the system of prosecution in Nigeria needs to be overhauled and reconsidered, particularly the investigative procedures of the Nigerian Police” Ajulo stated.

PoliticsFayose Reacts As Bishop Describes His Administration Unfruitful by ozywin(op): 5:58pm On Oct 29, 2018
Omotunde said the state urgently needs repairs resuscitation and rejuvenation to put it back on the right track - Fayose said the cleric is trying to justify what he called blatant rigging of the recent governorship election by the APC in the state Ayodele Fayose through his chief press secretary, Idowu Adelusi, replied the Anglican Bishop of Ekiti Diocese, Reverend Christopher Omotunde that described the tenure of former governor of Ekiti state as “four wasted years.” Omotunde made this known on Sunday, October 28, at a thanksgiving service in honour of deputy governor Bisi Egbeyemi in the Cathedral Church of Emmanuel, Okesa, Ado-Ekiti, the state capital. He said: “The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) had a golden chance to make a difference in the lives of Ekiti residents but abused the opportunity to the extent that the people became slaves under them.”

Fayose said only a cleric trying to justify the blatant rigging of the last Ekiti governorship election by the All Progressives Congress(APC) would describe the physical transformation of Ekiti by the Fayose administration as a waste. According to him, “Even the blind feel the good works of Fayose and perhaps Bishop Omotunde and the likes need to change their eyeglasses to see well.

“Our fathers have a saying that it is disheartening when one hears a statement of gullibility from a place where one expects to hear the words of wisdom. “The records of the Fayose administration are there for all to see. It organised an Education Summit that led to great improvement in education in the state. Ekiti came first back-to-back in NECO exams and we also did well in WAEC. “The Fayose administration built the first flyover in the state and it passes beside Omotunde’s church. One wonders if the bishop closes his eyes whenever he drives or passes through that place. Jealous girlfriend 'hacked off partner's penis while he slept' after accusing him of cheating
A jealous lover has been arrested for attacking her boyfriend who she suspected was having an affair with several women.

The lady Rehema Kabayana, 24, from Uganda allegedly used a four-inch knife to cut off the penis of her boyfriend Anthony Sekawa, 28 over an alleged affair.

According to police, she waited until her boyfriend had fallen asleep before attacking him. Neighbours who heard his cries, quickly called the police before Sekawa was then rushed to the hospital.

The PML Daily in Uganda reported that he told police that the couple had got into a fight, during which she had apparently tried to cut his throat. After he fell asleep, Kabayana attacked him and hacked off his manhood with a knife.

Upon arrest, Kabayana told police that she had recently discovered her boyfriend was seeing different girls at a brothel located in Wanton Mukono and hatched the revenge plot.

“I then discovered that he was secretly going out and flirting with other girls at different bars. This made me very angry. I was full of anger inside and couldn’t relax,” she told them.

Sekawa was rushed to Namirembe Hospital, the paper said, for treatment while Kabayana was arrested and held in custody over the attack.

Kampala Metropolitan Police spokesman Luke Owoyesigyire confirmed that Mukono Police had received an emergency call about a man’s penis being cut off with a knife.

Owoyesigyire told the paper officers arrived along with rescue staff and found the man severely injured and he was rushed to hospital.

The Police said the couple have long battled over his womanising, with Kabayana ordering him to cease contact with any other women, including not talking to them, answering their calls or even smiling at them.

She told police that he failed to do so, leaving her with no option than carrying out the sickening act after he took her for granted.

The suspect is currently detained at Mukono Police Station on charges of attempted murder as the investigation continues.

