They should pay them what they deserve. Most them wont be able to secure office space or residence in that area @ completion so why owe them their salary or accumulated wages.

Remember watching his second term campaign on TV. One of his covenant was that a vehicle plant 'Olumo Motor' will start up in Ogun State. Still await Olumo Motors...
PoliticsRe: How Technology And Social Media Helped Buhari To Win by P007: 9:40pm On Apr 03, 2015
To some extent but there was serious vote swing due to:
1.GEJ inability to convince electorate that he has perfect plan for the next 4 years because he couldn't give perfect account of the present.
2.Electorate wanted something different from the Norm.
3. Introduction of PVC
4. Electorate defended there vote even where GMB lost, they didn't allow too much of rigging.
5. JEGA
6. BUhari Factor
PoliticsRe: Jonathan Begins Gradual Movement Out Of Aso Rock by P007: 8:22pm On Apr 03, 2015
SammyHoe:
FOUR MAJOR REASONS WHY JONATHAN ACCEPTED DEFEAT EASILY

1. There are international observers everywhere and any nonsense will get him Gbagboed into International prison because they have declared the election as FREE AND FAIR. Remember Charles Taylor, Laurent Gbagbo and Gaddafi. They are all soldiers who are not scared a bit of prison or death, that's why they never stopped fighting. But for GEJ, he is not strong; a civillian like you and I, not ready to languish in prison. Obama himself made allusion to Nigeria election a day before it held, so that is enough to send some sensation of fear into the spine of any African president who has no military background. Jona himself has been made to sign peace treaty twice and also interviewed internationally and made to vow that their would be a credible election.
You are on point, especially with your first point. Remember the way even OBJ with his military experience had to retrace his step during the 3rd Term saga. But for the sake of consolation, he deserve some praise. @least we are all @ peace @ easter.

PoliticsRe: Drop Your Message of Commendation For President GEJ Here.. by P007: 9:06pm On Mar 31, 2015
Like Fayemi...like GEJ.
Fayemi laid this path and its very good of GEJ to follow suit. I think We are building a great nation.
Jega has shown us we can have election that is almost credible.
GEJ has done is part by congratulating GMB.
My Prayer is for GMB to really put us on that right part to greater. Then we can all rejoice.
PoliticsRe: Presidential Poll: Soldiers Arrive Lagos’ Streets by P007: 9:15pm On Mar 23, 2015
#smiles but if we don't forget, Using soldier in Lagos in the past swing result against the big umbrella.

If they are for law and order in Lagos. I think the Idea is wrong because we are not in state of war and if the development is for this election, then lagos people be careful....its now military zone, we warned.

But there is no civility in that decision no matter ones party affiliation.

PoliticsRe: Gov. Ayo Fayose Says Buhari Is His Father by P007: 6:55pm On Mar 10, 2015
Its quite unfortunate that a state that boast of great Erudite will have a governor that lack decorum. I somehow have link with Ekiti and I believe he is a disgrace to that great state.
Fayose, where is the Fountain a knowledge in you. As much as he has right to his opinion, I think Fayose has lost the Iyi (honour) in him as the state is fondly call,'Ile Iya (Land of Honour)'. He is a damn Governor for heaven sake...

PoliticsRe: Fashola's 8 Years And Gej/FG/All PDP State's 16 Years Record. Compare. PICS.... by P007: 9:47pm On Mar 05, 2015
notobs:
Jonathan built 13 new universities not secondary schools and approved 37 universities in all in just 5 years, Fashola renovated 3 secondary schools out of 273 secondary schools in lagos state in 7.8yrs as governor.
Rivers state APC completed just 1 secondary school out of 289 secondary schools in rivers state.
This is the record of APC in Education.

Conclusion:
APC has failed in education, all public universities in APC States are not affordable , Tuition has been hiked 1000%. Fashola went to university of benin for free due to Awolowo free education, now he has put education in lagos state in the exclusive list of the rich. Shame on Fashola and APC.
Bros, na by force? As long as I like GEJ, his failure is obvious. Have U ever been to rivers to see for yourself what amechi did in terms of schools both pry and sec level? @least noone is asking you to give back what you have collected (money), that is if you have been given something. It is time we need to tell a bad eye that its faulty. Don't tell us black is red. #WEAREFOOLSNOMORE
PoliticsRe: 15 Parties, Five Presidential Candidates May Boycott Elections by P007: 9:04pm On Mar 04, 2015
UNLESS WE GET IT RIGHT IT MAY NOT BE ALRIGHT.
I pray for Nigeria, my beloved country. May we not go the way of Liberia that got independent 1847 and Haiti 1804.
The most important thing was that these nations never got it right.
I pray we get it right for once in this country. Yes, we have a young democracy. That should not drive us crazy. Unless we are all ready to do the right thing and our leaders are ready to let go of 'do or die' ideology, we may be heading wild wild west.
Am always scared of the questions that generation on born would ask this generation.

I pray this election won't lead us back to 'Military Era'.
I pray it won't bring back the 'Civil War'.
I pray it won't bring back the 'Operation Wet e'.

UNLESS WE GET IT RIGHT IT MAY NOT BE ALRIGHT.
PoliticsRe: Apostle Johnson Suleman Prophesies Mourning In The Camp Of APC by P007: 7:53am On Feb 28, 2015
You just need to go over the life of King Ahab before his final battle. All the prophets in the land were saying the same thing except one that prophesied his doom. So its nothing new, we were all alive when 'dem say' OBJ go die. The man still dey OTTA dey Rear Im chicken

PoliticsRe: Parties’ Positions At The Meeting With INEC On Poll Shift by P007: 9:51pm On Feb 07, 2015
The same Africa mentality, I expect nothing different from GEJ. When Obj was perceived to be planning 3rd term, the whole nation cried but look at this mess we have found ourselves again.

A leader not willing to relinquish power even when his people don't want him.

Mama Africa your children are crying for change. You are been ripped apart, rape by our leader. I pray every selfish desire won't manifest as we prepare for this election.

As an Economist,am with the Soludo school on this one. OP,where is the full article na? huh Soludo actually challenged Madam to a public debate. Am salivating already cos it will definitely be more heated and issues based than the debate between the "clueless one" and the "senile one". grin

Sometimes I marvel @ ppls comment on this forum. And that's the reason I rarely comment here. This Incident happen in my area and U will marvel at the way PDP campaign team was armed to teeth, shooting sporadically, chanting where are d broom ppl? Where are d APC people? To my surprise they have 3 police patrol vehicles in their convoy.

This was same thing that happened 2011 around same area when Segun Adewale was campaigning. I know they are all armed @all time but one have to be civic.

AgricultureRe: Why Can't Apples Grow In Nigeria? by P007: 10:47am On Sep 27, 2014
Apple don't grow or do well in the tropics due to the temperature. Apple need chilling temperature between flowering and fruiting stage to do well. That's temperature or weather we do not have here. Mind you, its not that apple won't grow but it won't do well that's why we have our local variety.
