i dont get bro, i dont think i will be helping myself if i come on this platform to tell a lie , am done with my bsc here in Nigeria, dicussed with my mom about proceeding for masters but she made me understand that she cant inveat in this country anymore that there aint any guarantee of even geting a job with all d educational expenses that if i can find my out of the country for further studies that she will fund it , and the person she spoke with made her understand that msc will be more costlier to start woth compared to bsc , stating results verification, transcripts, exams ,school fees and all that, i didnt have any information regarding traveling out , that was y i came here to make my findings. i really appreciate your reply bro
why will you use what someone told your mum to make plans. the Internet is there to confirm certain things. even for undergraduate you still have to write SAT. Undergraduate or postgraduate , u.s education is never cheap for international students except you are loaded(even some of their citizens still carry the burden of debt after graduating), that's why we all pray for funding from the school.
I will advise you prepare for fall 2018 as funding is usually more in fall. it's quite late now as most schools priority deadline for funding is usually January 15th for international student and I doubt you can meet up.
since you got a 2.1 try and ace your exams and apply for fall 2018, that way you won't be much under pressure. think about it.

thanks bro,
not that i cant sit for the GRE or TOEFL or that i dont believe i can attain a high score, but i am only considering the financial aspect, as an average student i need to do some tutorials b4 i sit for the exam ,and it might not come cheap, i was only considering the undergraduate option because of the finance. the o'level issue is just what am worried about.
thanks for your reponse bro, compliments
I still believe u can pass the GRE and TOEFL I use to run from u.s admission stuff because of those two exams, in fact before now I was thinking of Germany or Italy since exam is usually not required by some of the schools there. but my elder bro in u.s had to force me and change my awkward thinking about u.s schools. I wrote my GRE around November and I had 319 with just one month preparation mind you I was really depressed by then because i lost my job during the period, I later sat for my TOEFL in december and I scored 96 it will will interest you to know I was even going to work from 7a.m and I get home sometimes 9 or 10pm hence I really didn't prepare for the TOEFL.
in summary the exam is not as difficult as you think, just try and download some materials online like the kaplan and magoosh text books, watch notefull videos on YouTube, you can also download magoosh videos for mathematics from any good torrent site. study the materials and go write your exams, you don't need to go to any tutorial... on exam day make sure you answer all question whether you know the answer or not since there is no negative marking, with these you are sure of passing.
Apply to as much school as you can minimum of six so you can be on the safe side. back everything up with prayer and you are good to go.
compliment of the season.

what is the essence of going backward when you can go forward, while not sit for your GRE and TOEFL and make sure you score high so you can get at least a good funding for masters. beside who said undergraduate is cheaphuh or are you looking for an escape route.huh How will you even answer the VO when he or she ask you what you have been doing since 2007 with your o'level resulthuh

Thanks, but with my transcript, can't something be done?
I don't know but one thing I'm sure of studying medicine is not that straightforward as you think, sometimes you have to even finish up with one medical science related program before you finally go fully into medicine. from your write up you are thinking of an easy way out of Nigeria.
if you are really financially constraint as you claim, how do you intend to finance your exams (GRE and TOEFL) , school application(s), all the way down to flighthuh then when you get there you need to also have enough to settle down... young man look before you leap.

Hi Sir/Ma,I dropped out of medical school in my third year due to financial constraint. But am planning on continuing it in the US. So,please how will it be? how do I go about it ?considering that am not financially equipped completely. Also, can I get any sponsor from individuals or organization? as reading medicine has been my dream but my financial challenge is really handicapping me. I have my transcript. Thanks, for everything.
why will anyone drop out of medicine in third yearhuh If you can't get a sponsor why studying medicine in Nigeria is it in u.s.a you want to get onehuh how can you even convince someone to help you when you are currently out of schoolhuh I think it would have been easier to play on people sentiment and reason to sponsor while you where still studying medicine in school. Anyway good luck on getting a sponsor to u.s.

Hello, That's not possible! What they simply did was to move the NOC which monitors telecom site.(just a software to show if a site is down or up or performing optimally) nothing like security threat here as the back bone infrastructure is still in Nigeria and controlled by operators.
kenmaro:
I don't think this is good for Nigeria's sovereignty & security. Modern warfare is fought by air & communication technology. If in a case of external threat to our national security, our communication lines could be shut off cheaply from their abode in favour of our enemy, who might be a political ally to the Indians, because we do not have control over our communication lines. Nigerian government should look into its implications.

Thought IHS only monitors power unit in telecom sitehuh
progress69:
Erricon ceased to manage mtn sites for more than a year now. They have been loosen the battle to Huawei too before IHS came and swept the whole of MTN sites under their feet. There is no MTN mast to monitor from India. IHS does the whole monitoring. Probably some Airtel masts, which Huawei also monitors.

Thank God for this forum. I have a B.Eng in electrical engr. 2.2 worked with a telecom sector for roughly two years. The first year I worked as a field service engineer where I was involve in repairing diesel generators and other power system equipment such as ATS, PIU etc and later got another one with a different telecom company where I worked as an Radio frequency engineer but the contract suddenly ended in August cry as the company lost the contract to another rival company. Since then I have been searching for a job in the telecom industry. Currently residing in the northern part of the country (bauchi) because I was posted here from lagos in my last employment. Hope to start my masters soon pending when I get a job.
Just in case you can help a brother, kindly get in touch with me. My email Is: matthewafolayan9@gmail.com

U lie!!! Bricklayer job in lekki-ajah has been taken over by so called egun people who work like elephant! They even pay some 900 naira. cry
Excuzeme:
Brossie,

If he steps foot in the Lekki/Ajah axis today-today, l can assure you 100% that he will get Bricklayer-Labour work at nothing less than #3,500 per day.

If he had been doing that since the third month of his wife's preganancy, and saving say 70% only, of the Money, working just five days and using Saturday and Sunday to do "extra" on his pregnant wife (just to aid easy delivery! grin ),

Today, he would have 3,500 x 20 days x 6months x 0.7 = #294,000 richer and still counting!
That is at 70% savings, working just 20days in a thirty-day month,

But the shameless and no-dignity braggart prefers to shameless expose his little babies and be doing fine-baara!
grin grin grin

Go and get a job! Imagine if everyone had to be begging for help, instead of working and sweating?
Damboro-baa!

I cant really about the age matter.. I took u need an affidavit for backup,I read something like that on this thread.. For January intake are they admitting? Its a private school?
University of Siena. What they meant is that I don't need to reapply in January, I can use my current admission letter to start the pre enrolment when it starts in may.

smithsydny:
when did u get the admission? To your question your Waec is the most important sir..
July this year, but was told I pre enrolment has closed for the year so I informed the school and they said I can use it in January intake. But like I said what exactly can I do about the age "issue" on my waec. huh
TravelRe: Italian Student Visa-help! by paboye: 10:51am On Oct 30, 2016
Ladies and gentlemen, I got admission for masters in unisi in italy and I intend to pursue it but I have one problem which is my WAEC which has a different date of birth different from the one on my passport. My question is can I totally leave out my WAEC during legalization, pre-enrolment and visa application.huh
