bcomputer101:I have been contributing on Nairaland since 2016. My username then was Topyhanky. Later, during my farm practice in agriculture, I also used another username which is the name of my digital company Safeopportunities. Below are some of my past threads on Nairaland for confirmation. https://www.nairaland.com/6030137/alleviating-poverty-hunger-starvation-nigeria https://www.nairaland.com/5420737/been-long-sop-sex httpss://www.nairaland.com/topyhanky |
Bluntemperor:Thank you very much sir, I really appreciate your kind words and support. You are right, anyone that people give the opportunity must keep to his promise and also be ready to answer to the people. Four years is not too long ooo ,so the work must speak for itself. The truth is that if we want change, we must take charge ourselves. And for us to take charge, we must support one another. We should not keep waiting for tomorrow. We are the leaders of today, not tomorrow. I truly appreciate your encouragement. 🙏 |
eteebanky1:My brother, thanks for your honest opinion. But it’s not a must for someone to contest under APC before he can serve the people. APC will definitely present their own candidate for the position. If everybody must only run under one party, then gradually Nigeria will become a one-party state, and that will not be good for our democracy. Elections are not only about money or incumbency. With positive support, even if it’s just telling somebody to tell somebody, people will get to know me and support the movement. I know Nairalanders have influence and can make things happen. I just need your positive support. |
tojahh:I hear you, but make we no conclude matter wey never happen. I’m in ADP and I’m focused on representing Abeokuta North well. The aim na development for our people, nothing more.

princeade86:Thank you for the observations it’s Ogunfeyitimi |

omojeesu:Thank you my brother, I really appreciate it. You’re right, the God factor is very important. With God’s guidance and the support of the people, we move forward. I truly appreciate the encouragement. |
essentialone:Thank you very much for your honest comment, I truly appreciate it. You are right that online support alone cannot win elections, but it helps create awareness and allows people to discuss real issues affecting our communities. My intention is not to go into public office to amass wealth. What motivates me is the desire to contribute to the development of Abeokuta North and ensure our people benefit from purposeful representation. I strongly believe leadership should focus on service, accountability, and real community impact Your support in sharing ideas and encouraging discussions is already a positive contribution, and I appreciate it. Let’s keep the conversation going. |
maysimsimple:Yes please |
If you had the power to reform public schools in Abeokuta North today… What one major change would you introduce to improve the quality of education for our children? Share your thoughts. Let’s discuss solutions.

PACIONS:If I had the opportunity to represent Abeokuta North in the House of Assembly, three immediate policy priorities I would push to tackle youth unemployment are: 1. Youth Skills & Innovation Development Program I would advocate for legislation that supports the establishment of community skill and innovation centers where young people can gain practical training in areas such as digital technology, creative industries, agriculture, construction, and vocational trades. Skills must match real economic opportunities. 2. Small Business & Youth Enterprise Support Fund Many youths have ideas but lack access to startup capital. I would push for policies that create structured micro-grants and low-interest loans for young entrepreneurs, alongside mentorship and business development support. 3. Agriculture & Local Production Empowerment Abeokuta North has strong agricultural potential. I would promote policies that encourage youth participation in modern agriculture, agro-processing, and local value chains, helping young people move from unemployment into productive enterprise. These three areas — skills, entrepreneurship, and agriculture — can create sustainable opportunities when properly supported. But leadership should always listen to the people, which is why I truly value the ideas shared here. Let’s keep the conversation going.

maysimsimple:Thank you very much for your sincere response, I truly appreciate it. And honestly, you don’t have to be a politician to contribute to community development. In fact, some of the best ideas come from citizens who experience the realities of the community every day. Since you live in Ita Oshin within Abeokuta North, your perspective is very valuable. We can start by discussing: • The major challenges youths face in Ita Oshin • Practical community-driven solutions • Ways to encourage skills development and opportunities for young people If you’re open to it, my contact is available in my bio. I would be glad if you could reach out so we can also engage further on WhatsApp and exchange ideas directly. Your insights will be very helpful, and I truly appreciate your willingness to engage. 🤝

