buckyfof: I first want to thank Almighty Allah, for the journey.
First application, with an agent Submitted - March 16th 2021 I lost my dad - may 23rd Refusal - June 28th A day after my birthday, my refusal reason was just purpose of visit. The agent applied for a 2nd BSc for me and I was kind of like a novice but I just knew it wasn't right. And I reconfirmed after I joined nairaland fully during my application process.
After the refusal, I was weak, angry, pained and I decided to do it on my own this time, I had learned enough from nairaland and was more motivated than ever. I got my files from my agent and I found out he made a lot of mistakes and I knew correcting them would put me in a lot of future troubles. Then spectro messaged me from here after my refusal and was just interested in helping me, the guy is truly God sent, he repackaged my application, my LOE was practically almost written by him. I will write and send it to him and he will cancel it and make adjustments, told me to correct all the mistakes the agent made and assured me I was doing the right thing.
Let me just put he's a genius. He did everything for me for free, I had to ask him what I did to deserve his help
I also appreciate everyone from nairaland too, Belle10, freshestc, teemenzo and everyone who answered me. 2nd application Submitted - 14th of October Ordered 1st gcms and it came back review required and pre-assessments notes as - further review. Deferred from January to April and sent my updated LOA on the 5th of March Ghost updates on the 15th of March Contacted mp and she told me my eligibility was still yet to be completed, but no document was missing
Spectro advised me to start online, and send my enrollment letter to ircc, so I started and sent it to them via email and webform.
Sent enrollment letter - 30th of March.
Ghost updates on 25th, 26th and 27th of april
2nd Gcms notes came in 10th of May - saw it on 11th of may the next day, nothing really changed. I almost cried. Sent them one emotional mail About how long my application had been, and how my school was starting in person classes next semester fully. PPR - 11th of may

EhischemNg: if na part then it is good...Explain it is a gift deed from dad, using him as a co -sponsor means u need to show his statement of acct too, show his transfer to u.
Then your dad retirement documents showing his total gratuity and monthly pay..
Jux being careful as the dere are cases visa are being refused due to the vo concerns of depletion of family resourses" I get the point. Thank you for your attention, I really appreciate. |

EhischemNg: Broda this isn't so complex as u carry it to be.
If u have a legit source of income with documents to prove how u got the money, backing it with a study leave from work then you are good on your part.
Same with your dad...documents to prof is income sufficiently is enough.
Now u wanna make a decision whether to add ur dad 3M in ur Acct.... If ur dad is indeed working it is fine as more moni would be coming in...
Jux dt u can't empty ur dad accct broda...that might be a red flag...
Moreover you dont need to show so much moni dt wouldn't be needed for ur living allowance or tuition fee..
Plus, hope you aren't just focusing on the moni and living the other VO concerns like home ties, reason of study etc.
In summary: if u have successfully proven both sources of income, let ur dad be the co sponsor by sending u a ratio from his acct as gift deed, which needs to be explained in your SOP....
My 2 cents Thank you for the response broda.. I truly appreciate. Dad has a steady monthly pension. The 3m is just part of his gratuity to support what I have for the POF. |

Osemigho: I think the 3m in his account is too small for him to be your sponsor. He should transfer the money to you as a support from him and get a letter of support to back it up. Also, you have to give full details of your program tuition and family situation (married with kids or not) to get the best advise. Yes… I am married with 2 kids. Have a running business that generates weekly/monthly income of about 300k. Dad is a pensioner with 100k steady monthly pension Program is an international business management at NBCC 10k tuition and 10k living expenses for a year. |

Please house, I need your advise before putting in my application.
I have 9m plus in my account and my dad has 3m plus in his own account.
Should I get the 3m in his account to mine and get a gift deed to support it OR I get a letter and affidavit of support/sponsorship from him, and use his statement of account as a co sponsor.
Thank you for your kind response. |

Hi everyone, sure we are holding up well?
Someone should kindly advise if a slight modification to my previous SOP won't be termed plagiarism even though I developed it myself and intended using most of the paragraphs for my reapplication. |
