@ flyuche are u sure ur friend is not mistaking 1x service for EVDO? I'm in Uyo as we speak and i'm using i zap express card. I have gone round the the whole city there is no such thing like EVDO service here. I'm a dealer of that product so i let my clients knw what dey getting them self into. I'm sure ur friend is using it with the iboost accelerator that's y he feels there is EVDO there. Starcomms promised by the end of this month they will role out EVDO service @ this location. For now calabar is covered with EVDO but not everywhere. .

@lynx don't tell me u have not been using those functions in the manager? na wa to u? is it only browsing u bought ur modem for? well to ans ur question the call & sms works u just have to try it and see for ur self.

@smir i agree with  u Starcomms is the best for now. although they are not giving us what dey claim sha . Prof,dual, uche and the rest of u who use izap xpress card or any izap products, just 2 let u knw u can send free sms with it to any network for free. I discoverd it last month i have not been around to share it with u guys. If u already know about it u guys should enjoy texting. For  those who don't know check it out.

U can also make free calls everyday 24hrs with ur roaming ruim(07029) u knw dey only give weekends calls but this one is diffrent.  just send me  an offline with ur no (07029 xx xxxx xx) i will call u 4 free and tell u how u can benifit from this. Imagine if all ur phone contacts have 07029 u know what that means? I'll leave u to solve that puzzle.

EVDO is not yet in Uyo. it's in calabar now but it's not at its peak just like the other states. the higest speed u get in calabar is 120kbs which is nothing compare to what prof and info are getting in thier respective area. For those using I zap u can send free sms to any network (MTN,GLO,ETISALAT, O2,AT&T etc) in the world. check it out. And i gats something for those using the roaming RUIM(0702 buzz me on YIM ejimon902001@yahoo.com. Prof, Info Hon, Dragnet, Dual Raph send me ur starcomms no so i can call u guys. Cheers.

U guys are very funny, U act as if no b nija we dey. This guys will roll out well in the beginning, but their greatest problem is maintaining it. Haven't u guys learnt ur leasons from other telecoms i.e(yellow,green,red,purple, e.t.c) before this 1? Well as for me I'm not suprise at all. Very soon d cost of der modem will b dropped aswell der monthly subcribtion because that's the only strategy dey need to keep their customer on their network. Now Etisalat is next.

Thanx mustay, But i think dey should b a copy in that fone section u knw not everybody visit computer section and people needs to b elighten with this software. U and I know almost 98% of our members connects their pc with usb devices or via bluetooth. Hope u feel me?

There is always a door to your computer and if not sealed in time or at least monitored properly chances are a nasty finds it and infects your machineI find this software so facinating, it protects against any malicious programs trying to attack via USB drive.

Why are u guys fighting over nothing?  The poster did a great job by opening this thread with this topic for people who don't know der way about activating gprs on zain. U all should know that people in this land don't read the content inside threads is the topic that motivates or attracts them to open it. for example if i should creat a thread lwith " BYPASSING GLO NETWORK" U will find out alot of people will open it. After all people still call some members in this forum to activate there lines for them. lmao