Good evening Nairalanders. My name is Hon. Ogunfeyitimi Tope Joshua, an educator, innovator, and social reform advocate from Abeokuta North. I believe leadership should not only be about speeches but about practical actions that improve the lives of our people. I am preparing to serve my people in the Ogun State House of Assembly representing Abeokuta North, and I want to engage openly with Nigerians, especially those who understand the realities of grassroots communities. Abeokuta North has enormous potential in education, agriculture, youth development, technology, and local enterprise, yet many opportunities remain untapped. Through community-driven initiatives like PAIN, ( POVERTY ALLEVIATION IN NIGERIA) I have continued to advocate for youth empowerment, civic responsibility, and sustainable development. I am using this thread to: • Listen to ideas from Nigerians • Discuss practical development strategies for Abeokuta North • Connect with Nairalanders who have ties to the constituency • Encourage political awareness and responsible participation If you have connections to Abeokuta North or Ogun State, your insight and support will be valuable. Together, we can build a stronger and more progressive Abeokuta North. #TheNewGenerationVoice9

AMI3:The bag carries my power bank, some urgent devices and small essentials I must move with at all times. As person wey dey move up and down and stay connected, you gats be prepared. But I appreciate you for liking the ambition. We move with purpose, not just style. 💪
|
BucketHat:Honorable self nah normal human being nah…. At least I have to move with power banks , tabs keys etc brother |
Benrosaria:I agree with you completely. Leadership is not about dressing big or making noise — it is about service and humility. I believe in leading from the grassroots, serving first before asking to be followed. That is the foundation of this movement. I will value your support as we build something people-centered and different together.

This kind of news is very painful and embarrassing for us as Nigerians. What this man did is wrong and it has serious consequences, not just for him but for the image of our country. The truth is, many Nigerians abroad are doing well, working hard and making us proud. But when things like this happen, it gives foreigners the wrong impression about all of us. That is why we must continue to speak against fraud and criminal activities clearly and boldly. As a leader, I believe the real solution is not just condemnation. We must focus on empowering our youths, creating real opportunities, promoting digital skills the right way, and teaching strong values of integrity and accountability. When young people see genuine opportunities at home, they will not be tempted to take dangerous shortcuts. This is part of the movement I am building — a movement that stands for integrity, empowerment, and responsible leadership. I urge you all to support my move. Together, we can change the narrative and build a generation we will all be proud of. Hon. Ogunfeyitimi Tope Joshua The New Generation Voice

This is exactly why Nigeria must never become a one-party space. Democracy survives on competition, alternatives, and independent thinking. When citizens have real options, credibility increases and accountability becomes stronger. No nation grows well under political dominance by one party alone — that leans toward quiet autocracy. We must continue to strengthen credible alternatives like ADP so Nigerians always have a real choice. One Destiny. Action Forward.

Clearing pension and gratuity arrears is a major step toward restoring dignity to our retirees. Governance is ultimately about people, and this shows commitment to responsibility and continuity. I hope the momentum is sustained.

Leadership is about vision, competence and integrity. Nigeria needs fresh thinking and new energy. Let’s give credible leaders the chance to serve and prove themselves.

Ending Poverty in Nigeria Requires Action, Not Promises President Tinubu must begin to think deeply about ending poverty in Nigeria by doing the basic things right—investing in people, empowering communities, and strengthening grassroots systems that directly touch the lives of the poor. At PACIONS, we did not wait for power before taking responsibility. We embraced pain as a movement and sacrifice as a duty, committing ourselves to the hard work of eradicating poverty from the grassroots upward. Our approach is simple but effective: empower local communities, create opportunities, support skills, and restore dignity to struggling families. Poverty will not end through speeches alone. It will end when leadership aligns with people-centered policies, transparent governance, and deliberate investment in education, skills, small businesses, agriculture, and youth development. The Join Pain Movement is a call to conscience—a reminder that real change begins when leaders and citizens alike are willing to share the burden, feel the pain of the masses, and act with sincerity. Nigeria does not need sympathy; Nigeria needs structured compassion backed by action. We invite all well-meaning Nigerians, policymakers, and leaders to join this movement, because the fight against poverty is not a slogan—it is a responsibility. The pain is real. The people are ready. The time to act is now.

Nigeria is richly blessed with petroleum resources, and it is only right that the people feel the benefit of what God has placed in our land. Affordable petroleum products are not a privilege; they are a necessity for economic survival. When fuel is affordable, transportation becomes easier, food prices stabilize, businesses grow, and the burden on ordinary Nigerians reduces. Leadership must ensure that our resources work for the people, not against them. This is the spirit of the **Poverty Alleviation in Nigeria (PAIN) Movement**—turning national wealth into shared opportunity, not suffering. Our resources must circulate in ways that uplift lives, create jobs, and restore dignity. Nigeria has what it takes; what remains is the political will to put the people first.
