Why not buy these Mppt chargers from Aliexpress or EBay? Must you buy it so costly in Nigeria.. I saw a lot of 60a Mppt charge controllers for about N45,000 to N50,000. Why not make a go at it Temizee...

Yes the high cost of procurement has always been the
disadvantage of trackers, that is because we buy from the oversees.
That i intend to tackle. I am making arrangements on a platform that will enable an individual to acquire a solar tracker that can accommodate a total capacity of 600w solar panel arrays at roughly N12,000 or lower along with 1year guarantee.
Oversizing your array a little bit to compensate for
losese due to angle of inclination would waste more money than it would if you had acquired a solar tracker, and in such case you would have as much chance of surviving as a scoop of ice cream dropped into a furnace.
As the sun moves across the sky it spends roughly two hours when it is directly above your solar panel, anything more than that and it begins to move away from the direct view of panel and such is how the efficiency of the solar panel drops off.

Are you saying that because I am going to build it, therefore it won't last and the mechanical parts of the tracker will fail after two years? Like hell you sure sounded as sure as you could ever be.

I also have some new batteries and Mppt charge controllers that I am offering for sale. They were the remains of a project I did for a client of mine. They were supposed to be used for a solar project but were set aside when some couple dozens of 12v 600ah American specs batteries arrived the scene .
The specs of the batteries are as follows;
Model: Storace SRG100-12 valve regulated gel cell.
Voltage: 12v
Capacity: 100ah
The batteries goes for N17,000 per piece..
The specs of the Mppt charge controller are as follows;
Input voltage: 12v-100v
Output voltage: 12v/24v
Output power: 120w(12v), 240w(24v)
The Mppt charge controllers goes for N8,000 per piece..

Guess we've all heard Solar tracker, a vital device in solar system, i don't know if it's already been
mentioned in one of the numerous pages;
Haven't heard of a company nor individual installing it.
I bet it's a nice investment to make considering the fact it can recover from 40%-60% of the energy from the sun.
To practically test this assertion, I've tried measuring the amps on an 80w solar panel that i pointed directly to the sun. I got around 6.8A.
When pointed at 30 degrees away from the sun I got around 3.5A.
But at 45 degrees to the sun the meter reads 1.8A.
Suffice to say this experiment was done around 2.00pm with the sun clearly visible and no obstructing clouds.
You might try that on your own and you would be amazed at the energy that is being wasted using fixed solar panel.
I want to commence building these solar trackers at affordable prices and selling them here in Nigeria. I have already ordered all the parts I would be needing to build it from Aliexpress and Ebay.

Off course they are new. Just that the cartons that bore them aren't there, as they have been discarded because the batteries were suppose to be used for a solar project, but along the line, five dozens of 2v 200Ah batteries arrived into the scene. It was subsequently deemed ideal to make do with the newly arrived batteries due to some stringent purpose.
Suffice to say the 12v 100ah batteries haven't been used practically.