PhonesAll Windows 10 Problems And Solutions by ozywin(op): 10:24am On Oct 22, 2018
It's been a month and some days that Microsoft officially launched the latest version of Windows which is Windows 10 and I've come to find out that a lot of people are delaying to upgrade not because they don't like the OS but because they're waiting for Microsoft to rectify some known issues.
Today making it a month since I've been using this beast of an OS, I've come with solutions to your fears so you can enjoy this beast with me (especially if you're still on that awful windows
1. AUTOMATIC WINDOWS UPDATE (FIXED ON CREATORS EDITION)
This, obviously tops the list of "Reasons why you should not upgrade to Windows 10 yet" found on many websites. Here is the way around to turn it off. (Only problem is this does not work on the Home edition but every other edition works fine). I'll edit to add trick for Home edition users later
To turn off automatic updates; press Windows Key + R, type "gpedit.msc" and press enter, Navigate to
Computer Configuration\Administrative Templates\Windows Components\Windows Update.
Locate the "Configure Automatic Updates" setting in the right pane and double click it. Set it to "Enabled" and select your preferred setting. Save the change.
P.S: Windows update seems to notice the change after you click "Check for Updates"
2. SEARCH RESULTS ONLY FROM C DRIVE (FIXED)
In this new version of Windows, Microsoft introduced Cortana personal assistant which also serves as a local/Web search for your PC. The problem is that cortana searches for contents only on the drive you installed Windows which is usually C: drive. People with a single partition will not notice this problem but it's a sure nightmare for guys with double or multiple partitions like myself knowing that I can't see a file am looking for in drive D:
How to solve this; Goto Control panel (right click on windows Icon) -- Indexing Options -- modify -- [select drive(s) you want cortana to search] -- OK
If the drive has already been index before then select it from the lower pane, click OK-- Advanced -- Rebuild
Then wait for it to index the files in the drive. When it's finished, Cortana can now see them
3. DEFAULT SEARCH ENGINE IN EDGE BROWSER
With the new Windows, Microsoft debuted their all new browser named Edge. I used to be a fan of Firefox but after this upgrade I couldn't get enough of Microsoft Edge. There are a lot of new features you'll really enjoy in this browser but the only con is the default search engine which is Bing (since a lot of us are happier with Google). Here's how to change it to Google.
First visit Google.com from the address bar then click the three dots at the extreme top right (just under the close icon) then click settings then "view advanced settings". Scroll down to "search in the address bar with" and click the box. If you had visit Google website, it'll appear there, then select it
4. GOING BACK TO YOUR PREVIOUS WINDOWS
This option is only available to those who upgraded from windows 7 or Windows 8.1. If you performed a clean install then skip this number.
For one reason or the other you might want to go back to your former windows. Microsoft prepared a downgrading tool for you. Just click on Windows Icon and in the start screen, click on settings then update and security and click on recovery on the left pane. Depending on your former windows version, you'll see "Go back to Windows 8.1 (or 7)"
Note that this feature is only available for a month because Microsoft deletes your "windows.old" folder after a month so apparently you have a month to decide if you're gonna stick with windows 10 or not.
5. CORTANA SEARCH BAR ON THE TASKBAR
This is one of the first things you notice immediately after upgrading to Windows 10. The cortana search bar being in the Taskbar may be cool for some but to others, unnecessary. Here's a short way to hide it or turn it to Cortana icon. Right click on the bar and select "search" (if you've activated cortana, you'll see cortana instead of search) then from the sub menu click "Show search as icon" or "hidden".
6. DISPLAY DRIVER PROBLEM (SCREEN BRIGHTNESS NOT WORKING OR SLEEP MODE MISSING)
This problem occurs because during the update, Microsoft uninstalls your display driver and installs the basic display adapter for you.
The solution is to install your display driver back. You can do this by either
1. checking for Windows update and updating your system
2. Go to device manager and right click on display driver and update using internet
3. Download driverpack solution or any driver installation software
7. BATTERY DISCHARGING VERY FAST(FIXED. ONLY FIRST GEN PROCESSORS ARE AFFECTED)
Sadly this has not fully been resolved but Microsoft and Intel are continuously working on it. It has been restored on some processors so keep updating your windows, yours might be next.
